Eagle's Eye Restaurant - Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
I'd only recommend it for the view, the staff were unfriendly and looked like they'd rather be anywhere else then helping us.
Amazing restaurant with the greatest view. Good service and good food. Loved it
It was very quiet as it was raining heavily and there was no view due to clouds but the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed the whole experience, would love to come back when you can see out of the window and it be a bit more lively
Even on a rainy day, the trip to the top and the views through the mist are great. The food is made at the top of a ski hill and gondola, so don't expect five star dining. The food was good, not spectacular. Service was good and efficient. I was quite annoyed that when making the reservation, it wasn't made clear that the price of the lift up ($40pp) was not included in the lunch price, if you want to order a la carte. You can order off a small lunch menu for a fixed price (C$70pp) which includes two courses and the gondola ride. The views make it a nice place to take visitors to the Rockies, especially on a sunny day.
Our lunch was great! We had some dietary restrictions that the staff helped us work around without making us feel awkward. Our server, Meg, was outstanding. She was very accommodating, friendly, and kind. The food was outstanding. The soup of the day was definitely worth trying the kale salad, burger, and jack fruit sandwich were all GREAT! Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.
The menu is very limited. Consider adding local foods like fish and meat to the menu.
Food was exceptional. Wife said the chicken wrap was the best sandwich she ever ate!
The experience was incredible, with excellent food and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Overall the dining was great. Food delicious. View and ambience from restaurant was fantastic. As well as view of all mountain ranges. My only surprise was the $45 gondola ride up - thought that was a bit much just to go eat at the top.
It was a great lunch. I enjoyed my beer battered cod but others in my party got the striploin and it was chewy. The truffle fries were great and the service was great. But we felt a little rushed because there was a wedding starting.
The view is incredible on a sunny day. The ambiance and food are a treat in any weather.
Couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to dine! Everything was great!
We came here on a sibling outing to celebrate two birthdays and a wedding. Eating at eagles eye was a great way to enjoy the views and eat delicious food.
We had a fantastic time. Good food and beverages. Great view!!
We opted for the dining package with lift pass which included a main meal and desert and soft drink , the food and service was excellent and the place and the view probably the best ever and we have travelled a lot !!!
abbey and the entire staff rock!!!! mel live you too!
The availability of blankets on the gondola down after the amazing evening was a great idea. Nice to snuggle up seeing golden in the valley lite up at night.
The beautiful blue skies and sunshine made for an awesome birthday celebration for our daughter.
The staff - all awesome!!
We had lunch from the menu that includes the lift ticket as well.
Our 24 year old daughter was not a cheesecake fan so I asked for a piece of chocolate cake that I would have been happy to pay for. No one charged me.
Service and food was outstanding.
Good job everyone, keep it up!!
Fantastic food, superbe service, the view is fantastic. Only comment is that we were told not to go up much earlier than our reservation, because of the lack of a bar and space. Once we got up we saw a bar and plenty of space. Give people a chance to get there half an hour earlier to enjoy the view!
I was just disappointed when I asked the server who bring us to the table if its possible we can seat right at the window and she said it was reserved but when other 2 people came after us and seated behind us after 3 mins she transferred them to that table that I was asking when we got there first. She wasn’t the one who serve us at the table she’s the one who stands at the entrance door to bring the customers in.
Clear sky. Spectacular sunset.Great food and dessert.I have been there before and enjoyed it, my partner though was visiting for the first time and was in awe of the view. We will be back!!
So far one of the most outstanding place we had diner. Next time we will rent the suite upstairs to spend a night at the Rockies highest point
Fantastic views. Rustic, mountain atmosphere in a fine dining setting.
It is such a beautiful location at the top of the mountain. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We would go back for sure!
Food was amazing! Great views and ambiance. Our server seemed to be having an off day however, and kept giving us incorrect information about food and drinks. Overall was good!
A memorable dinner in a spectacular setting. All staff were friendly- from the gondola attendant who offered blankets to the serving staff who were knowledgeable and welcoming
Good food on the top of the mountain. A bit pricy. But the view and the service is really nice. Would definetly recommend to a friend.
The food is absolutely fantastic, the ambiance, views and gondola ride really add to the overall experience which was very good.
All in all it was a fantastic experience, we had some nice drinks, some nice wine and salads, I had baked halibut which was perfectly prepared. One of my guests had the boar tenderloin and my other guest had the marinara with gluten-free pasta(she said it’s the best she’s ever had)
Our expectations with the food at Eagle Eye were met and surpassed, we had very enjoyable meals and great atmosphere.
I will be coming back soon!
A great meal with excellent service! This place never disappoints
Great food and awesome view !
Fabulous place to grab a bite on top of the mountain and surrounded by the mountains
Amazing views at sunset, great venue, great food, great services
Our server was amazing, she kept our water glasses full which after a hard morning of skiing is important. The food was very good, it is priced on the higher end but you are paying for the view and sit down experience. My husband asked for extra ketchup and we were charged $3.00 for a small amount. That seemed a bit steep, since the prices are already at the high end. Overall, I would recommend stopping for lunch.
Stunning views, nice ambiance, good food and drinks.
Food was good but not great. Service was polite but a little slow. Forgot to bring one item.....
Setting is beautiful.
Very friendly service, nice quiet atmosphere, fantastic pesto chicken pasta and Alberta tenderloin. The tomato soup was to die for. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic experience.
It is a special place to finish ur week long ski vacation.
Jenna was an awesome server and made our experience great. What a sweet person!
Had a great dinner, plenty of gluten free options and our waitress ‘Abbie’ was great. Highly recommended.
It was a spectacular ride up the gondola, great views from top before dark. Our waitress Caroline was awesome.
Great ambiance, splendid views and decent food. I’ve been coming here every year for past 10 years. The quality of food and drinks has been on a decline a bit. They used to make the best caesars in the world, now they are watered down, quite average. Nonetheless, if you are skiing Kickinghorse, do not miss coming here for lunch.
