Even with the pandemic they continue to serve awesome Spanish fare with fantastic service. Pre-pandemic wonderful atmosphere with Spanish guitar player and warm and friendly ambiance. We look forward to that again in 2021

Spent a lovely, fall afternoon savoring a delectable assortment of tapas on the back patio to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Service was excellent - friendly, informative, and attentive. Thanks to the entire staff for whisking us away to Spain for the afternoon. Will be returning soon.

Took a moment to siege the day and enjoy a great meal with a bottle of wine, was raining and I’ll tell you the outside dining was still amazing! Thank you for the great food and service!

Great option for lunch, dinner, or special occasion. Love the gambas, paella, lamb chops, salads, almond cake, chocolate mousse. Too many other wonderful items on the menu to list. Nice outdoor dining during Covid - back patio and sidewalk tables.

Good for both the meat lovers and vegans in our party! Everything was excellent. Had both seafood and vegan paella. Will visit again!

This was absolutely incredible! The chorizo, lamb chops, chicken and vegetables were amazing! Even the tapas were amazing as well. Money well spent! I cannot wait to come back here.

The menu sounds authentic but the actual food didn’t taste authentically Spanish. The cheese plate is described as Spanish cheese, but we were given cheddar, Brie, Gouda and one Spanish cheese. I have made better gambas (garlic shrimp) at home. Service was okay, but not great. Started off rocky and this was the second time we tried this place. First time we left due to a bad attitude by front door staff (prepandemic).

We were seated outside facing L St on a Friday night. Every tenth car was a muscle car whose driver felt the need to rev his loud engine when passing by. Had I known I would have asked for a table on the back patio. As for the food, it did not blow me away, and it was expensive. The turnip soup was really bitter and my flan was not rich and creamy, but light and forgettable. My shrimp was good and my mushroom ravioli was okay. My husband rated his salmon dinner a B minus. My son really enjoyed his chorizo and the orange creme brûlée. He thought there was too much sauce on his potatoes, drowning them. Probably will not go back anytime soon.

Every dish is delicious! If you love seafood...each seafood dish is delicious! I love lamb and the lamb was tender and flavorful. I am only eating outdoors at this time and the back has an outside courtyard that is nice and intimate, candle lit at night.

Lovely wine, incredible food, friendly service. One of our favorites!

Food was fine, service was fine. There was nothing that really stuck out at me. I would eat here again but it would probably not be my first choice. Some of the food was truly very good, some of it was just ok - inconsistency.

I was looking forward to have Paella de mariscos and I was a bit disappointed. The flavors were not there. I feel that the elements were prepared separately and the plated together. The rice was flavorless. The beauty about Paella is that all the juices are captured in the rice.
The Mejillones a la creams were incredible

We dined outside, which we loved. It was like eating at an European restaurant. Since we cannot travel right now, I totally appreciated the European feel. I felt like I was a piazza in Rome!

It was our first time eating there and it was really good. We will be going back to try other things off the menu.

I love Aioli and am so glad we were able sit outside safely. Missed the bourek de casa, but can't wait to go back.

Our go-to date night spot. This was our first big outing since COVID and we were happy to see all of the tables outside. It was busier than we’ve ever seen it-which was great for the business. We thought perhaps service was slow because it was so busy and they were short staffed but overheard another table inquire as to the busy-ness and the server said it was like that most weekends. That being said they should then have more servers. We absolutely would’ve had more beverages. Our first round came after the food had started coming out. The second round came as dinner plates were being cleared.
The food is always a home run. Charcuterie. Lamb skewers. Beet salad. Watermelon salad. Gambas ...
Please go and make sure we support this longtime Sacramento gem!

Excellent food with a large variety of options. Despite being very busy, service was very good. Will definitely go agin.

Nick the waiter was always there on time to fill our drink order and was very quick to give us our first drink. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back.

Great service

Food was delicious. Ambience was romantic. We loved sitting at a table along the sidewalk, it reminded us of our time spent in Spain, sitting along a cobblestone street enjoying paella. Service was outstanding and fast. Overall the experience was everything we were hoping for. Thank you Aioli!

We had a very bad service. We did not have any plates, no silverware, no napkins when runner brought food to table. We were expecting better service.

Awesome Food & Service...

This has been a favorite restaurant for a long time. This was our first time to 'eat in' since the pandemic began. It was good to be back and be greeted by the staff. We had a new waitress and all was just as we had hoped and remembered.

Second time dining here and it was fabulous. The food is delicious and the service is great. I love sitting on the patio by the fountain, very soothing. All items were perfect!

Dinner at Aioli is always great... the food and service is always top notch. This was the first time dining there during the pandemic, and dining outdoors on the front sidewalk was not an issue. Even with the smaller menu, there were still a number of specials, and we tried numerous new items which we have not had before. The variety of dishes, and the pacing of the food was perfect. We were shocked to see the final bill.... not that it was too high, but so low and reasonable. For these reasons, Aoli is a favorite restaurant.

Amazing Dining experience!!! Absolutely fabulous dishes with superb service. Great job with maintaining Covid-19 precautions. My husband and I had such an enjoyable dining experience!!

Our hostess and waiter were very attentive and efficient. They showed great poise and communication. The male manager with longer dark hair was a bit obnoxious, his conversations bleed into our table. Wonderful food/energy/timely....we're very happy. Thank you for the your inquiry.
