Nicely surprised by my most recent dining experience at Ciao Bella. My halibut dinner entre selection on the daily special menu was tastier than expected. Rossi, our wait person, was genuinely personable & accommodating. She was tuned in enough to our dining experience to place a lit candle in the dessert selection for my good friend to further enhance the birthday celebration, without being asked. That, definitely, was an unexpected surprise! Overall, a very favorable dining experience!
Ambiance was great
Food was very good
Food was great and service was great . Would say to my friends that they must try
Dining room was booked with special event, therefore, we were sited in the Lounge area which was very noisy. Difficult to carry on a conversation.
Great food wonderful atmosphere- can’t wait to go back!
Superb place for any type of occasion, love to go there, great food, good wine list, and I love the ambience
Best service for my anniversary date waiter was the best!!
Excellent anniversary dinner with our moms!
from start to finish yummy as Always!
The wait staff is always friendly and competent. Food is prepared to be both visually appealing and tasty. Never feel rushed, to get you out the door. One of our favorite places for date night.
The veal wasn't on point! Looked like and tasted like processed meat!
Ciao Belle doesn't disappoint! The food is always so great and the service was above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend this place for some delish Italian food!
Very nice restaurant great service, however my meal was slightly bland.
Very good daily specials. Server knew his dishes and was very friendly. Wednesday night 1/2 price wine also has its advantages.
Loved the outdoor seating. Food was exceptional. Service was top notch. Wish I could eat here every night.
Food was very good, server Michael was so much fun and made the evening very enjoyable. Joe, the owner, made sure everything was perfect. Definitely will be back.
I have been coming to Ciao Bella from the day they opened ! Joe & his staff are the best in the area
We have been to Ciao Bella three times in the past two weeks and were thrilled with all our visits. Dan the bartender is great with drinks and conversation. We have had salmon and fish fry and they were excellent. Our friends had ravioli and another pasta dish and both said they were excellent. Service was great, as well.
We've been there many times, favorite birthday celebration location. This was our granddaughter's 21st birthday, so special night. Service was very slow ... food took forever, very unusual for this restaurant, and our past experiences. Waiter was very good, think it was the kitchen, we noticed other tables waiting a long time as well.
We met friends and had a wonderful evening, food and service were great! I would highly recommend Ciao Bella to anyone looking fo great food with a great vibe!!
I came to this restaurant for our anniversary. I decided to have a filet and my wife the filet medallion dishes they were serving. All I will say this was my last time here. The filet was pricy at 41.00 but that's what I wanted. I decided to order medium to be safe. Little pink is good. They brought out our entrees and I cut my filet an it was almost raw. The waiter took me steak back to the kitchen. We waited an waited. My sides were getting cold an my wife was 1/3 to 1/2 done with her meal when my steak was brought back. Needless to say they steak brought back to me was my original steak that was char burnt on the bottom. Well done would have been better than what was served to me. I wasn't sending it back as I just wanted to get out. I had a 100.00 gift card fro this place and gave away whatever was left on it to a homeless guy. Hope he enjoys it. I didn't. To much competition in the area serving a lot better meal and value. NEVER AGAIN?
The food was very good, and the service was excellent. We had dinner with friends, and we spent a few hours talking. We were never rushed nor given any indication we should move on. Very enjoyable dining.
My daughter suggested that I take my two women friends to Ciao Bella and I am delighted that she did. We each had a different meal and we each enjoyed our entree. I had the salmon and vegetables and thought it was perfectly prepared. The rigatoni was tasty and the tomato sauce was bright and fresh. Our waiter was fun and knowledgable.
Disappointed this time. Food was sub par for the price. Probably won’t be back. Great service though.
This was my second visit and, while the food portions were generous and the service attentive, it was slightly disappointing. The quality of the food (pasta, fish, chicken, soups) was no better than average which represented a decline from last year's more favorable experience. I missed the accordionist as well as the atmosphere was decidedly less festive than I recalled. But every staff member in contact with out party was cordial and very attentive. Perhaps the kitchen staff has changed? Still, not a bad place to eat an ample meal; but not a memorable one either.
