Classic Irish stew with spiced cream, drops of potato mousse and crispy balsamic fillet, scented with lovage and celery leaves. (Served with crusty bread and hazelnut butter)
Soft boiled duck egg with local Irish potatoes and chervil
Great service and food as always. Never a disappointment. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
We had a very nice dinner with some yummy vegetarian plates. The amarone was fabulous!!! The tables are packed in tightly and it’s rather loud so it creates a rather vibrant setting. Overall it was a very enjoyable meal.
The food was excellent. We had a drink in the cocktail bar before hand. There was loud disco, dance music, which seemed out of keeping with what you’d expect in a cocktail bar at 8pm. We didn’t go back up there after as a result.
Overpriced and very noisy
€7 for a side of cabbage says it all.
Wonderful . Service was impeccable ... nothing rushed . Eve thing was delicious
Good food overall. Two of our group had the Halibut.. served look-warm. Just a bit too noisy for conversation at the table. Improved after a raucous group left.
Overall a good night with good friends, good food and good wine... what more can we ask?

Restricted menu on a Tuesday night was disappointing. Not as good as previous experiences in Fade St Social. Should have gone to Bistro for Tapas
The main dish was... just a main dish. Nothing to accompany it, except a few barleys. No bread was served, we had to pay for it and the main dish was served really quickly, we just received our drinks and it was there. In order to eat the food kind of warm we had to drink in a hurry, no time to order wine. And the drink was a Gordon Ramsay drink look alike. No signature, not impressed

We ate in the restaurant on a Saturday night. The place was a buzz, a great atmosphere. The food was really good. The best dish by far ws the mushroom ravioli, I would have happily eaten it as a main also. Our waitress, Kendra, was exceptional, she provided a 5 star service. It is on the expensive side, I wouldn't make it our regular Saturday night out, but for those rare occasions.
Starters Mushroom open ravioli took over an hour to arrive, when it did it was so salty it was inedible.
Then waited nearly another hour for mains. Chateaubriand which was served as a cremated piece of meat on the outside and raw under the crispy blackened crust with gristle and inside the main cut tendons, the meat juice resembled dirty dish water and the taste wasn’t far off lukewarm water with no taste.
Sides, New potatoes crushed baby potatoes that were crispy fresh raw in the middle and warm on the outside. Not a great experience eating raw potatoes.
Seasonal cabbage nice sized cabbage leaves slightly blanched in warm water should probably of been served with a pairing knife. But compliments to the chef for getting the leaves into the little pot.
The Blackened cauliflower & hazelnut, this was the most edible dish served, however nothing like I previously experienced at fade street.
We did eat some food as we were so hungry after traveling and hour and half, arriving at the restaurant for five to have a pre-dinner drink for a seating at six and served the above at eight. Watching people who arrived after us finishing their meal before we were served ours.
My worst experience ever at a restaurant. The bill was reduced by 50%, however once my favourite restaurant now correctly described by my partner as a ‘mitchelin mess!!’.
The server was generously tipped as she was a lovely girl, and continuously very apologetic each time we asked for our food. Dylan McGrath would maybe want to train the chefs or comeback and cook the food himself if he wants to retain his status as a renowned chef!!

2nd time at Fade Street Social and just as impressed. The Sugar Pit Pork Chop was the star of the show. When I next in Dublin will deffo be back.
Definitely visit if you’re visiting Dublin! It’s quite pricey but well worth it! Will be coming back next time we visit! Staff were very helpful and attentive!

Nothing wrong with it but was overpriced. Main course was lovely. Starter was average. Dessert was disappointing. I had a gift voucher but otherwise I would have been annoyed by the final price.
We went on valentines night. It was a set menu. Starters were cold. It was an hour wait for our main course. My partner ran to the toilet after the dinner due to an ill stomach.
Would not recommend on Valentine’s. Normally we love it but we were very disappointed today.
valentines! food was great , asked for pepper sauce for my steak and i was told the chef dosent use it in his kitchen! i was sceptical but after i tasted the steak i was amazed no need for anything else except what was already there!

It was irl v scotland , 2 courses for 30euro to include a pint and a glass of wine. Food was absolutely delicious. Very high quality.

When you're at a restaurant, and you're having convos with your party or partner and you realize around the end of the evening that you did't dislike ANYTHING about your meal or the ambiance/vibe and you have not had to hail your server ONCE....

The most overrated restaurant in Dublin. Service and value for money leaves a lot to be desired. Very expensive piece of steak, not a bit wonder the beef farmers are complaining when they see the price restaurants are charging. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Although we could not fault the staff for their friendliness and professionalism and the menu for its range of food, the noise levels brought our rating down. It was uncomfortably loud and we were unable to have a conversation. Because of this we declined desserts and coffee and choose to walk back to our hotel for both.
Great service and ambience and location. Venison outstanding and mushroom ravioli delicious. Just wish they would give you more ravioli.
The meat here was the best we'd had in a restaurant for a long time. Service was excellent and we had a very pleasant server. Our only bugbear was the noise level - with no soft furnishings it was very loud and almost defeated even the younger members of our party!
