Fabulous steaks and service... off the beaten track but well worth a visit

Unsere Gerichte waren sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Die Portionen waren gut. Das Fleisch war gut gereift, sehr zart, super lecker und gut gebraten. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Haben lange nicht mehr so gut Steaks gegessen. Dankeschön für diesen tollen Abend

Wow wat een geweldig restaurant. Ooit in NY geweest maar deze steak was van een andere dimensie. Super bediening en buitengewoon gezellig.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Reservation was easy to make online and a very nice table was reserved for us as requested. Food was good too.
Atmosphere was warm and romantic.
Enjoyed and would recommend it.

Wir waren für den Geburtstag meines Freundes dort. Er hat sogar ein gratis Dessert gekriegt und man hat für ihn gesungen. Alles war absolut perfekt. Die Bedingung war die absolute Oberklasse. Es hätte nicht besser sein können.

Looked for a good Steakhouse while on holiday in Berlin. This was worth the 29 mins walk in the cold. Amazing steaks and Prawn starter

All good but reservation we did on opentable was not on their books

We were traveling from the US and saw outstanding reviews of this place so we booked a reservation to try it out. The only disappointment was the staff. They assumed Americans don’t speak the language but I knew enough to know they were talking about us and how they didn’t want to wait on Americans. When we finally got our server he was a little rude and bothered that he was our waiter. Outside of that the food was very good. I ordered a filet Mignon cooked medium. I would suggest if you like it more on the pink side order medium rare. Mine was a little over cooked. Still good just not as I would have preferred. Salad, sides, wine and bread were all very delicious. If you are American, set your expectations. We left a very geneours tip to hopefully show that all Americans aren’t difficult patrons.

Found this on TripAdvisor and thought it would be worth a visit. It was early so not busy. The steaks were excellent and good value for money. The service was very good as well.

Fleisch zart und perfekt gebraten (Entrecote).
Freundliche professionelle Bedienung.
Aussenbereich für meinen Geschmack nicht so einladend. Drinnen rustikal…aber ok.

Tolle Hauptgerichte, besonders das Iberico-Schwein.
Auf die künstliche Sprühsahne beim dessert kann gern verzichtet werden.

I booked this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately on arrival we were advised that they couldn’t take cards, so I was directed to a cash machine 3 blocks away. The food was poor. Steaks were fibrous, and wine list minimal. Despite advising the restaurant of my wife’s birthday, this was not mentioned. Very disappointing and certainly not worth the trip or money. Would not recommend.

Das essen war sehr lecker. Die Steaks (2 mal T Bone und ein Filletsteak) waren wie gewünscht zubereitet. Die Preise waren angemessen. Der Service war zuvorkommend. Zusammengefasst ein gutes Steakhouse ohne viel Schnickschnack.

All was good. The food was delicious. It was a bit noisy outside, but noise level inside was moderate. The ambiance there was perfect and design as well, especially in the right side of the restaurant. But there is only one complaint about waiter: she was very polite with us, but she came to us twice during the dinner. We had to go to the bar for a question, for Wi-Fi password, for a bill, and our empty plates were on the table until we went outside. Never the less I would recommend this place, closing my eyes on this insignificant staff. The proportions of price/quality is very good!

Das Essen war wie gewohnt gut. Wir kamen uns jedoch irgendwie unerwünscht vor. Am Eingang wurden uns nicht wie sonst die Jacken abgenommen. Unser Kellner verbreitete extrem schlechte Stimmung. Er knallte Teller auf den Tisch und reagierte fast patzig. Da wir das bislang so nicht gewohnt waren, bleibt unklar ob wir wiederkommen. Die Preise haben meines Erachtens auch angezogen. Für zwei Hackbällchen in Tomatensauce (Albondigas) € 4,50 zu verlangen ist schon fast dreist.

Best steaks we have had in ages. Good service, but a little slow. Friendly staff, speak perfect English. Would go back, and highly recommend.

Even on a Tuesday night in the middle of the month the restaurant was very busy, with a great atmosphere (not too lively!)
