    Marketing Manager (Frankfurt am Main)
    Beschreibung
      Reporting to the Head of Consumer Marketing, Europe, the Marketing Manager, Germany will be responsible for the planning, production and execution of new and existing marketing-driven initiatives for OpenTable in Germany. Working with the consumer,B2B marketing and PR teams, this is a varied role. Day to day interactions will include working with diners, restaurant partners, technology partners and internal teams to test, optimize, and launch campaigns, across multiple channels. The diversity of the role requires an individual who is comfortable working in an environment where competing projects will be a constant challenge.

      This person will leverage an understanding of direct-response marketing and email best practices. S/he will analyse user behaviour and program performance to deliver progress reports and recommendations to management about the future of marketing initiatives.

    Verantwortlichkeitsbereich
    • Delivery of both local consumer and B2B marketing campaigns
    • Delivery of marketing communications plan
    • Event coordination
    • Local supplier relationship management
    • Public Relations support including maintaining and translating company collateral
    • Email and web page production and editorial development; working with partner restaurants as necessary for content
    • Tracking and analysing programme results and performance improvement based on learning
    • Collaboration with internal and external partners for identifying and promoting relevant events and offers
    • Development and tracking of social media programs and other viral programs to acquire new diners
    • Planning and execution of new email marketing programs for OpenTable registered diners, including new trigger programs, welcome/win-back emails and other targeted programs

    Gewünschte Berufserfahrung
    • Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent), preferably with a marketing or PR qualification
    • Several years of marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of driving results; email marketing experience required
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and German (writing sample required)
    • Basic HTML coding ability a plus
    • Superior project and program management skills; results-focus with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented
    • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong numerate and analytic skills, including proficiency in Excel;
    • Very organised, efficient, detail oriented, ability to work autonomously, highly productive multi-tasker; self-motivated and flexible; thrives in entrepreneurial environment
    • Strong priority management with the ability to manage a range of stakeholders with different objectives
    • Strong business acumen with a knowledge of budgets
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Experience deploying email campaigns preferred
    • Graphic design skills, including PhotoShop experience a plus
    • B2B marketing experience
    • Strong copy-writing experience in German; and English (to a lesser extent)
    • Good knowledge of & experience working with corporate social media platforms in the German market e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc.

    Sales Associate (Frankfurt am Main)
    Beschreibung
      The Sales Associate is responsible for initiatives that increase sales effectiveness and efficiency.

    Verantwortlichkeitsbereich
    • Generate sales leads; Assist with sales prospecting both on the phone and in-person to schedule appointments for Account Executives in their region
    • Implement lead generation programs as they are developed by the Restaurant Marketing team
    • Create and distribute sales messages to restaurant prospects using traditional mailings and targeted email marketing
    • Provide general sales support to local sales team; Ensure lead hand-offs to Account Executives are successful and exceed customer satisfaction
    • Respond to requests from prospects for additional product information
    • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
    • Some travel required for market research and sales initiatives, as well as organizing, preparing for and attending regional tradeshows

    Gewünschte Berufserfahrung
    • Ideally several years of telesales or call-centre experience

    Area Manager - South Germany (Frankfurt or Stuttgart or Munich)
    Beschreibung
      Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales & Restaurant Relations, the Area Manager will be responsible for managing restaurant acquisitions and retentions along with revenue growth within South Germany. In this key role you will be managing a team of sales and account management professionals through challenging customer and prospect scenarios. The ideal candidate will be located in Frankfurt, Stuttgart or Munich to cover South Germany successfully. Frankfurt will be office based, Stuttgart and Munich will be home office based with regular visits to our Frankfurt office.

    Verantwortlichkeitsbereich
    • Manage a team to meet/exceed assigned sales and retention goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
    • Prepare annual forecasts, including comprehensive sales and retention planning, for the area
    • Interview, hire and train new sales and restaurant relations team members as needed
    • Stay current with organizational changes, initiatives, and vision. Lead and motivate his/her team around these
    • Maintain an expert level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers
    • Coach and support assigned team
    • Maintain clear communication lines and a sense of camaraderie for your team from a distance
    • Share and implement best practices with members of the sales and restaurant relations leadership team
    • Complete annual performance reviews for direct reports
    • Participate in development and execution of training and coaching programs across the sales and restaurant relations team
    • 30-50% travel is expected depending on local market

    Gewünschte Berufserfahrung
    • Several years of experience in a target driven sales role and also strong experience in account management are required
    • People management experience
    • Fluency in German and English is a must
    • Proven track record of motivating a team, setting goals and targets and performance management
    • Thorough knowledge of consultative selling process, ability to demonstrate complete control of process with prospects in the field and ability to train other staff on the process
    • Flexibility to travel
    • Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure and against challenging goals and deadlines
    • Experience within the restaurant industry is a plus but not required
