The service was impeccable... food amazing... and it was nice to eat in a proper courtyard. Felt very safe in this strange time.
Very nice ambiance on the front patio. The restaurant has added a lot of tables in both the courtyard and the front (but well spaced out) making it a great venue for outdoor dining.
The restaurant is good service and delicious food. My family really enjoy have a dinner at here.
Really nice first time experience. Good social distancing between tables. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Tried the riblets, and don’t confuse them with BBQ ribs. Tender with unique flavor. We had the whole Bass and it was light and flaky. One of the best fish I’ve ever had. Pricey, but an excellent experience.
Great food Staff working hard to give a great experience under difficult circumstances
Booked a table outside at the front but disappointed it was not noted. Had to take what was offered
The wine was spectacular, the service was awesome. The tzatiki was jump really two lumps of yogurt, nothing special at all. The branzino was overcooked and dry. The Islay Lavagulin 16yr was way over-priced compared to other restos.
Everything was fantastic. Returning customers.
I was not sure what to expect with the COVID-19 modifications- but they have done a great job pivoting to make the dining experience wonderful. The food was excellent and the service top notch! Way to go Dio Deka!
Fabulous. As usual !
Always such a great experience even in light of the "new normal" with the Covid-19 rules and regulations. Their service, food quality and ambience is still spot on which made for a great dining experience especially on Father's Day. Thank you, Dio Deka!
We can see how hard it is to create outside the same vibe as inside during corona virus. I wish they’d just allow you to space the tables out. The food always outstanding!!! Thanks guys, until next time....
In my mind, Dio Deka is the best restaurant in the South Bay and top 5 in the entire SF Bay Area. The food is outstanding, the wine list is phenomenal and most importantly, the staff is extraordinary.
We celebrated Fathers Day. The food was awesome, not we wanted because a lot of items were already gone when we got there 7:15. Service was slow because this is the new normal running around, hard to hear with masks. But they did a great job! But it was a bit pricey for the evening. All the less expensive items even $27 were out!
Food and service were fantastic. Their outdoor seating is the best in Los Gatos, lots of it and much of it covered.
The outdoor seating was wonderful. I hope you continue this after the restrictions are lifted! Always so great to dine at Dio.
We only had two complaints. Some of the food was very salty and when we got the been yeas for dessert they tasted like they had been fried and old oil
We ate outdoors on the lovely front patio on a warm evening at a shady table. Everything was great, but this is a pricey restaurant.
We enjoyed a wonderful "socially distanced" dinner outside this weekend. The food was terrific as usual. Great octopus and spreads for appetizers and wonderful mains. The servers were very carefully following all safety protocols. Our table was well placed and far from any other tables, although we were only a party of 2. It was so nice to feel somewhat normal and to go out to dinner again. They are doing a fine job at Dio Deka.
Great food and they do a good job with the social distancing.
Very nice outdoor space, social distancing easily accomplished. Great food and wine selection.
Athos was our waiter and did a great job! Very knowledgable of menu questions and personable.
Dio Deka is one of our favorite restaurants and it did not disappoint. The outside dining they have setup is amazing and the food and service was great as always. Highly recommend.
Dio Deka was OUTSTANDING as always---my favorite place!!
Celebrating my husband’s 60th bday. Wonderful experience during this Covid19 pandemic. The tables are outdoors and nicely spaced to provide privacy and safe social distancing.
Great dining experience. I would recommend everyone to check this place out.
We loved eating outside on their beautiful patio. Recommend it during these COVID times.
Our favorite favorite favorite.
We have been coming to this restaurAnt since it opened .
The food ... always fresh and excellently prepared.
The service... everyone is very professional, extremely kind, attentive And very considerate .
Ambiance ... spectacular . We bring our most valued clients from out of town here.. because we know it’s always good.
Hard to improve upon perfection.
Great staff and service
Great ambiance ..
A special meal for my husbands 60th. Great food and service.
Service was excellent
Food was better
Christopher was amazing
Amazing food and service. Couldn’t wait to share with friends and family!!
Reasonably good Greek inspired restaurant. However, not worthy of 1 Michelin star. Dishes are good but fairly classic with average presentation. Moussaka was a bit dry. We were served a half bottle of wine (even though I checked with the waiter and questioned the quality of the wine in a 14 year old half bottle) that we returned after tasting because it was off. Got another perfectly good one and we were not charged for the first one. service and ambience was excellent.
We ordered the Scallops and the fried brussel sprouts to share as appetizers. The scallops are a good size, plump, tender and fresh. And the fried brussel sprouts are simply not to be missed. Main courses were the Whole Brazino and the Fish of the Day (ling cod). Both were done expertly. Can go wrong with a dinner at Dio Deko. Great service topped off the evening.
Excellent experience, warm welcome, smooth-running operation, professional, caring service, excellent food, pastry chef is an absolute artist (the spectacular dessert was displayed on a plate decorated with drizzled chocolate lace designs, overall excellent experience. Go!
Great place for dinner. Visit at least once a month
However service this visit not up to the standard normally experience. Waited 35 minutes at the table to get a glass of wine and it came at the same time as the starter dishes!
Friendly waiter but his Italian inflection was hard to decipher.
Been to Dio Deka several times and always enjoyed the meal...which you have to for the prices charges. This last meal, four of us ate and everything was good, except for the lamp chops. They were ordered medium rare -- the came seared on the outside and completely raw inside...not the center, the entire chop a few millimeters under the seared, and over seasoned outside.
I cut into one and realized the error and look for my server, or anyone, to let them know they were not properly prepared. After several minutes without anyone coming back to the table or making eye contact with a customer who clearly has an issue, I got up and brought the plate to the open kitchen and told one of the chefs that they were under cooked. A few minutes later the plate was brought back with the same chops cooked more. As a result, the outside was now leathery and the inside tasteless.
All of the other dishes -- appetizers and entrees were good (not great). Unfortunately, the poor preparation of the $50+ lamb chops soured an otherwise nice meal.
I assume as some sort of accommodation, our waitress brought us four of us glass of an very sweet Greek desert wine, which none of us liked/could drink, or wanted. They made a point to let me know that they "comped" us the drinks on our bill.
It was a delightful experience as we celebrated our 58th wedding anniversary and our daughter's 54th birthday.
Consistently good food. Best in value. noisy though. Fair wine policy
The restaurant was OK. I was disappointed with my octopus. Honestly the little intermezzo of mushroom soup was the best thing we had. Nothing made me feel like it was really worth the price.
The meal was OK. Nothing amazing for me. Wine per glass was way over priced. I have no desire to go again.
