Great selection on their menu to suit all appetites. Four of us were satisfied with the starters, main courses & also those that obtained deserts. Pleasant & helpful staff. Would visit again mid week.
Food was very good, pity 3 fish main courses were not available at 9pm because no fish left! Excellent value
Good was excellent and venue superb. They didn’t have our booking though which was disappointing but luckily for us a table was available.
Booked last minute and when we arrived the waitress didn’t even welcome us but just pointed to a table. The food was good but don’t go there if you want polite and courteous service. It seemed as though everything was a big effort for this person and any question she was asked was answered with sarcasm. I hope the management read this and work to make sure that this person improves her customer service skills.
Looking for early bird near Iveagh Gardens for 4 couples, this was perfect the set menu went down a treat. As it is quite a small restaurant it was a bit of a tight squeeze. I would like to return as a couple food was so tasty
This by far the best meal we have had since arriving in Ireland. Not only was the food delicious but the servers were extremely attentive and friendly. We had chicken Panang curry and chicken pad thai broth of which rivaled any of the thai restaurants in which we have eaten. Spices for both meals were perfect.
Excellent resteraunt There was 3 of us I was the person who recommended Chilli Club and was delighted that they both enjoyed the night and were very impressed with all aspects of the evening The food is very good we all had the set menu which is smallish but yet has a good choice We were seated upstairs as I was the last time I visited This is very airy and not as cramped as downstairs Was here again with a big group last saturday night and again everthing was wonderful Service is quick and all waiters and waitresses very friendly and helpful Great for a night out and very reasonable The set menu is 25Euro for 3 coarses and wine list is also very good
Enroute to a John Cale concert in National Concert Hall, we stopped off for an early bird at Chili Club. Had an amazing authentic meal that we couldn't fault and at a very affordable price. Staff, decor, ambience and portion size were perfect. Unsure why we've never visited this restaurant before now but looking forward already to going back.
First time and will be back it great buzz in and around the place well worth a visit
this restaurant is in an excellent location in the heart of the city centre. It presents as a cosy, relaxing place, very informal and serene. The food is outstanding, and consistently so, as I am a frequent visitor to the Chili Club. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the cuisine and make great recommendations, according to customer tastes.
The menu is varied and caters for vegetarians, and clearly outlines if food is spicy or not. I would recommend the Chili Club for a variety of occasions, from intimate romantic meals to family get-togethers.
Early bird menu is great value. Food was excellent.. we went early so restaurant was quiet and lacking a bit of atmosphere but once it filled up it made a difference.. service slightly lacking.. overall excellent food
As always the Chilli Club was as expected, good food, good service and lovely wine
Food was lovely but there was only one waitress working on a busy Saturday night. She seemed under pressure, slow service. But the food was very good value
Beautiful food, great staff. Lovely 2 hours spent.
First time here. Will be back and will recommend to friends. Relaxed, good city centre location. Food excellent. One of the party said it was the best Green Curry she's ever had. I had Pad Thai, excellent too. A great spot.
A great evening spent with friends. Great food and excellent service
An enjoyable homely atmosphere like eating in a house .Service v good.A relaxing space to meet up with friends.Food tasty not exceptional but reasonably priced
Sorry to say I was very disappointed as I have been before but it has been a few months... Spring roll starters tasteless as 6 mini ones / all pastry . Vegan stir fry also so tasteless and such bad value. My friend was very happy with their beef stir-fry. The waiter was also in a serious bad mood. :-( Both of us were happy to leave on that count!
Food was excellent service superb and atmosphere was excellent
I have been to Chili Club a few times now. The staff are always lovely, the ambiance is great and most importantly the food is delicious. Always really fresh and so tasty.
