Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn
It was AMAZING
Am always disappointed when I’m seated at a two top. By the time you get your water & your wine & the pretzel bread, there’s usually not much room left on the table for the food. I can understand when the restaurant seems busy, but my friend & I always feel there’s no room to move, especially if you order an extra side or a 2nd glass of wine. I didn’t think our waitress was very attentive, not one of my favorite experiences at my favorite restaurant.
I'm a Wine Club member, so I go there often. The food is always good. And great wine.
Food was good but the Service could have been better
We love Cooper's hawk. The food is very consistent, drinks are reliable. Always a great experience. We are figuring out how to incorporate Cooper's Hawk more into our rotation.
Consistently very good food with great service! Wines are reasonably priced per
The waitress was excellent. Destiny was patient and kind to my guest and myself. She honored my birthday with a small treat and everything was on point. The food was great and she made sure that my party was completely satisfied. I would recommend having the peach sangria to be purchased in a bottle as well as the pitcher and glass.
Awesome experience I hold a membership with Cooper’s Hawk Winery. However, when it comes to this location a reservation is a must.
We didn't have to wait long for our reserved seat, which was AWESOME! It was a Friday night, so the place was REALLY busy, but we were shown the utmost courtesy, respect and attention. I've always enjoyed coming to this particular CH, but tonight was just great! From the service to the food to the time we left, we knew we'd be back...soon!
It took forever for my server to show up. She brought water but no straws or bread. We had to tell her we were ready to order appetizers. And she only checked on us twice, 2 minutes after bringing our meals and then when we're done eating. I don't blame the restaurant for this because it wasn't busy. This was all on part of our server. Service sucked
I’m a Cooper’s Hawk wine club member and truly enjoy CH. hey his particular location was terrible in many ways. The server was new, the food was delayed for 35 mins. She was attentive to her big table and failed to check on us, as she should’ve. The good was incorrect from the kitchen, we requested the manager. We waited for the order to be done again (we eventually lost our appetite). My husband order was accurate, mine was still incorrect the second time. We were compensated a bottle of wine. We waited another 20 mins for the check, after it was requested. The overall service at this location was truly terrible, will not return here.
Waitress took to long serving us and we had to even wait to make sure she got our money. We still tipped 18% but normally we tip 22% and up.
It was alright
The food was good, ambience was nice, my reservation was at 6:15 and I didn't leave until a little after 8. Which I think is quite long. Maybe i visited during a busy time. I probably won’t dine at that time again. My server was very nice and she came to the table a few times but at the end of the meal I’m ready to pay and go. Plus I had my little children with me. And they got ancy.
The service was poor. When I escalated it to management Tony, the manager on duty was unapologetic and brought food back out that still was not up to par. The rest of my party was finished eating before my food was even brought to the table.
The food was fine. The service was very slow.
It was very nice but very loud. Guess that is because it was very busy. 😀 Food was very tasty
I love going to Cooper's Haw Winery and Restaurant. The service and food are always great. It is one of my favorite places to dine.
When I made the reservation I noted it was for a birthday. The server asked if it we were celebrating a special occasion when she introduced herself. I shared with her we were celebrating my mother’s birthday. That was the end of it!! No acknowledgement with the usual lighted candle, very disappointed. In addition the coffee served was not hot and my meal was lukewarm. I have dined at Cooper’s Hawk on many occasions and have always been pleased. This was a big disappointment. I will be looking to celebrate special occasions with family at another restaurant.
Early Birthday celebration!
Food was great and service was awesome. Waitress was very attentive and friendly.
Horrible waitress, very nonchalant and uninterested in taking our order or following up with the kitchen to see if our food was ready. Drinks took 30 minutes to come, all of our food came individually, therefore, not allowing us to eat together and the manager was defensive- too busy making excuses for his staff opposed to trying to rectify the situation.
Do not recommend on a Saturday night.
The food was not tasting good, it was not like it used to taste...everything was off
We had a marvelous time! My mother and the rest of my family had the best time. Great food, great service, great experience! Thank you
The food was excellent as usual, service by waitress could’ve been better. She wasn’t as attentive as she could’ve been.
One. Of the newer Coopers Hawk rest. Ambiance was nice ,food was god, but server was having an off day.
This was the most horrible service & food that I have received. The food was cold & I have never been so disappointed
I miss this restaurant so much so I jumped at the chance to go when I got to town and was excited there were more locations. I couldn't have been happier! Starting with the white wine sample when I entered, followed by a great mixed tasting (this months wine, Torrontes, was delicious), then we tried the drunken shrimp and the chicken lettuce wraps, so good, followed by the short rib risotto... amazing. 5 stars! Now I just need one in Dallas!!
My cousin and I waited over an hour for our food. We had to track down the waitress multiple times to order wine. Then sat for 40 minutes looking for her to pay the bill. We ended up having to go up front to get the bill to pay as she was nowhere to be found. Used to love going but their service has dropped down dramatically over the past year.
Had a reservation and were seated almost 30 minutes late on a Wednesday night. Then our food orders took an extremely long time! I came in after a long shift with two friends and was looking for a relaxing night so this was a very disappointing experience for this wine club member and her friends!
Usually we have to wait but even with a full restuarant we were seated within 5 minutes. Service was good, most of the waiters had great personalities and were trying to do the best to serve you. Food is always good.
As always I enjoy myself
Excellent food, and service. Took advantage of 2botyles of wine that were corked to take home to finish.
First time there and it was amazing our waiter was very attentive the food was great and the Ambiance was amazing will definitely be back
The food and wine was amazing!!! This time the service was more special than I had ever experienced before!!! WONDERFUL!!
Will our server was magnificent!!! Had to say that 1st. When we arrived the beautiful ladies greeted me so warmly, let me choose which of the 3 ambiances I preferred. When my husband came in walked him to where I was sitting. The food fabulous as always!!
Great time. Thank you for helping us celebrate a belated birthday!
Was told by a friend that this location sucked, but it was closer than the Orland Park location so we decided to go there. Should have listened to my friend. The service was the biggest let down. Server was very nice but barely around. We had to get our own plates and silverware from another table when our appetizer came. Then our dirty dishes sat there almost our whole meal. The sangria we got tasted like kool aid and I got the surf and turf and changed my sides to get a double order of the kale but they only gave me one and smeared it across the plate. Just very disappointed and very honestly will never go back to this location. I will take the extra time to drive to Orland Park because that one is 100 times better than the Oak Lawn location. On a good note, we did like the patio area.
The food was average and tasted old.
As a wine club member, I frequent the Oak Lawn location. My friends and I had a great lunch and drinks. We ordered the Dana's Chicken, Fish & Chips, and Crunchy Shrimp. Plus, the sangria (limonella) and sparkling raspberry. I will definitely return again.
