Personalized customer service. Excellent staff, attentive and friendly. Food was scrumptious. Everything on the menu is authentic, a real Italian cuisine experience!

I was disappointed with the menu selection for both food and alcohol. The ambience was lacking and the hostess wore her mask below her nose the entire time. Our waitress however was very sweet, however she admitted she worked next door and was doing them a favor. We ordered the bruschetta and it was lacking flavor and visual appeal. I will not be returning.

The restaurant staff from The time we walked in were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was really fresh and delicious. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was perfect, very fresh and not at all greasy. I would recommend

Filippo’s was AMAZING! I highly recommend the pasta with pink sauce. Marvelous and the server was really nice and attentive. I would definitely come back.

Amazing experience.

My girlfriend tells me that this Italian food is better than what she was actually served in Rome and Florence. I’ve eaten here with her twice and I’ll never hesitate to go back! Gerardo (Gerry) is an excellent server and his company is part of the experience. We had the entire place to ourselves and it was a grand time. Start with the Focaccia, you won’t regret it! The Pomodoro is to die for, chicken and pasta cooked to perfection, and the fresh mozzzarella topped it all. It’s incredibly affordable considering portion size and quality, and if I could eat there every night, I would! Give them business and keep them in the North End forever!

WE love Filippos, pre Celtics game. Even during Covid the Celts were on at 9PM Friday so we drove in town for dinner at Filippos before the game, made it home in time for the tip-off.

Another outstanding meal before our event at the TD Garden. The food is always delicious and the portions are huge. The staff was playful and attentive. They make you feel like a regular every time you come in to dine. Our go to place for traditional Italian dishes before the Bruins or Celtics games!

I have been going to Filippo Restaurant for over 20 years. It is a get place to o especially before n event at the garden. They are only a short walk to an event and their wait staff understands the importance of you getting there on time. Their food is always fresh and served hot., and their sauce is one of the best in the north end. Prices are reasonable and their wait staff is excellent.

Our 2nd Valentine's dinner...we'll be back every year! The food is exceptional and the waiters are great, quick with a suggestion and answers to any question.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff plus good food

The waitress had pretty inappropriate conduct: she would grab my shoulder when speaking to me, negatively comment about my girlfriend’s appetite, commanded me to fill my own water, yell across the dining space at coworkers, crowd my table waiting for us to order, and she kissed my cheek at the end of the dinner, invading personal space; all things a waitress should not do to their customer. I know one might blame it on her old age or very Italian background, but I was uncomfortable for much of the dinner. The food was mediocre and way overpriced. I would not take my date to dinner there again.

My boyfriend and I went out for Valentine’s Day. We actually had a reservation for a different place but ended up at Filippo’s which was a turn for the best! The service was excellent, the food was superb and the overall experience was fantastic. We had no idea this place was around for 30+ years! We will definitely be coming back again and again.

Went to pregame before Bruin's. The place was buzzing. We had dinner for 5 people. Food was excellent, on time and delicious. Great drinks too. Definite place to go anytime. Loved LuLu the host.

best Italian I’ve ever had

We were seated and served promptly. The food choices were good and the food chosen by each member was enjoyable. I was disappointed fresh grated cheese was not an option as a topical addition for the custom taste. The wine we ordered was good and when buying by the glass a generous pour is provided.

Great atmosphere if you appreciate the authentic neighborhood restaurant. Family atmosphere from the moment you walk in and you feel like a welcomed member of the family. Food is great with very big portions.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic! Great food, great service and really nice atmosphere. Perfect place for before/after events at TD Garden.
My husband left his jacket there when we left- and the hostess texted us to let us know AND brought it out to us when we pulled up to the restaurant! Amazing customer service- and amazing overall experience.
We will definitely go back and we highly recommend this wonderful place.