Great nightly specials and 1/2 price wine bottles make this a Wednesday destination we thoroughly enjoy when we can.
The Server was attentive and showed initiative to make sure that we were enjoying our meal. When we found the salad was not as expected he was very quick to respond - taking back the salad and ordering a different salad. One entree did not turn out as we desired perhaps substituting chicken for the original sausage was why the dish lost flavor and character (as a word of caution). Our server checked in after we received the entrees and noticed we were underwhelmed and he again suggested we order a new entree. He was very customer oriented and clearly knew his menu well.
The Tuna entree was a definite winner and I highly recommend it for anyone considering fish!!
Overall our experience was good. I ordered the chicken over grilled vegetables with a balsamic glaze and the chicken was very dry. I would not order this dish again.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants for the past couple years but honestly the last two times we’ve been there the food hasn’t been as high-quality as it has in the past. Wondering if there has been a change with the chef’s??? This is been a little disappointing but will try again
while the food was good, just
average, the portions are huge. tables are way too close together. didn’t need to hear the ladies at the next table discussing their recent surgeries.
We have been here numerous times. This time, my pregnant wife ordered salmon. It was barely cooked. The waiter was apologetic. It was sent back and re-done. 25 minutes later, I had finished eating and my wife had to just have it boxed up to take home. $22 for salmon microwaved the next day is like throwing away money. The upsetting part is he never offered to discount the bill and do anything. Just “sorry.” I understand that things happen, but this isn’t a way to earn repeat business.
Food was pretty good while a little expensive but the service was outstanding-above the call.
The dinner was excellent. The salmon was the best I have had recently. The service was outstanding. We had an enjoyable time. I highly recommend Ciao Bella. Open Table made reservations easy.
was there for the BOURBON TASTING, so it's not a true review of the place, but based on past experience, owner Joe Scalzo and Co do a great job! alwaysa good meal and wine pairings. but if you ever hear of this bourbon dinner, BE THERE! outstanding event, but get a driver!
We have been to Ciao Bella many times. Our server was very attentive and charismatic. Food was very good and the drinks were tasty and cold. This is a very good place to dine.
The food is great. Highly recommend it to everyone. It's a diamond in the rough tucked away in an unsuspecting spot.
This was our first time being guests at Ciao Bella and overall it was okay but I don't think we would return in the future. The overall ambiance and scenery were nice and fit the Italian-theme so that was nice. Our server was able to take our food and drink orders but that was about it. We were interested in the specials but he just pointed to the small menu containing them and moved on with asking for our drink order. On top of that, there were two other people who just continued to come to the table removing glasses without saying a word. They would reach over my back or directly across my face to take a glass and then quickly walk away. There was another adult that was going to order wine with dinner but it just seemed assumed that we would not order for some reason? When I took a look at other tables who also did not have wine at that current time, there were no glasses being removed from their table. Simply put, it was rude. I ordered a chicken item that was supposed to be a chicken parmigiana but it was burned on the bottom and lacked much flavor. Our other party members ordered items as well which were average at best in terms of flavor and there was poor presentation of the entree' as well. Since our reservations were later in the evening, I just assumed that this was the reason for the rude, rushed service and poor food quality. So instead of complaining, we tipped our 21% and moved forward with the knowledge that we would not visit again.
The halibut special was fresh and wonderfully prepared. And the chef was accommodating to my dietary restrictions and prospered the bearable accordingly
Didn’t realize the pesto sauce would be a CREAM sauce. Menu didn’t say CREAMY pesto sauce. Misleading I thought. Chicken on it tasted odd for the the dish. Didn’t care for the cheese they put on top of it either. Tasted like goat cheese. I would have kept it off had I known. My son had the same thing and wasn’t a fan of the creamy pesto sauce either. Husband’s Penne Brivado was much better.
Fine Italian food with great ambience. Excellent daily specials and a full bar
make the trip well worth the time
This was my 2nd time at Ciao Bella and I must say it wasn’t up to my previous experience. Granted, it was Mother’s Day, however... our food took forever and when I finally got my dinner, it was ice cold. I didn’t send it back because that’s not me.
I do love the restaurant and will still go back.
