Meine Tochter und ich waren zum Frühstücksbuffet dort. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die angebotenen Speisen gut. Leider waren wir etwas spät und es wurden keine Speisen mehr aufgefüllt.

Moderately upscale restaurant in a more upscale hotel. As with many such restaurants they have to try to span a wide range of customer profiles and needs, three meals a day. Decent enough but if you are looking for true fine dining, look elsewhere. The lobby bar, however, does have a small selection of good ports and cognacs, even an Armagnac and a calvados. No Madeira.

Although the waiter was polite and helpful the service was so slow. We waited 15 mins before the waiter even came to the table to explain the menu and bring water. Another 10mins before a drink order came and 2 drinks took about 20 mins. It was a Thanksgiving buffet menu so soup and/or salad to start. I couldn't have the soup due to allergens but my husband had it and it was so thick. My steak was nice but I was missing some items but my husbands Turkey was dry and not tasty. Our starter dishes were not cleared away, so still in front of us when our mains were bought over and then they were still left sitting on the table. We were not offered another drink until our meal was nearly over so no point bearing in mind how long they took in the first place. I had a dirty cloth on the side next to me and a whole tray of dirty glasses and plates etc just behind us. This was the last night of our holiday and a disappointing last meal.

Not sure where to begin. When we arrived the host/hostess were arguing about tables that had been assigned. Once we were seated it took a few minutes for waiter to come by who promised us great service? We went up to get soup and salad, pasta salad bowl was empty. Once we finished our soup and salad the waiter came back and we ordered…he didn’t pick up plates. Every table around us was served warm bread (different waiter) however, we weren’t even offered bread. When dinner arrived my wife’s baked potato was cold as was asparagus . I asked the waiter for another, 10 min later, potato he returned with… was also cold! Water was never refilled. Then he delivered dessert, we still had soup/salad dishes on table as well as our dinner plates (including the the 2nd baked potato). The waiter then asked how the second potato was, i commented “still cold” he said it was kitchens fault he was going to have a firm conversation with chef! We were not able to do the standard Thanksgiving dinner served on the mezzanine as we were feeding the homeless at Westy’s. We hd made a point to book a room at The South’s Grand Hotel, room was awesome, staff was awesome! After dinner we did have a nice glass of wine in lobby which was great. I have eaten many a meal at Peabody and actually bring 200+ customers to a convention every March. I won’t let this 1 issue keep me from The Peabody just felt you should know of our experience.

We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner 6:30 pm. The menu was price fixe but had several selections in addition to the traditional turkey dinner. The server offered no comments about the menu as to what they maybe out of so we ordered the traditional turkey dinner. The plates came but were not the same one had sweet potatoes one did not, one had a large portion of dressing the other did not but neither had any gravy. When the server was asked about the gravy she said they were out. Thanksgiving dinner without gravy is not acceptable. If she had told us of this situation in the beginning we would have ordered something other than the turkey. But then the kitchen would have been left with a lot of turkey nobody wanted.

I left a full review about the poor experience my son and I had. For whatever reason it won’t publish. Tried twice. At the same time it wasn’t publishing, the GM called me. Hmm… Coincidence? She, Ashley, made matters worse. This woman is taking her business elsewhere. Will not return to a mismanaged, not woman friendly place.

We were disappointed. First we didn’t realize there would be a fixed menu. That was not mentioned on the website when we made our reservations. We were looking forward to ordering from the regular menu. Second, the fixed menu was overpriced. When the cost was $80 per person one would not expect the soup and salad courses to be served buffet-style. The main entree portions were generous. We will try it again to see how the regular menu is.

For $80/person for Thanksgiving, I was expecting MUCH more. The food was bland, tasteless. The stuffing was like eating soggy bread, no spices could be tasted. None! The yams were gross. The corn chowder was strange, like sweet corn mixed with heavy whipping cream and no spices. The desserts were disappointing and minimal. The only good things were the salad, green beans, and coffee. Waiter was friendly, but overly chatty with some tables virtually ignoring ours. This was the second bad meal I had there. I will never be back.

