    Food was proper temperature and cooked perfectly. There was a large variety and quantity on the brunch bars even though we arrived just 15 minutes before restaurant stopped allowing guests to obtain brunch entrance. The staff continued to replace food portions throughout our entire time there. The waitress was very attentive in removing dishes and asking if we needed anything. Love the cheesy grits, thai wings, shrimp with onion, shrimp salad, and biscuits. Get the carrot cake too!

    The seafood is always so good here. I especially appreciate that they split your entree on separate plates when you are sharing a meal! Great service and great food.

    Wasn’t sure what to expect as it had been years since dined at Bristol but should not have been worried because was fantastic all the way around! Great service, delicious food and dining for an early lunch meant not crowded or noisy.

    Our server was efficient, but not especially friendly. Two of us ordered grilled fish, which had little flavor. The mashed potatoes were very good, as were the biscuits. The carrots as a side dish were soggy. We have higher expectations of Bristol based on many previous visits.

    Went for a 60th birthday dinner. They had written a nice birthday note to me and gave me a free dessert. Had the scallops which were amazing! My husband's Mahi Mahi special looks delicious as well. Great place for a celebratory meal!

    Went for an Anniversary dinner. Greeted by hostess acknowledging the celebration! Service was fantastic and the food was awesome! Thank you for the comped dessert too! We will be back soon!

    It was a great meal in every respect. The service was excellent. We do wish you would feature that marvelous chocolate bread pudding again....but the lava cake is scrumptious.

    Overall, average. We were frequent visitors to the Sunday brunch buffet and were bummed when it stopped and THRILLED when it came back. We noticed on the promotion the price was about 33% higher than we remembered it being but understood the many factors that have changed over time so we made our reservations with excitement. Unfortunately, it's not quite the same buffet. Nothing was better than we remembered it and a few things were missing. No more eggs benedict/poached eggs, no more delicious rice gumbo. They did add bacon to the hot line which made my husband happy. The dessert bar was lacking in the homemade cookie selection and the two offered looked and tasted like cheap store bought treats, we missed the creme anglise and the beef wasn't a high quality. We were glad the strawberries and shrimp remained. But we didn't feel great about the jump in price and the slight lowering of food quality and selection. All staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back. But we weren't wowed.

    I used to love coming to Bristol for lunch on full menu. Was very disappointed that a Buffet was offered and even more disappointed that the food and quality was terrible.

    This is our first time back to the Bristol for Sunday Brunch in a few years. It’s wonderful again!! And we celebrated our anniversary too!! Everyone is very nice and the food is out of this world.

    We went for my spouse’s birthday and it was a truly amazing experience. Our server Daniel was excellent. He was knowledgeable and attentive. His recommendations were spot on. We started with the sampler platter. For our mains, I had the lump crab cakes and my spouse had the crusted tuna. Everything we had was as absolutely delicious. I also recommend the spicy blackberry margarita. We finished with a complimentary crème brule. The whole staff was friendly. We will certainly be back.

    The ambiance of Bristol is top notch! That's what keeps us coming back. The service is always good, sometimes excellent. The food, however, has become increasingly disappointing. It's not BAD, but for the price it's quite lackluster. For instance, I ordered the lobster roll for lunch; it came on Texas toast, and the lobster salad was unimaginative and under seasoned. My husband ordered a pasta dish that garnered a "Meh" response when I asked how he liked it. When we first started visiting Bristol, the food was AMAZING. For a dining experience at this price point, it should ALWAYS be amazing.

    Our Thanksgiving meal at The Bristol was very good. The starters were good. Each on in our party had a different starter: a Salad, Lobster Bisque, and Butternut Squash Soup. Each one was very satisfied with their choice. Following that we had the traditional holiday dinner which included turkey breast slices, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, and orange-cranberry dressing. The food was mostly great. The turkey was moist and tender, the mashed potatoes and dressing were good, but needed some more gravy. The green beans were abundant, but were very tough and undercooked. Two of us ordered alcoholic drinks. I had a vodka martini which the server filled from a shaker to the very rim, which made the glass awkward and hard to drink from without spilling. Had I noticed how she was pouring, I would have stopped her and asked to leave the shaker at the table. We finished our dinner with dessert, which was merely ok except for the fresh fruit, which was good.