Very cozy - small restaurant - tables are situated very close to each other but intimate. We ate there on Monday night so very quiet with just another couple. Food was nice - duck curry was excellent :)
Outstanding meal...as always. Best Thai restaurant in Ireland...the background music was excellent also
Very nice food and atmosphere. Only staff a bit strange a specialy the girl.I understand the 2h table policy but there was nobody behind us. We had to finish our wine very quick.Stress on the end of the birthday dinner! Not recommend for those who need more then 2h.Thx
I had to travel all the way to Dublin to finally find the perfect Larb Gai. Kudos to the chef for turning such a Thai standard into something so wonderful. The other food was delicious too, the service is nice and friendly, and the interior of the place is not overpowering you with cheap asia chic. I loved the dinner there.
Food consistently good combined with exceptional service.
Enjoyed a lively and very tasty dinner here with friends recently. My green Thai curry was delicious and my friends agreed that the massaman curry was equally tasty and even quite moreish. A great little gem just off the beaten track in Dublin’s city centre. Definitely will be back!
Food and service was really good. It is an old restaurant and could do with a facelift!!, in particular the bathrooms. I love thai food and the spicier the better, which it was. We had the winter menu for 2 for €60 euro, which is the early bird menu plus a bottle of house wine. Good food, good value
I love the food and the service here
It's just perfect
The Chili Club continues to be my favourite restaurant in Dublin - authentic, delicious Thai food served in warm and cosy surroundings by friendly and welcoming staff... What more could you want?
We ate here on 27 December, a table of 4. Food was excellent with a good choice. However, we felt that the service was definitely lacking. The guy serving us gave off a real sense that he didn’t want to be there. His manner, whilst not rude, was very perfunctory and sometimes bordering on abrupt. Conversations were had with absolutely no eye contact. We may have just have caught him on a bad day. Finally, we were seated upstairs. There was a plug in heater but it was still quite cold, so perhaps ask for a table downstairs if booking. We would go back for the food and in the hope that the rest of the experience would match up next time.
I am a faithful Chili Club fan and have been dining in this cosy, quirky little house venue for the past twenty years. The food is consistently good and the welcome always warm. I would always highly recommend it. The joy of it is that it's a well-kept secret among Dublin stalwarts as it's hidden up a little alley way off South Anne Street.
Booked table for 6.30, mains didn’t arrive until 7.50
One water glass had 2 major chips in it
Service took a long time. Starter arrrived about 20 minutes after ordering but mains were a long time after that.
Starters were also a very small portion and very expensive- €7.50 for 5 vegetable spring rolls.
One main ordered was yellow curry with tofu and vegetables but there was no tofu or potatoes when it came. Server apologised, took it away then returned and said there actually were potatoes and that tofu hadn’t been written on the order form as if this was a fault on our part. Server was really quite rude and short with us after this.
Surprised that boiled rice was an additional €2 charge as this was not clear on the menu. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience.
Thai green curry is the best I’ve tasted outside Thailand. Excellent service, reasonable prices and lovely house wine. Need to book in advance. Definitely worth a visit
Very tasty ! Nice and relaxed , great value , convenient location
Great location in city Centre with Good food , great atmosphere and friendly staff.
very nice meal with excellent service. I have dined in the Chilli Club on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The menu is very well priced and service is always excellent.
Enjoyed the experience food was good and service pleasant and good. I would probably dine here again.
Overall great, the food was lovely and the ambience was pleasant. Nice cozy little restaurant.
The waitress was really friendly however even though it's a small place she was the only waitress and responsible for everything including setting and clearing the tables. We had to wait a long time for the food, items were missing on the table (knives, plates), one friend's dish was cold. The waitress took it back to have it re-heated and eventually we had to ask her to bring it back. They could do with an extra waitress, it would greatly improve the service.
I had dinner on Friday nite with 2 friends...
a rather brash waitress...food nothing to write home about...definitely not value for money....I would not recommend this restaurant....
Food was delicious. One of the better Thai restaurants in Dublin. Waitress was very attentive. Place is very small inside but once it fills up there’s a nice cosy atmosphere. Even the lemon sorbet dessert was perfect. No complaints. Will definitely be back.
