Clay Hill Farm
Dinner with 6 friends was great at Clay Hill Farm. Quiet for conversation, piano in the background. And of course the food was perfect!
I will try it again. I think wait staff needs to check back with their parties re: food prep, taste, etc... or more cocktails. Big party and one prime rib too rare to eat so member never ate as wait staff didn’t return. It wasn’t that busy.
Have been there many times and have never had a bad meal. Try to eat there every time we get to Maine.
This is a wonderful place to relax in a casual atmosphere and enjoy delicious food. The service is outstanding and you will have a great social experience.
We were there for our anniversary and were in a room with two big loud parties. It was hard for a coversation with just two people. Would have preferred the smaller front room for smaller parties.
Lovely ambiance. My husband is hearing impaired and the noise level was very low which made for a very enjoyable evening. Server was very knowledgeable and made good recommendations. Service was excellent, well paced. Food was very good. We will definitely return.
We had another great night out at Clay Hill Farm. Perfect to celebrate our anniversary and introduce our friends to a terrific dining spot in Ogunquit. Everything about our dinner was perfect. Thank you!
Another great dinner at Clay Hill Farm to celebrate our November birthdays. The food was delicious, service great, all in a gorgeous setting in the woods off the coast of Maine.
Cozy and inviting ambiance. Interior tables could use more lighting since they’re further from wall sconces. Great service and the food was delicious. Grounds were beautiful.
Relaxing nice live music playing in the background but not to loud. We were able to have a quiet conversation and still listen to the guitar player. Service was attentive but not rushing us. Food was well prepared and so delicious. Nice selections and variety.
The farm was beautiful, servers were courteous and attentive and food was delicious. I am looking forward to coming back and have already recommended you to my cousin.
Food was excellent and service was great too! I would definitely go back.
Excellent food and service! Everyone Was friendly and welcoming.
This was our 35th Wedding Anniversary celebration and our dinner was not prepared the way we ordered. Our waitress offered to have the strip steak redone but i was done so we were not eating together. So sad for this to happen for our 35th celebration.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the entire dining experience! The set up of the small table by the window, the luxurious chairs and the ambiance of the room itself was just perfect. Our meals were excellent and the service was outstanding. A night we will not soon forget!
This is our favorite place to go. Everything from the staff to the food is extraordinary. We were married there 8 years ago tommorow, and every year we go back to celebrate. We are always treated like family, it like coming home. Thank you Clay Hill Farm for making us feel so special!!!
I love the feel of the restaurant, the food was outstanding and I enjoyed the live music in the background.
Food was outstanding, great service and beautiful setting. We'll be back the next time we're in the area!
The food and atmosphere are great. The live music makes it extra special.
Wonderful service, food and piano entertainment. We will return!
We have been celebrating our anniversary at Clay Hill Farm for the last ten years. It never fails to help make it a very special occasion. We look forward to our next visit.
What a beautiful place and the setting is just devine.
Food was as always delicious!
This is my second time coming back: I spent New Year's Eve dining here and was that impressed that I had to return.
I live some 60 miles away and love Ogunquit, there are so many choices for restaurants so for me to come back, says it all!
Highly recommended never disappoints.
Loved rhe garden atmosphere of this romantic dining room. Our stuffed haddock and prime rib were equally delicious. House salad was uniquely tasty. The creme brulee was simply delectable! All said....a delightul evening and a perfect birthday gift!
Limited menu—a few things done well!
Went there for my wife's birthday. Great service, food was delicious and the price was right
This was a last minute choice as we had theater tickets for 7:30 PM. This is a beautiful place both inside and out. Service was perfect. It was our first trip to Ogunquit. We left saying this was on the list when we make a return trip. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. Next time we will plan to make the meal more leisurely when we are not on a schedule.
Clay Hill Farm is the type of restaurant you go to for a quiet, romantic restaurant experience that delivers great food, service and nice touches like a live piano in the background and flying squirrels swooping from tree to tree outside. If you are looking for a flashy, highly "energetic" and trendy venue, this lovely and friendly elegant restaurant will not make you happy.
It was delightful
ClayHill never disappoints! Celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and everything was perfect! They even remembered to seat us at our special table!
This was the first dining experience for my wife and I at Clay Hill Farm. Everything was perfect! Great food, service and ambience. We will return on our next trip to Ogunquit.
Staff is always friendly. I like that I never feel rushed. The shrimp cocktail appetizer is amazing!
Enjoyed a Great steak dinner. The salmon special was also tasty.
This is our second visit to Clay Hill Farm, we brought 6 friend who all enjoyed it just as much as we do! Wonderful meal, waiter was outstanding and setting is beautiful
Do not appreciate attempted intimidation to use Valet Parking. Many valuables were scattered around car after a day of shopping and once I ask to self-park.....that should be it!
The place was CLOSED!!!! Why take reservations on a night when it is CLOSED?
Clay Hill Farm provides good food and service in a comfortable country atmosphere.
We made a reservation for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance was lovely. The entire staff we encountered; the hostess, bartender, waitress and waiter were all genuine, friendly and very competent. The lobster bisque was amazing! The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. We were too full for dessert having finished everything on our plates. We will definitely return for dinner when we are in ME again.
Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Good cocktails, too.
The restaurant was beautiful and the Service was great. My martini was perfect. My husband had the prime rib. It was overcooked; he asked for medium rare. The aus jus sauce was so salty that he could't eat it. I ordered the surf and turf. the lobster tail was undercooked and the so called "turf" was tough and full of gristle. I left most of it on my plate; very disappointing.