We were seated timely and the service was very good. The food quality, however, was dissapointing, compared to previous visits. My wife had the New York strip, which was grissley and tough. The baked potato was hard. Her dessert contained a hair, which was shown to our waitperson. She replaced the dessert

There were very many issues from beginning to end. We were told by valet attendant that valet parking would be validated inside, but were later informed that was not true after checking with a number of employees who kept directing us to others. Our server continuously gave us incorrect information such as a bottle of wine was 30% off that day which apparently it was not. He said he would space out our food but brought entrees less than five minutes after soup and salad. We sent entrees back to be brought later and asked for rolls/bread which he said restaurant did not serve. When the entrees were brought back later by another person, we asked her for bread which we were served. Shortly after our entrees arrived, another person came with our desserts. Those had to be returned as well so we could finish entrees and after we asked for table to be cleared for desserts. The restaurant was not at all crowded at the time we were there. I had made reservations several weeks in advance. We were extremely disappointed by poor service, miscommunications as well as completely incorrect information. We live in a city (Cincinnati) where we regularly eat out and travel frequently (generally every month-six weeks and have rarely if ever experienced such incompetence.

Dined here for thanksgiving with a special set menu for $80pp. Lovely waitstaff and atmosphere! Food was super average and not worth the money. Possibly their normal menu is better. Still a nice experience as the hotel is lovely.

The salad was fresh and fantastic! Beyond that, the food was lukewarm and not seasoned at all. The server could not keep up from the start. Order was incorrect the first time and again with reorder. If the patron states “no meat” and the server brings a plate with only meat…he’s not paying attention. When asking about dessert, server should check with ALL at the table, not just those seated on one side of the table. The Peabody has always been a fun and special treat to enjoy. Unfortunately, we will have to dine elsewhere before enjoying the fabulous holiday decor and cheerful lobby bar atmosphere.

Our server, Christopher, was the highlight of the evening - charming and helpful. The decor is uninspired and the food was fine but not memorable. We went because we wanted to have a meal at the Peabody. It could have been any hotel restaurant. Fine but nothing special. No plan to return.

Capriccio Grill in the Peabody Hotel was very good. The atmosphere was upscale but not stuffy, our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent from the Fried Oysters that we had for an appetizer, to the Salmon and Steak for main course and ended with the Mississippi Mud dessert...yum. Give it a try

Where do I start❤️I was immediately seat once I arrived by a Gentleman with a smile in his voice and lead to a table that was perfect and I’m noisy, so I could see the door. My food was hot and delicious. The service I received in this restaurant was mind blowing and my server was very attentive. Not only was I given this service I could see others was also. Thank you all for great Service.

We started with a sharing bread platter which was very nice. Half way through eating our starter, our main meal arrived. We advised that we had not finished our starter and did not want our main at that moment in time. The waiter was not happy with this but did take the food away. Our server arrived at the table and apologised, i confirmed that we did not want the same food heated up (pizza & pasta) but wanted fresh food cooked once we had finished our starter. Once finished our mains arrived. This was the same food as originally served. Both meals were luke warm. Once we started eating, we found a hair in the pasta. this was returned and a new pasta cooked. The pizza was only half eaten due to the wait on a new pasta dish being served. We asked if they could phone our shuttle pick up, this they did however there was a lot of confusion on where we were due to meet the driver. Overall not a good experience.

Less than impressed. Went for our anniversary which I indicated in the reservation. The tabletop was cracked. Sat in a dark corner. Table light wasn’t lit. Waiter was courteous but not overly attentive. Food came out timely and was good but not great. Which for the price, I was expecting great. A real letdown.

David S was a great server. The Shrimp scampi and loaded potatoes soup were very tasty along with the red wine and hors d'oeuvres. Strongly recommend a reservation as the greeting without one was a bit cold.
