Never disappoints great food great staff

Bici is an EXCELLENT BYO restaurant. The service is great and the food is so good. Everything is home made and you can tell. The pastas are delicious!

When we come back to the US we will definitely go back to Bici. Great dinner one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. The owner came to our table to check on us and to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you Bici!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Everything about it is outstanding, and Marcelo, the owner, is the best.

My husband & I were first time diners as we went with friends we frequent. Food was delicious - loved the sea scallops! Marcello (the owner) was charming and really cared about every diners experience. Service was good and never felt rushed. It was a bit loud as they had a very large party of women, but from what I understand that is not normal for them to do (large parties). I would definitely go back.

This is such a cute local place. The service is excellent and the food was really delicious. The ambiance is very romantic- great for a date night! You can tell that the owners really care about the customer experience. If I were to give it some critiques just to make it a better place I would say that 1. I noticed that the noise level in the room was not great - they may want to address the acoustics in that room. 2. The lighting. I like a dimly lit restaurant but in this case i think the lighting was a but too dim. We couldn’t read our menus at all without our phone flashlights. lol

I was looking for a place to meet a friend from New York. He drove 45 minutes and I drove about an hour and a half. I am delighted that we chose Bici as the food was spectacular. Very clean, quiet place to eat for lunch. Highly recommended for dinner.

My spouse and I dine out often and always find time to go back to the good ones. Even though Bici is a half hour away from my house, its worth it. We were a table of 4 on Saturday night and every one thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We split some some appetizers which included their daily homemade Gnocchi. It's flat out some of the best you'll ever have. At the recommendation of the host I had a veal chop that was perfect on all accounts. The service was friendly and attentive as usual which completes the dining experience. Until the next time............

My husband and I went on a date night at Bici. We had a lovely evening - the service was superb, the owner checked in with us a few times through the evening and referred to us by name as we were leaving, thanking us for coming. It’s a tiny restaurant - reservations seem necessary and it is BYOB. The affogato dessert is a nice touch, and the owner told us the story of how it wound up in the menu. Very family oriented place, friendly, vibrant crowd. The food was delicious and well-prepared. Parking is in the back, in case you can’t find street parking. I had trouble choosing between menu items, so I’ll have to go back to try something new.

This place is great! The food is excellent. The menu is creative and all ingredients were fresh. But the greatest test is that the bread is awesome and the tomato sauce was perfecto!!!

For several years, Bici has been my favorite local restaurant. (I live in Ridgewood.). The menu is creative, and the preparation and presentation are superb. On a recent visit, my friend and I shared a delicate and delicious calamari and arugula salad dressed with a fresh cigarette. My entree was the gnocchi with a lamb ragu— light as air but thoroughly satisfying. My friend savored a risotto primavera. A triumph. But the food alone is only part of what makes Bici special. The staff is welcoming, and the owner is an amicable restauranteur, who visits every table to share culinary anecdotes. He communicates a genuine desire to please his clientele. For this frequent visitor, he and his charming restaurant have never failed to please.

Hi enjoyed Bici overall. I like the BYOB aspect. While it was busy on a Saturday night, our reservation was ready for us on time. Our service was excellent and we weren’t rushed.

We had the Malfatti, which was good. It didn’t blow me away, but I enjoyed it. We also had the fried calamari salad. Also the same that it was good, but I wasn’t blown.

We split the Chianti risotto. It was cooked nicely, but again- was good, not great.

We took home the Tiramisu and it was excellent! Our waiter threw in a cannoli for my husband at no cost and it was also excellent.

Our main meals were the short ribs which were great and the mushroom fettuccine, which could have been great it if had a touch more salt.

We would go back to Bici, but I do think that night all of our food were just missing a hit of salt or seasoning. The service was impeccable.

Buratta appetizer was excellent along with arugula salad. NY strip seasoned and cooked to perfection. Fettuccine was also superb! Ended with orange glaze carrot cake.
Everything was perfect , Marcelo is a great host, and Graham our sever made superb recommendations.

Excellent all the way around, highly recommend

Second time to this restaurant. We had to change our reservation from 4 to 2 since our friends bailed on us and the hostess was very accommodating. The food was very good. They allowed us to split some appetizers without a hassle. Saturday night and not really rushed. We definitely go again.

Absolutely fabulous dinner date with my wife. We tried for the first time and everything was amazing. I had the special - Rib eye steak - and my wife had the short ribs on the menu. Capped it with some refreshing gelato. Service and staff was friendly. We will be back!

Made a reservation for lunch based on the Lunch menu shown on the Open Table site. This is not the menu the Maitre D presented to us, it was a more limited selection. We selected from that short menu and I must say we were not disappointed in the quality served, but regretted not to have had the "Lunch" Menu originally offered. Service was prompt.

Great food, nice ambiance but extremely expensive. It is not an everyday dining kind of place. It beats Cafe Panache across the street in terms of prices. Other than that, it is really a nice place and the food is exquisite. Great for special occasions.

The food and service are exceptional. One of the best places for dining in Bergen County. If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely try it. Be sure to meet the owner-chef Marcello.

Third time there and they are batting 100%. That’s a very hard thing to accomplish in the restaurant business, especially from a customer point of view.
