A 2Johns Signature Dish. 7oz./10oz. filet, pepper-crusted and served with whipped red potatoes, haricots verts and cognac-peppercorn cream sauce

Food was delicious. Service was very good. Waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer questions and suggest options.
We had the filet, ribeye, macaroni and cheese and cheesecake for dessert. All was fabulous, but the blueberry lemon martini was fantastic!!
There were four of us an we all had different entrees. Two different steaks and two different fish. All were prepared and cooked to our liking. Service was a mite slower than I like but the drinks were cold and the food hot. The bread was excellent and we were happy to receive a 2nd portion with butter. All in all a good experience. We don't go there often as the prices are above our budget except for special occasions.
Service was excellent and service outstanding, chatter level somewhat on the loud side otherwise you cannot ask for more. the quality of food is 5 star.
2Johns is a great experience. Our table of four had the seabass (2), trout and filet. All experienced excellent preparation and service.
The steaks we had this evening were quite possibly the best we have ever had anywhere, including past visits to 2Johns. We actually talked about how we have been spoiled by this place and do not enjoy steaks at lower end steakhouses anymore. We actually were disappointed by the steaks at Bob's in Fort Worth because their steaks and service didn't stand up to what we find right here at 2Johns. My wife had the Steak Au Poive and I tried the Steak Craw Poive, which was fantastic! We started with the crabmeat au gratin, which was wonderful as well. Add to that a Sazerac from the bar which is annoyingly better than my own, and we could not have had a better dinner.
2Johns is a little bit expensive, but not for the quality of food you get. If you haven't been here, yet, then you really should give it a try.
The sea bass, filet, and creme brulee were excellent as always. The crab could have used a lemon butter sauce over the fish to tie it together, but it was still delicious. Always a great choice.

Hamburgers and shrimp poboy were excellent! Our waiter took care of Everything! His helper was just as attentive! The atmosphere was nice and pleasant. Being a Friday lunch, there were suits, Jeans, and coveralls? place was packed, but you couldn’t tell by the noise. Itwas just a roaring hum!
This was our first experience with 2 Johns as we came to celebrate my wife's 66th birthday. It was out standing from the beginning to the end. The only thing we needed was more room for more of the excellent cuisine.
Service and food were great it was the appearance that lost me it was so loud in there it felt like I was yelling at my wife so she could hear me and it was our anniversary so you expect a dim lighted place it wasn’t very romantic at all
I've never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service at 2 Johns. However, the place bills itself as a fine dining restaurant but it is always crowded and loud. Two things that a fine dining restaurant is not. When I think of fine dining, I think of quiet dining (soft music possibly; it could be live). Unencumbered spaces between tables so that you don't have to zig-zag around to navigate the restaurant, and soft or low lighting, 2 Johns is loud and crowded with bright lights, but the food and service are great.
Birthday dinner. Our waiter Greg was entertaining and very efficient. Loved his wine knowledge and our trip to the wine cellar.

We enjoyed our first visit to 2Johns. It was a bit overpriced but both the seafood and the steak were very good. We wanted to hear Haley sing but it was way too noisy for that. Our server was very good and appropriately attentive; she knew the menu well and we could understand what she said, even with her mask on. My rainbow trout was the largest I have ever seen and was deliciously prepared. My wife had the Ponchartrain which was also excellent, though she couldn't come close to eating it all after having a delicious shrimp cocktail.

This was our first time to 2 John’s. We started at the bar with excellent prompt service and amazing custom cocktails and then moved to our table for an exquisite dinner where the streaks were cooked to perfection and far surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend the filet cooked to medium with Oscar style sauce. Our compliments to the chef Josh and the wait staff for taking such care of us throughout our time here.
Overall atmosphere was nice servers were great but noticed supervisor or owner greeted tables around us ask how was service were their food good but never came an asked us were we ok r concern of that nature so me an my bride on her birthday we address on entering so we felt out of place

I took my fiancee out for a nice date and it didn't disappoint. She loved the atmosphere and the food and so did I.
My Fiancée and I was celebrating recent events in our lives and decided to treat ourselves to some fine dining. From entering the building and leaving we were made to feel very special. Our waitress was awesome and very professional she took her time telling us the specials of the night and gave us time to decide. I can you this the drinks from the bar are not watered down based on my fiancée giggle meter. When we had finished our meal i assume the owner came over and spoke with us about our experience and how the food tasted he was a very nice man and was genially glad we came to dine with them. We both had steak and I just put my knife down and cut it with my fork it was that tender best I have ever had. I cant wait to celebrate there again.

