    Service was ok, waitress was friendly and helpful. Understood it was Thanksgiving and a lot of diners were out. My only complaint was we ordered our dinner with an appetizer, salad came first, halfway thru salad, then our dinner arrived. Then we received our appetizer while we were having dinner. Should have had appetizers, salad then dinner not the other way around.

    I want there for my thanksgiving dinner.. Took quite a while to get the food. They were extremely busy first plate came out cold, second plate lukewarm.. I was open for better food. I don't think they were expecting it to be quite so busy..

    As expected it was very busy on Thanksgiving, but thankfully I made reservations. However, even with the reservation I still had to wait approximately 25 minutes before being seated. The food was overall good. Most of my party, including myself, ordered the Thanksgiving special. The food with the Thanksgiving special was very good. My daughter ordered the filet mignon; it was very undercooked.

    Great food and they weren’t shy about filling the large plate. I took a lot home for tomorrow’s dinner. We go here every year and have not been disappointed yet.

    It was extremely busy on the holiday. Once we sat down our server was there and took order and we receive our soup and bread and then waited 60 minutes for our Thanksgiving dinner to arrive. There was no explanation as to the reason for the delay and no compensation offered. Other larger groups were getting their dinners minutes after they sat down. And we were seated before them. Our party of two had to wait the 60 minutres with us asking where our meal was. This was not the server's fault...but I think the kitchen was was not organized very well.

    This was our second time going on Thanksgiving. The staff did a good job considering the amount of people there. We will go again next year. Food and cocktails yummy.

    The food and service was excellent. The staff were busy(It was Thanksgiving, totally understandable)but pleasent. They gave us reassurance to check on us if we were doing okay. I recommend this place for holiday Lunch or Dinner. Reservation is a plus to save you longer waits please use OpenTable.     The people working at Black Angus on Thanksgiving day were working as hard and quickly as they could. It was astonishing to watch them working so well as a team and making sure each customer had what they wanted. Nicely done!

    I love the Thanksgiving turkey dinner at Black Angus. We had to wait a bit to be seated as there were so many people there for the holiday, but once we were at a table we were taken care of quickly. The server even refilled my iced tea a couple of times, despite being so busy. I would definitely recommend Black Angus for Thanksgiving dinner.

    We booked for Thanksgiving dinner. There were crowds of people. We probably had to wait 40-45 minutes past our reservation to be seated. I think they overbooked. Once we got to our table it was good. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, even though he was very busy. The drinks were good, although watered down. We all ordered the turkey dinner, which was a decent price. The food was warm and good.

    We had a reservation but it was much busier than usual. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. We had excellent service and food was delicious. Service with Vivany was superb.

    My husband and I had our second date at the Santa Ana Black Angus so we felt it only fitting to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary there last night. We had an outstanding dinner. The service was great, the food was so delicious and our server, Jocelyn was fabulous. To top off our dinner, Jocelyn made it very special with a cowboy cookie and ice cream to celebrate. We really enjoyed the evening at our special restaurant.

    Our server was great. We went in before the dinner rush and it was really quiet. The campfire feast is always a great value and you get your money's worth on top of that. My favorite is always the mac and cheese. I'm not a big steak eater but they always seem to cook my well done steak to be juicy and not dry.

    Service was extremely slow for not being busy and the steak was room temperature. Had to return the steak and potatoes. Manager came over to apologize for horrific service and cold food.

    We are regulars, but tonight was not a good night. We ordered our dinners which included New York Strip Steaks for both of us. When they states came they looked pretty good but both steaks were very tough and full of grizzle. We commented to the waitress and a manager came by. She offered to provide new steaks, which she did for my wife. I really had lost my taste. The new steak for my wife was excellent and they were very apologetic. We noticed that a lady at another table had also sent her steak back. This is not the regular quality of their steaks.

    The service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating and checked on us often. The campfire feast used to be a great value… But now it’s getting a little pricey. A discount on a second ‘feast’ made it more affordable. It was a great way to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday… Plus she had a cowbell and balloons to go home with (from the celebration package).

    I had eaten at Black Angus since the 80’s, so over the years it’s not as great as it used to be. Used to have a dark ambience with tented windows around each booth, the food was still hot. Oh the days… now you can’t even get a dinner salad before your dinner, because it’s considered part of the side dish with extra cost. The meat is tough to cut. So I leave you this…it was just okay like going to a Denny’s for my birthday. Which by the way I put on my reservation, and was not offered a standard birthday dessert.
