A special meal for my husbands 60th. Great food and service.
Service was excellent
Food was better
Christopher was amazing
Amazing food and service. Couldn’t wait to share with friends and family!!
Reasonably good Greek inspired restaurant. However, not worthy of 1 Michelin star. Dishes are good but fairly classic with average presentation. Moussaka was a bit dry. We were served a half bottle of wine (even though I checked with the waiter and questioned the quality of the wine in a 14 year old half bottle) that we returned after tasting because it was off. Got another perfectly good one and we were not charged for the first one. service and ambience was excellent.
We ordered the Scallops and the fried brussel sprouts to share as appetizers. The scallops are a good size, plump, tender and fresh. And the fried brussel sprouts are simply not to be missed. Main courses were the Whole Brazino and the Fish of the Day (ling cod). Both were done expertly. Can go wrong with a dinner at Dio Deko. Great service topped off the evening.
Excellent experience, warm welcome, smooth-running operation, professional, caring service, excellent food, pastry chef is an absolute artist (the spectacular dessert was displayed on a plate decorated with drizzled chocolate lace designs, overall excellent experience. Go!
Great place for dinner. Visit at least once a month
However service this visit not up to the standard normally experience. Waited 35 minutes at the table to get a glass of wine and it came at the same time as the starter dishes!
Friendly waiter but his Italian inflection was hard to decipher.
Been to Dio Deka several times and always enjoyed the meal...which you have to for the prices charges. This last meal, four of us ate and everything was good, except for the lamp chops. They were ordered medium rare -- the came seared on the outside and completely raw inside...not the center, the entire chop a few millimeters under the seared, and over seasoned outside.
I cut into one and realized the error and look for my server, or anyone, to let them know they were not properly prepared. After several minutes without anyone coming back to the table or making eye contact with a customer who clearly has an issue, I got up and brought the plate to the open kitchen and told one of the chefs that they were under cooked. A few minutes later the plate was brought back with the same chops cooked more. As a result, the outside was now leathery and the inside tasteless.
All of the other dishes -- appetizers and entrees were good (not great). Unfortunately, the poor preparation of the $50+ lamb chops soured an otherwise nice meal.
I assume as some sort of accommodation, our waitress brought us four of us glass of an very sweet Greek desert wine, which none of us liked/could drink, or wanted. They made a point to let me know that they "comped" us the drinks on our bill.
It was a delightful experience as we celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary and our daughter's 54th birthday.
Consistently good food. Best in value. noisy though. Fair wine policy
The restaurant was OK. I was disappointed with my octopus. Honestly the little intermezzo of mushroom soup was the best thing we had. Nothing made me feel like it was really worth the price.
The meal was OK. Nothing amazing for me. Wine per glass was way over priced. I have no desire to go again.
We had the lamb shank and the lamb chops. I found the shank very bland and unremarkable. The 2 lamb chops were Australian and somewhat sparse for the price but well seasoned. The starch that came with each dish was barely apparent. The prices about what you would expect for a Michelin rated restaurant. We took an early reservation, but when the place got full the noise was so loud that we could no longer engage in conversation.
Beautiful restaurant. Service was good. Appetizers of brussel sprouts and lamb meatballs were excellent. Unfortunately communication problem with the salad/mayo or no mayo in the dressing. Request for no mayo was interpreted as an allergy to nuts....huh? Whatever. Branzino was recommended and was ok but a bit salty and the accompanying sautéed greens were ridiculously salty along with the roasted potatoes. Filet was good but not worth the $62 for the a la carte price. Don't plan to return.
Great venue for a celebration dinner with friends
The service was really lacking. We had a couple wrong dishes sent to our table as well as 2 items on our bill we did not order. Great food but horrible service for the price.
The lamb chops and Branzino were delicious and so were the roasted potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our sever (Daniele) was wonderful and very personable. He helped us with recommendations for appetizers and the wine. The ambiance and the timing of the food coming out from the kitchen was also very good. My boyfriend and I are very picky about our food and service. We have been to several 1, 2, and 3 Star Michelin restaurants and Dio Deka is now on our list of favorite restaurants to dine at.
Valentines Day prix fixe menu was incredible - they did a great job of keeping people served while not feeling rushed - this place is always top drawer!
Easy to get to , plenty of parking and a great experience -we enjoyed ourselves
Food is fresh and tasty. However, all dishes are kind salty for me. Being a high blood pressure patient, I would prefer a little less salty.
We were astounded at the cost of $222.00 for 3 people with one glass of wine and no dessert. The food is amazing, but it’s hard when every entree is 40+.
We love the food but portions are small for the price.
As always, exceptional service, great food, nice presentation, and attentive waiter. Love everything about this restaurant.
Yes, I would recommend it, but I would want them to be fully aware of the prices. Great filet minion. Great dessert. Lovely ambiance, but more pricey than what I think it should be.
Wonderful place to have an excellent meal. Great for a romantic dinner or a friends evening out. The food is always fantastic.
Danielle was an awesome waiter!
Amazing experience as always. Good food, wines and service.
Excellent service, food was well prepared and delicious.
Delicious meal, relaxed and attentive service.
High end restaurant with low light and comfortable ambiance. On the up side - great service from waiter and delicious food. The down side was the cost of the very small portions, the noise level was extremely high and although the waiter was charming and the service quick he was very hard to understand.
Bottom line - the meal was not worth the cost.
All of our food choices were good. Cocktails were also very good. The only thing I would like is for the service to be more relaxed. The waiter was very attentive but he kept asking us if we were ready to order and we just ordered appetizer and drinks. I just felt they were trying to rush us out. We were there to celebrate my birthday and wanted to just take our time and enjoy the evening especially since we are spending a lot of money for the food/drinks. I don't think that is asking for a lot. I would recommend this place for special occasions only and to make sure you ask your server to please not rush the evening!
Lovely ambience amazing food and exemplary service!
Loud but delicious!
Fantastic dinner celebrating our daughters acceptance to a college
The service was excellent. The food was good but definitely not worth the cost.
Their Octopus appetizer was perfect. The entree we had were outstanding. Need to come back for the entire gang.
What a fabulous place to spend New Year's Eve....the music excellent, the food superb and the midnight toast and dancing was all part of a wonderful night.
The best restaurant ever! What a pleasure to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Dio Deka.
Just the best for a special evening. Expensive but worth it. Won’t have a more impressive prepared and presented plate.
So festive and delicious! Great service!
