The ambiance is great, but for what you pay the food is not worth it. You get one plate of tiny savory finger bites and then a bunch of sweets. My family does not eat many sweets so we asked for more of the savory options, but weren’t able to get additional like we usually do at other high tea places. At the end of the day, we paid $100 a person to have a few tiny bites and tea. More

We arrived as happy hour was ending. It was very busy and noisy. Our food took forever but was delicious. Presentation was wonderful too. The vegetable ramen was gorgeous. Had the truffle tuna app, awesome. Also the three ice cream. Green tea too watered down and not original enough. Once all the happy hour crowd left, around 8pm, it was a very pleasant ambiance. More

Very good experience. We had the dry aged steak and they were very good. Good vibe and atmosphere. It was our anniversary dinner, and I put that in the reservation. Some other high-end steakhouse we have been to would have had a card and the waiter/waitress would acknowledge that when we were there. Had a lovely Pre-Christmas get together with my coworkers at Porters. Conveniently located in the Loop with a beautiful river front view. Server was incredibly friendly and welcoming, drinks were on point and the Humus Dip was AMAZING! Definitely recommend. More

The service and atmosphere at Enolo Wine Cafe were both top notch. There seemed to be only one server working, but since there were only about three tables full, this was not an issue. I have yet to go on a busy night, so I cannot say what the service would be like if it was crowded. The food was mostly delicious, but I was slightly disappointed with the cheese board. Also if you do not go during happy hour, the menu is a little on the expensive side. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back for another happy hour. More

This was out first time at Tao and we really enjoyed it. We started out with the Chicken Gyoza and the Pork Boa Buns and were not disappointed! For our entrees, we got the Mongolian Beef and the Shrimp and Pork Fried Rice, both excellent. For dessert, I got the Bread Pudding Donuts, would highly recommend. All the food was great. Our only complaint was surprisingly the service, which was a little slow. It took us about 10 minutes from sitting down to get our waters and the refills were also kind of slow. Dishes are pricy, but you get a good serving size. More

Lovely location for a Christmas brunch. The food was wonderful and abundant - no complaints there. It’s a bit pricey but worth it - it’s comfortable and welcoming for everyone, the service is good (I only gave it a 4 stars here because it was hard to get another mimosa). We will be back! More

Food was good. A little high but that’s just Chicago prices. For cover charge it is cash only. They do not have an ATM. They worked with us and put the cover charge on our bill, but they probably would of preferred cash. It is small so whenever their is a live band it can be loud if you sit close to the stage. The service was a little slow which I did not understand but i don’t know the stuff going on behind the scenes. More

Marchesa was quite possibly the most BEAUTIFUL room I have ever dined out in. Super pretty and elegant-from the tableware, chairs, all the way to the surroundings-LOVELY. Our waiter was fantastic, punctual, always there to top of our wine. The shrimp appetizer was DELICIOUS, as were our entrees-branzino (perfect!) and the steak frittes (with Hollandaise Sauce)-YUMMY!! We even had a chance to talk with co-owner Kathleen for 10 minutes after at the hostess station-very nice! Oh-I forgot to mention that the desert (profiteroles) were DEVINE! You cannot go wrong dining here-our new FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!! More

I only recently discovered Barrio and have now lunched there twice. The food is inventive and delicious. My grilled octopus starter was fantastic. We also enjoyed the queso fundido starter. My friends really liked their entrees as well. The only negative on that day, was the slow service. We were there for 45 minutes before the entrees arrived. That said, I will definitely return as that was not my experience on the first visit. More

I had waited for years to experience The Feast of the Seven Fishes. Osteria Via Stato did not disappoint, it was absolutely AWESOME!!!! I wanted to order everything on the menu! They have so many small plates and appetizers that are just delicious. That’s the way my lady friends and I like to dine. It’s very close to AMC 600. So it’s the perfect place for dinner before or after a movie. We weren’t the only ones who loved it. The place was packed. Glad I made a reservation. But even though they were really busy, the service was excellent and the food came out very fast. Definitely on our movie night list. More

Don't want to be a Grinch but....The only "ding" I gave (4 stars) was for service and that's only because my personal preference is for a very low key server when I am on a date with my husband. I find my way ..around a menu pretty easily and know pretty much what I want. More

Overall, blown away! We had 8 plates between the 6 of us and we loved them all. Brussel sprouts were sooooo good! Also had Salmon Ceviche, Grilled Octopus (the best I’ve ever had), fried mushrooms with a standout sauce, halibut lettuce wraps, lamb pops, dumplings, queso fondido, and a variety of yummy drinks. All the dishes were great with the queso being the least stand out of dishes. If I had one critique it would be that the music was just a bit too loud as we were at a longer table and from one end to the next was kind of hard to hear. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Can’t want to try more of the dishes! More

This place was amazing. The salad bar was delicious with 6 specialty salads, a make your own salad station, hearty soups, and a tasty spread of charcuterie. The meat selection was expansive, I especially loved the sauces that were served with each. It really helped to elevate the meats. Great wine selection, and the decor inside was exquisite with beautiful wood architecture and a roaring fire as the centerpiece. Highly recommend! More

We LOVED this place, and ended up staying much longer than we intended to for the live music. The food was awesome, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is super kind. Great spot all around. The price is pretty reasonable too, I think we got like 5 plates for around $70. More

Thoroughly enjoyed the newest offering from the Nahabedians. Started off at the bar. Delicious cocktails and impeccable service from Clarence. Moved to the dining room where we equally impressed with the service (Thank you Kelly.) and fare. The fritto misto, lamb ribs and feta cheese turnovers were delicious starters. We moved on to the garganelli pasta and black cod for dinner. Finished with the olive oil cake. Portions are generous. We can home with leftovers that we ate before going to bed!
