Went here for my birthday and everything was great! Definitely will be going back soon!
Michael is AMAZING! Went above and beyond for us!!!
So overpriced. Drinks were all ice and no alcohol. They advertise happy hour online and there is no happy hour.
It is very boring outside, no music, slow service
Excellent service, great quality of food, nice ambiance, I would definitely go back there.
Thank-you Michael for doing a good job of serving our table and managing things on a very windy holiday.
The service wasn’t hands on and I asked for chips in the beginning and never ended up getting them.
Would’ve ordered more drinks if waitress came back sooner
Food was good. I had a party of 4 people and we were seated all the way in the back in a tight corner. It was a hassle to move around the tables and get seated. There were plenty of tables to have us seated elsewhere but they put us in the back. I would have liked better seating. Also, I wish the margaritas were cheaper for the size I got but it was good.
Great staff. Very attentive! And delicious food!!!
We got two margarita pitchers for $110 and we barely got four glasses cuss they where loaded with ice . Also we put a order of rice and beans that never came it was not what we expected for the money
Went there for a Birthday celebration started with the appetizers of guacamole it was OK chips were thin the Queso dip was milky and didn’t have enough cheese and the Chicken Quesadillas where dry with not enough chicken the burgers was amazing and tasty over all the experience was okay. Expected better.
Everything was okay but the timing to wait for your food was soooo long we waited for our food about a hour after ordering and we only got chicken quesadillas other than that everything else was fine will return again just hope for quicker service after ordering your meal
It was ok...nothing dynamite.
We never got our appetizer THAT THE SERVER RECOMMENDED which was literally just chips and guacamole. Our food took almost an hour to get. Took forever to even have ketchup brought to the table and i had to ask multiple times.
Dined for lunch and it was the worst fajita ever.....rice and beans were so hard. SMH.
Great place to eat outside in Covid times. They keep plenty of space in-between tables. I do not go to the restaurants that still try to pack people in no matter how good the food is...
The food was really great and the service was good.
Margs were amazing, food was delicious, will definitely be going back!
The food here is always amazing. No denying that.
Our waiter could have been more attentive. We had to ask other waiters for a drink refill more than once.
Also, we were seated outside, but some light music would have helped set the mood. The sounds of honking horns and cars passing is very NYC, but a little escape would be nice.
Food is so bland. It doesn’t taste like anything. Horrible quality of food.
They informed us when we sat down that the happy hour special advertised online and on the physical menus we were given was not available. Service was subpar and drinks were overpriced. Would not recommend.
The staff was very amenable to helping our party get exactly what we needed. The outside seating has been expanded and felt very safe in terms of social distancing. Definitely will come again!
We didn’t have place settings and water. Order was taken for more than an hour. After nearly another hour food showed up with incorrect and missing orders.
Very slow wait staff
A good outdoor space with tables well spaced. Wonderfully convenient to the Whitney and High Line.
very good food and good spacing between tables and people.
Terrible tasting good and awful setvice
During the pandemic it doesn't matter if you order food or do outdoor dining the quality of service and the quality of food is just dropped dramatically.
Good outdoor space...able to social distance and people watch. Had no resistance to sharing plates. OK drinks
We went here after our first re-visit to the Whitney since it closed down for Covid. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we wanted to enjoy an outdoor meal before it got too cold and nasty to do so. I'd never been to Dos Caminos before, but I have to say, I'll make a point of going back again. I love Mexican food, and theirs did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and all in all it was a great experience. Highly recommend!
Our server was professional, courteous, and attentive. The guacamole is one of the best in the city. The outdoor dining setup was conducive to safe and responsible socializing.
Service was awful. Food came out all wrong and the waitress was missing so we couldn’t even tell her. We ate our meal cold and overpaid extremely. Will not come back.
I was initially very happy to go to one of my favorite restaurants in NYC for my birthday. However the service did not reflect the restaurants reputation. The server was extremely rude, she slammed the water glasses down and didn’t even say hello, after we waited 10 minutes just to receive menus and some water.
It took over 25 minutes to receive our cocktails, including our second round. They even forgot a portion of our food order. I understand times are tough due to the pandemic and increase in demand of service. However it doesn’t mean the service should change. I would hope this is read and the service is changed as good customer service can mean a business thrives or doesn’t succeed especially during these trialing times.
It was really good just like it was before COVID-19
We asked about Happy hour and was told no since it’s normally held at the bar, really? Dos Caminos? There’s plenty of room in your outside dining area, what’s your excuse for Boozy Brunch?
That said, we had a great time and loved our waiter.
Anyone looking for Happy hour or Boozy brunch there’s plenty in the city! Fonda is one of them! You’re welcome! :)
Used to be the best dos Caminos spot. The food wasn’t what I was used to having, since I get the same things all the time. The servers seemed stressed and didn’t order some of the items correctly. I know it happens, but it’s just not the same. Will go to other locations to see if there is a difference.
giving this two stars instead of one because of the friendly server that we had. On their website it advertises that they have a bottomless brunch and they do not. Also, printed on their menu they have a happy hour which the server told us is not the case any day of the week. This establishment should consider re-printing their menus and updating their website as we waited over 35 minutes for a table just to be disappointed and leave.
Very high quality mexican food served by a very congenial staff under difficult circumstances. (Outdoor dinning only -COVID related) Watching from our seat , we were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff to both reservations and walk-ins.
Relaxing atmosphere. Food definitely prepared to order. Excellent ingredients .
Spicy meant spicy, not wimpy spice. We will return again.
Did a poor job with covid experience even though outside and felt uncomfortable. Need to improve.
Margaritas were great! The distance between tables was 6 feet or more which was super helpful. Staff wore masks at all times and didn't frequent the tables. My only issue was our server forgot to put our food in and then the kitchen closed. So that was super sad but we tried to be understanding with the first week back. I'm still hungry though haha
