Beatrix - Streeterville
Everything was good. Four star for food because I ordered the roasted cauliflower salad which tasted great but wish there was more cauliflower in it! Overall, great and would go again and still would order the same dish again!
Great place for delicious and healthy lunch!
Great food a d great place!
Most of their reviews focus on their breakfast, but I had a lovely dinner for one at Beatrix. I had the day’s special - Cuban Chicken - which was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and flavorful and just the right portion size. They have a lot of natural juices and sodas. I tried the Cucumber Mint soda which was refreshing. Overall, this is a nice little spot!
Food & Service were both spectacular!!
I was disappointed in the food and server was rather brusque . Normally the food has been good but salad was dry, had to ask for more dressing . French fries were cold .
Superb all the way around. A real treat!
Always consistent with food quality and service!
Phenomenal food and service!
Had a reservation and didn’t get seated for 15 minutes. Then once we were seated we waited for 30 minutes and a waitress never came, even after reminders that we were there.
It was a bit loud. The grilled chicken wasn’t that good on the salads. The kale salad was good. The hummus and pita was delicious. We had to keep asking for water. The best part was dessert.
Better place for lunch.
Really delicious fresh and healthy food, incredibly friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed it all!
Food and Kira were great and we were surprised how good the food is!
While the service was good, there was nothing special about the meal. The food was just OK. We shared several appetizers and entrés family style.
Beatrix - streeterville is a good place to meet up for lunch if in the area.
would go back and would recommend.
would not make a special drive.
Excellent service and always looking to be better. Management has great attention to detail.
Very impressed with quick seating and attentive waiting on a busy Sunday. Food was good, but service was better: friendly and efficient. Has a somewhat unconventional and limited breakfast menu. (Kale for breakfast?) Great for hipsters though.
Great server! Eggs, toast and sausage were cold. Lots of loud kids. The lemon pancakes were very good.
I left my credit card and the staff was nice enough to call later that night and let me know I could pick it up from the manager. Otherwise, will not be back. Service, other than that was poor, and food was mediocre.
Food was very good as always. Our server wasn’t very sociable or friendly - that was the only downfall
Very good food & service.
The new Honey Burnt Chicken is wonderful.
Service was extremely slow. Our drinks didn’t hit the table until our food was out. No upselling for appetizers were offered. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks throughout dinner.
I would recommend 2 servers for better service if a party of 9 is too much for one person to handle.
Great menu for brunch, with unique foods from the simple, to the more complex. A bit noisy, but fine for mid-day.
Good and interesting menu - have enjoyed brunch and dinner
Seated next to kitchen for dinner - chicken and steak entrees were great
Crab cake was just ok - fries were amazing 😋
Brunch items were all fantastic
Me and my family went to Chicago for one week, we decided to go there and it was a great choice! The noice level was perfect, the food came super quick, out waitress was very nice and funny, and there drinks were amazing.
It was a wonderful Chicago early evening to sit outside. Great ambience and food.
My egg white omelette was perfect, seasonal fruit drink very refreshing,.
Not sure why (because I had a reservation) but when I arrived I was asked to sit at a high top. I requested a standard table when I made the reservation. Then I was seated near the kitchen, which was very loud, but I observed approximately 6 empty tables in more desirable places that remained empty for the duration of my meal.
Our server as well as the manager were very helpful with my sons food allergies (peanut/treenut). Food was excellent. I would highly recommend Beatrix.
Outstanding food. Definitely will visit again.
One of Chicago's best. I highly recommend it and recommend a reservation..
Food was excellent. The blue mimosa was a let down, one it wasn't blue and if it did have blueberries in it, it was maybe a dash. Service was slow and I understand it is a busy brunch place but we sat and waited for our drinks for way to long and got the bar got slammed which is lame. Then get another bartender to support. Then it took like 20 minutes to get the bill and we had to flag the server down. If it wasn't for the quality of the food it so wouldn't have been worth the time.
Fantastic ambiance, great service, and delicious food. Definitely recommend this place for brunch! Try the pot roast sandwich and the lemon pancakes!
Excellent experience, we had a great server, wonderful food and friends.
Food was amazing! Server was excellent! Reservation, but had to wait a bit, the kind manager sent over an appetizer on the house. Highly recommend the ravioli and the eggplant steak!
Had a wonderful time and our server was very friendly!
We enjoyed our first visit. The "Straight A" salad went well with the warm complementary nan (by request only, apparently). Wine pours were on the shy side and entrees took quite a long while to arrive, but our server (Devin) was friendly and a well informed guide to the menu. The (chocolate chili) salmon dish is a nice DIY alternative to the usual, accompanied by great house made cole slaw the only disappointment was that I found the salmon overcooked and dry. My wife enjoyed her chicken dish. The following day we stopped in for a take out rugelach (which looked appealing in a pastry case by the bar), but left without it after an extended wait. We might return (esp. to dine outdoors), but the area is loaded with excellent options.
Great service by server Jeremy Mendoza. Smiled as he took care of our needs. Lots of gluten free options. Would have like some cracker type gluten free options like Ema has rather than pita. Coffee was not the best tasting. Took home some gluten free coffee cake. Would have liked a quiche type option or egg choice. I like breakfast type food for lunch.
Say outside for a birthday lunch! We all had great salads, we split the friends, and the one child had the chicken nuggets. Everyone was satisfied with the lunch! Ended with a birthday treat, which was supper yummy!! Overall great meal and would definitely recommend for lunch any day of the week!
