Fade Street Social - The Gastro Bar

Our first visit, and we were very impressed. We had excellent advice from our server, Vinney (I hope that I have spelt this right), who continued to look after us through our meal. All of the tapas dishes were beautiful, but we would particularly draw attention to the duck spring rolls, which were exquisite.

The food was great, there was a nice atmosphere. I told them we were celebrating my friends engagement and they brought out a little dessert with a candle in it.

Our second time visiting Fade Street Social and it was even better than the first - love it here.

Top notch experience. Hadn't been there for a couple of years and they still remembered my sugar intolerance. The service is even better than the food and that is saying something.

Sit at the counter! Top service, top food! Tuna and duck are the winners!

Great, personable service and delicious food.

It was difficult to get the waiters attention in order to order drinks or food. The tapas were quite saucy and rich and quite similar. Good selection of cocktails but overall too expensive for the experience.

Have eaten here on many occasions. The food has always been superb but our visit on Saturday last was most disappointing as the service was terrible.

Counter experience extremely disappointing as we were looking to viewing some real cooking not just food prep a wasted opportunity to add something unique. Been asked to move from the counter after depart at 10:30 made no sense when the counter was virtually empty. Staff great!!

The food was spectacular. Inventive and flavorful. The restaurant is loud so be prepared but a really fun place

We went with a taste.ie voucher which meant a limited cocktail and food menu. Neither was in anyway limiting and easily adjusted for my gluten free restrictions. Staff were courteous and knowledgeable. My only concern would be that personal and table top space would be limited if busy. It was quiet when we were there and we sat at the counter, which was perfect.

Amazing meal for a group of 6. We were spilt for choice and the food was amazing. The black pudding and pork belly were amazing. Cocktails were fabulous. We all really enjoyed. Not cheap but well worth it.

Amazing food and overall very good, it was just very cold where we were sitting but all in all very happy and would go back

Loved the food, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great but it was so so cold. I had my coat on from dessert onwards. Ye really need to do something about it. I would only go back if i was sitting on the very opposite side of the restaurant to the door or else it was summer time!

Nice ambiance. Good food. Tapas-style. Some dishes better than others. What ruined the evening was the very poor service from our waiter. Order didn’t arrive. He messed up the payment. And was generally not property trained. His refrain was “sorry I’m new”. But a good restaurant should not allow untrained staff to serve customers. Pity.

service was a little bit too fast.
We were two persons and had seven tapas we received ‏Them altogether so unfortunately they were cold.
And it’s a pity because it was-very good quality and very tasty.
Anyway I can come again very good concept

Dire service, sat for over 20mins with out being served or even a drink order taken. Dishes came out fast and tasted good...little light but they were tapas. Slow to bring out dessert. No follow up with bill took ages to get servers attention. 3rd time here...very disdappointed. Wait service in thr bar upstairs not much better.

I found this place to be overly rated. I had heard about it from friends (mainly about the brunch) but found nothing of merit in this restaurant on a Saturday evening. The host seemed rude and uninterested when we arrived...the cocktail bar (where we were suggested to wait while our table was ready) was so crowded with no seats and loud we couldn't even begin to talk to each other...the food was mediocre and tables were cramped into a dull room. Server who got our bill at the end was nice and friendly but the rest of the experience was quite dull and will definitely not be returning.

Food was fabulous, staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and tranquil! Will definitely be back for more.

Amazing food, couldn't rate it more highly. Delicious! Buzzy atmosphere on all levels. Tables were a bit close together in the tapas bar, this and the noise can make it difficult to chat. But great night had by all, would definitely go again.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. Table needed after a certain amount of time, but they were very kind about asking for it and we could go upstairs with our drinks.

Tasty meal with friendly and attentive staff. Found the music a bit too loud though.

Food presentation good but taste was bland.
Ordered pasta, cauliflower and beef salad.
Of the three dishes the beef was the best.

Good atmosphere and tasty food but very small portions. Requested seated on booking and were disappointed to be seated at high tables with no back support.....benches are not comfortable. Service poor with wrong orders delivered three times, although staff were very apologetic and we did get extra fries free! Restaurant got colder by desert, reservation was for 8pm, and we had to wrap our scarves around us.

A really good experience for a work dinner, met by friendly staff on reception, dining staff really attentive but not too attentive so they got the balance really right. helpfulness with the menu and provided good recommendations. I would have like to be provided with some recommendations on wine for one of our guests, but that's the only moan, which is not really a moan. The food, however, was tops, every dish we ordered was delicious. Overall a really enjoyable experience

Good place for a buzzy evening. Service very friendly, food very good. We enjoyed ourselves as a group of 8. Would not recommend for a quiet evening a deux!

Food was very poor. Simple ingredients done badly.

I would highly reccommend to be seated at the bar, you can follow all the action! The food was outstanding, the service was very, very good.

We must go there again and try all the dishes we didnt try this time!!

Regular customer - staff and food are absolutely amazing.

When one enters the restaurant and is met by a
Young lady with an attitude problem who would be best suited to a different job as she was so unhappy and slightly arrogant. It does not give one a great feeling. Food was average nothing like it used to be.

Excellent food with delicious cocktails. Service was very slow but when servers did come to the table they were excellent, very attentive and obliging. It was a busy Saturday night so we understand they were working to max capacity.

Great food and atmosphere. We enjoyed the tapas selection and the hazelnut ice cream wa a possible the best we have tasted anywhere. We would definitely recommend this place for a fun night out with friends.
