Amelia's Trattoria

We have been coming to Amelia's for probably 20 years. They have never disappointed. The food is always great, the people very welcoming.

We had a lovely evening. The staff is trying very hard to follow new rules while trying to run their kitchen and serve their clients. Everything did take longer than before the pandemic but we are all learning together. We appreciate all their effort and having a lovely meal on their patio during a beautiful summer night.

My wife and I have been frequenting Amelia's for special occasions for the last 4 years. The service and food have always been top quality. It is our favorite Italian restaurant in Cambridge. They have a very good social distancing set up for outdoor seating currently, and we received the same experience we expected.

Staff was incredibly helpful and on their game first day back after opening. Food was next level tasty!! All plates were cleared and no leftovers to bring home. Would recommend to everyone that likes a good Italian dish!

We had a wonderful Friday night dinner at Amelia’s. Family time. Delicious food. Attentive service. Intimate ambiance. Everyone had a great time. The highlights were the Sausage Bolognese and the Negronis.

Excellent. The bolognese was the best. Ceasar salad was the best. Martini's need to be filled to the brim. Don't cheat your guests.

Very nice restaurant. The menu could be slightly expanded. I has pasta vongole... tasted excellent. portion was on the small side for $24. We would return.

Hands down best food in the area, besides Sulmona of course. The service was beyond perfection. Every time the servers approached the table they had a smile on their face! The food came in a timely manner and was warm and delicious. I would eat here everyday if I could! My husband and I enjoyed the sweet pea arancini, calamari, lobster ravioli special, steak frites, tiramisu and homemade vanilla gelato. We can not wait to go back again!

The decor is wonderful, warm, intimate, attractive. It feels like being in Europe. The food is delicious, with a variety to accommodate everyone, and the service thoughtful, pleasant and unobtrusive. A very nice way to spend a couple of hours,

A nice quiet little bistro. Excellent ribeye steak...a very nicely done grilled salmon. Friendly, prompt service. Small place. Quiet.

Many times at this lovely trattoria, and always happy with all ingredients. However, our last experience was more minimalistic in terms of offerings around each dish + my Vongole were not that good (freshness + cooking itself). I would stick with strong and steady classics toward the veggie and meaty sections of the menu.

Sweet little restaurant with amazing food. The arancini are not to be missed! I’m still dreaming of them. I went with friends and have been here with coworkers in the past, would be a good date spot.

Very good food. High quality ingredients. A bit tight and very noisy. Great for social , but tough for business discussions.

Food was delicious, portions were very generous, service was outstanding, friendly, informative but not overbearing or the least bit snooty. Helped in recommending dishes and also assisted in wine choice. We only shared an appetizer and had our main courses, but were way too full to attempt dessert, so cannot comment on that.

Ambiance was very nice, restaurant is small and intimate, but never felt crowded or too noisy, despite eating on a Saturday evening. Our reservation was at 6pm, strongly recommend making advance reservations as the tables filled up by 7pm.

Will definitely be back for another evening there, to try more stuff from their menu.

Very disappointed. The disappointment started even with the bread that was served cold. The Pinot Noir tasted odd. The short rib Ragu was not what it used to be. Seafood pappardelle special was satisfactory.

The food and wine were wonderful. The waitstaff were excellent. My only complaint is that they have one table too many. They were squeezed so tightly together that I actually could not pull out my chair more than three inches. We had to push our table forward in order to sit down. Everything we ate was delicious!

One of our favorite restaurants but they seemed off their game tonight. One main of wild mushroom pasta with chicken was delicious. Other Main of salmon and fettuccine had no flavor - bland, under seasoned, swimming in a pool of tomato and oil - unpleasant. Not asked if we wanted black pepper and when we asked, got an old-fashioned pepper bottle with old pepper. Asked for Parmesan and received a cup of ‘shop bought parmesan’ worst meal at Amelia and a disappointment to a special evening.

It was a slow cold night, we were able to seat 6 people with a 45 minutes advance on the reservation. everyone had a delicious meal and commented that they would definitely return. We were able to park right across the street at the metered spaces. Very nice Montepulciano for $41.00

We are never disappointed at Amelia’s. The food is always delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The theatre is nearby so it makes for a perfect movie dinner night!!

Great little spot in a Cambridge I had the Pasta Norma, which was delicious. Waiter recommended adding meatballs and they did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

I was still eating my starter when the main dish was already brought to the table. It all felt very rushed. The food was ok. I had the grilled octopus as a starter and I really liked it. As a main dish I had the ravioli of the night, which were alright - they used to be much better.

Fantastic food. The staff seemed overwhelmed but were very friendly.
