It was a perfect ending to an era and for my birthday celebration. All celebratory occasions were spent at Campagnolo! Big moves, promotions, birthdays. Sad to see them go. None of the other restaurants are as wonderful and consistent as campagnolo is for food and service.
So sad they are closing. This was my favorite restaurant. Bye!
Second time at Campagnolo, was honestly unimpressed. The portions got cut in half from the last time we visited in February and we noticed that other couples were treated better based on how much they ordered. Not a good way lasting impression to have of Campagnolo before its close in June.

I am going to miss eating here! The spaghetti amatriciana, burrata cheese with grapes and bread, and the bone marrow are the hits. My husband and I had a fantastic meal here right before it closed. I hope those menu items find their way onto the menus of the sister restaurants!
Sad to have heard this place is closing for good June 1, glad I got one more meal in, a true favourite of mine.

This is likely to be my final meal at Campagnolo, since they're closing at the end of the month -- and it was as good as it's ever been, which just makes me regret not going more often. It was a pleasure to know the place.
I would recommend to friends but Campagnolo will be permanently closed in June.
Everything is very good but don't skip on the spaghetti all'Amatriciana.
We enjoyed a beautiful dinner on Mothers Day! I have been to Campagnolo many times and would go back again and again. It is unfortunate that they will close their doors soon but I look forward to their next food venture! I’ll be there 😊

The only thing that would have made eating there perfection? LESS noise so diners do not have to shout at each other.

Food was incredible! The burrata is craveable and the agnolotti was delicious.
Our main course took far to long to arrive. The main course was edible, but not delightful in any way.

The burrata with grapes was absolutely fantastic!!! I can’t say enough good words to say how happy I was with this.
The spaghetti amatriciana was disappointing. It was salty and underwhelming. I had my 2 friends taste it in case it was me, they also found it to be salty and not worthy to be in Campagnolo. I didn’t return it because by the time I split the meal with my 2 other friends so they could taste it, there were 3 forkfuls left. Not worth returning to the kitchen for. I’m just not ordering this again.
The pavlova meringue dessert was meh, maybe I chose the wrong dessert. It was regular at best. I tasted the agnolotti and the cannelloni and they were also just OK. Overall, the burrata is worth going back to Campagnolo for!

Frozen pasta from the supermarket taste better than the pasta they served us, it was really bad
Music was terrible 80s rock all night long. Was very distracting.
Giro d'Italia is a great promotion for Italian restaurants in Toronto, recognizing after so many years of mediocre generic menus that the strength of the cuisine is in its unique regional specialties. The long-running Winter and Summerlicious events were becoming tired, with small portions and tired offerings common. Giro was to be the antidote to all that!
That being said Campagnolo needs to up its game. Their Sardinian menu covers some of the classics of the cuisine: mallorredus, culurgiones, seadas, lamb, octopus etc. But the execution and portion size fall short. The tomato passata with the culurgiones was sharply acidic and under-seasoned, ruining a pretty dish. The wafer thin slice of octopus terrine delivered only in looks next to a soggy salad. The lamb and accompaniment was cold, even if its portion size was adequate. In contrast the calamari ripieni, more appropriately calamaro, was a single small cefalopod dully seasoned, a lone petal of grilled onion, and a tidal surge of red pepper puree dominating the plate. This was presented as a main plate. The dessert seadas was a tooney-sized fried raviolo, tough and uninteresting, accompanied by an excellent yogurt gelato and some fruit.
Generosity of spirit is the essence of Italian cuisine, along side simplicity and balance. The server did her best, brought us extra bread, was attentive and charming, but could not really address the ssues with the menu.
These comments are meant with respect for I have long admired the style and ambition of the restaurant and it's Chef/owner.
Food was decent, but not the best Italian I've had in the city. Service was ok. Very loud inside, had to yell to be heard.
We were really looking forward to celebrating a special birthday at Campagnolo based on a friends outstanding review. While he was there in mid March and the current menu on-line hadn't changed, we knew what we wanted to order. However, once there we discovered the menu had changed...initially disappointed however the waitress guided us to popular items from salad to entrees so we were hopeful.
As we waited for our food to arrive, the music blared loudly immediately above our table to the point where we had to ask for it to be lowered. The folks at the table next to us, thanked us for saying something. Our waitress interacted with us and put our food on the table like we were at a fast food joint...no mention of the special birthday even though I had noted it on the reservation.
The Fennel Citrus salad was enjoyable. The house-made SPAGHETTI ALL’AMATRICIANA which apparently was made with a variety of ingredients turned out to be a nothing-special pureed tomato sauce...no pieces of anything in it. The SEARED STRIPED BASS was also just okay...nothing special.
Personally won't be running back there any time soon.
Modern italian with some classic flavours and plenty of style on the plate! Great place for a small group to chill out on a sunday.
Campagnolo is, in my opinion the best italian restaurant in the city of Toronto. I love it there.

Appetizers were delicious, pasta was tasty but could have been better if served hotter.

The bone marrow is a must! Ambiance was great apart from the awkward table of two beside us who did more Instagramming than eating.
Campagnolo was my FAVOURITE restaurant in Toronto for years. I brought a friend there on last Thursday night to introduce him to the restaurant and the signature dish (cheese and grapes) about which I am always raving. This was the first time I was disappointed in the food. We both got our appetizer awash in olive oil. The bread was not brushed with olive oil as the recipe demands - it was absolutely soaked in it and there was olive oil at the bottom of the entire plate. It sat so heavy on our stomachs that we both had digestive problems that evening. 2 glasses of wine and 2 appetizers for around $90 and a stomach upset. I wouldn't do that again. I recommended Campagnolo to many of my friends, but after this experience, I would not be so eager.
The food choices had several good and interesting items, although were limited in the overall number available. Also. the polenta was creamy and excellent, but being paired with the bitter radicchio did not produce a good balance. Awaiting your new menu. Very pleasznt and relaxed atmosphere.
From the time we finished our apps to getting our main it took over an hour. We ordered two apps and two pastas. I’ve eaten there 5 times and this time was the worst. Kitchen was so slow.
I enjoyed our service and the ambiance at Campagnolo but it fell short in the food department for me. I am a huge fan of the overall experience at La Palma and was expecting the same level of flavours to come through in the dishes at Campagnolo (their sister restaurant). The cocktails were delicious though!
Nice sort of formal setting, a bit too dark, and noisy when it fills up which it did. Our waiter was witty, professional and relaxed adding to the overall pleasant experience. The menu is limited and wine list very limited and rather pricey. What will get us back is the FOOD. The apps, mains, and dessert were right up there with the best fine dining Italian restaurants in Toronto.
This place never disappoints! If you haven't been yet, go.
Cozy little restaurant! Definitely a must try. Our service was great, ambiance was on point, not too loud and the music was at the right volume.
Food was delicious. Everything I expected! Highly recommend getting the in-house made bread and olives. It was a great way to start the meal. The mushroom crepe we had as a starter was amazing and the cavatelli pasta emtree was just right. Overall, I definitely would recommend this restaurant!
Second time at this place and they don't disappoint! Food is always delicious and cocktails are creatively put together giving very unique flavours. And the ambience is simple but wonderful!