This was my first time at 2Johns and my expectations were set by experiences I have had at Morton's in Chicago and our own Superior Steak House.
The butter was fresh and light.
The bread I don't think was fresh. It was like something from the Walmar Bakery.
The Calamari was good and presented well.
the service at the table was top notch though the waiter did tend to be a bit chatty and wanting for attention.
My wife's shrimp scampi was excellent and I do believe my 7oz filet was USDA prime.
It was cooked perfectly.
My only compliant is if you ware the premium dining experience why would you serve common potato and green beans? The red potatos looked smashed with skins and no flavor and the green beans were very average. And no garnish to the plate? Was it really that busy? Leave the potato and veggies off and put a nice rose garnish. Stand out, otherwise why would I make the drive to dine there? But a good attempt for Bossier but the price of the dinner did not meet expectations. $130 for 2 is better spent at superior.
The noise was extremely loud. The dining area sounded more like a bar.

The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I think the only thing better than the food was the customer service. I didn’t have to ask for anything not one time because our waiter and busser were on top of it. I don’t think I sat in front of a dirty dish or empty cup for a full 60 seconds.
As a first timer it was awesome. My wife and I have plans to return. We’ve finally found a restaurant that we both enjoy
Our credit cards have been compromised after dining on Friday night. Called to talk to owner but he doesn’t take calls, only the manager. She was extremely rude and didn’t even consider looking into the fact that she could have an employee taking credit card info. Very disappointed because this was our go to place for all special occasions.

My family and I enjoyed ourselves! Mrs. Stacy was our waitress and she was awesome, she took her time telling us what were the specials and answering any questions we had. Stefan was amazing as well, refilling our drinks and taking dishes from our table. We loved it!

I had been referred to 2Johns by a friend. I don’t regret it. Very nice restaurant and the service was excellent. One of the owners even came around and he was very humble and grateful for choosing 2Johns.
My wife and I went there for our 25th anniversary. The food was outstanding. We had shrimp and grits as an appetizer and I must say that was probably the best I have had and I have had them all over the state of Louisiana. We both had steaks and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I had the 14oz ribeye and the quality of the meat was great because there was no gristle and just enough fat to make it extra-good.
The service was great too.

I recommend 2 Johns as special occasion only, as it's rather pricey. The food is good, but be sure to ask questions about preparation - don't just assume. The service was good; the ambience just OK - the lights continually dimmed and brightened throughout the meal - don't know if that was a glitch or intentional. It was fairly noisy, partly because we were close to the bar area which got quite loud at times. I've been several times, and it's always very cold in the dining rooms - even in winter. Just an OK dining experience. For that kind of money, I much prefer Superior Steakhouse.
For a place that does steak it is strange to have the server ask you to cut into your steak to see if it’s cooked right. Wife’s steak was over done second steak she received was still alive and very cold center. The ambiance was very loud could not even hold a conversation probably because they were showing a basketball game in the bar area. Only saw our actual server once or twice we were mainly taken care of by the food runner/busser. For a $122.21 price tag I got a glass of wine, glass of scotch that was watered down but the price reflected that, wedge salad which was one of the best I have ever had, some bread, scalloped potatoes for two, grilled shrimp which was so salty I thought I would go into a hypertensive crisis and a perfectly cooked steak that was ruined by all the salt. With that being said I did not see a manager and didn’t pay for my wife’s steak but I absolutely love the $1.00 managers discount that was on my receipt. Hey if people like super salty and poorly cooked food then this is your place. If not don’t go but run far far away!!!!
Our waitress and the gentleman helping her both did a great job. They were very attentive and friendly. The owner stopped by to see how our meal was. Great experience as always.
