Ein tolles Essen bei traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht.
Es hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt und der Service war auch erstklassig! Immer wieder wenn wir in San Francisco sind.
Everything seafood. Food was superb. Nice view on the water. Great place to dine with our out of town guests.
Food was not quite like it was before. Seemed a little bit unorganized especially at lunchtime.
Unfortunately, this dining experience was just awful. I’ve dined at this restaurant several times over the years and this is the first time I experienced this all around disaster! The busboy continuously slammed the cleaned dishes against each while stacking them, then he would drop a few which would shatter. The noise was deafening. The glasses and cutlery on our table were dirty, but my favorite was staff vacuuming the adjoining table area while we dined. Where was management? The only bright spot was our waitress who did a great job. I’m not even going to mention our meal. Utter fail.
Came here for dinner with 5 other ladies. The 1/2 crab was great, muscles and shrimp (apps) were too. Food was so good we went back the next day. The fish and chips are divine, fried perfectly, not greasy, and the fries are crisp and seasoned well. Nice wine and drink menu as well. The manager of the establishment is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
The views are great here, food was delicious, but the service was extremely slow and everyone working there that we came across seemed to be very unhappy. I understand staffing is hard to come by right now but we waited 30 minutes even before getting acknowledged to order drinks/appetizers. The wait would have been ok if the attitude of our server would have been even somewhat decent. Maybe everyone was just having a real bad day working there.
Had a very decent meal here. Ordered oysters - miyagis- which were delicious! We had crab Louie , crab melt, chicken fettuccine and sea bass with small pasta and mixed veg. All delicious. Cocktails were good too
Great spot to go to food and staff were wonderful not a place for everyday but well worth it in San Francisco
Upon arriving, I needed to use the restroom: it was in terrible condition. The port-a-potties onboard the SS Jeremiah we’re cleaner! I reported this to the staff who seated us. 2 hours later, just before paying the bill, I again used the restroom: it was in even more deplorable co diction. The same paper towels were on the floor, the floor was even wetter under the towel dispenser, and the waste receptacle was overflowing. In fact, when I first used the restroom, I I. Ediately noticed that the waste receptacle was full, so I grabbed an empty paper towel roll and squashed down the paper. The receptacle was now 2/3 full. The second time, I again grabbed an empty paper towel roll and attempted to squash down the paper. Even so, it was as full as it could be. When I’m paying $175 for dinner for 2 without dessert, plus tip, I would expect more concern over the reporting of a messy bathroom.
Everything was just Awesome
Timely seated - good selection- timely service. Overall good value for the area.
Returned for a birthday celebration and as always the food and drinks tasted amazing. The service is spectacular and the ambience, well you get a view of the bay on the San Francisco Bay. This is the fourth time dining here and they continue to strive in all areas.
Great food , service and views!
Delicious. Had a window seat an could see the Blue Angels practicing.
Had 3 ice dreams 3 coffees $84
The crab was amazing, great attentive service, cool old-Hollywood style inside and gorgeous views. Did feel it was a little expensive for what you get. For instance, they do not provide bread, you have to order and pay for it. It has a fancy name and everything. But what we received was cold French bread roles and a cold cut of a stick of butter. Little details like that matter to me about value but overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would go back.
I HATE it when a stranger brings my food from the kitchen and it is NOT what I ordered, THEN you do not see the wait person for 8 minutes. Caesar Salad with Crab was very good, Sea Bass was only so so, Raspberry Cheese Cake was good. Was cool watching the fog come into the Bay.
Very poor service. We were seated at a dirty table in the far corner. The waiter seemed overworked and rushed.
The service was good but the food was just OK. I ordered double crab and double shrimp and the shrimp still have the veins in them which of course I sent back and just got an extra set of crab. They also require you to have your vaccination card which is OK but there’s nothing on their website or reservation link that states that.
We loved the 50’s ambiance. Service was amazing! The food was excellent especially the clam chowder. We will be back!
First time experience in San Fran. Took a chance to book this restaurant before I arrived in San Fran. Not disappointed one bit. The food was phenomenal. The Ariel martini not so much.
Alberto, the server, shouldn’t be working in the hospitality industry. He was the rudest ever. Maybe he had a bad day but he should’ve just called in sick rather than be at work and treating his customers with so much disgust and dismay. He is working in a restaurant that carries crab in its name and yet he doesn’t know anything about crabs. When we tried to order the crab feast, Alberto kept insisting that we don’t actually get a whole crab but instead we would be getting 30 crab legs and that it was too much for 3 people. When we asked him why does it say “whole crab” on the menu, he looked annoyed and repeated his “you get 30 crab legs” line. The soda we ordered didn’t seem to taste like coke and we politely asked him if he give us a new glass, he said even if he will give us a new glass of soda, it will still taste the same with matching rolling eyes. The food wasn’t that great. We’ve been to better seafood restaurants with better service at a much cheaper price. The only thing great was the ambiance and the view. I guess that’s was the trade off but I will never recommend this place to anyone. There are other better choices in that area if you’re craving for crabs.
Excellent dinner, service and overall experience! Thank you for making our Anniversary dinner extra special with your surprise delicious dessert! We will be back again!
Great attentive service. Food was good. Nice table view of Alcatraz.
Great food, great views and great service. Prices are very comparable.
Great service but ambience of a restroom. Too much clatter and photos of celebration had never been there. Too pricey. That said a great view at sunset and strong service crew.
Food is good. The butter couId be better. The view is pretty nice
Yuri was our server. We got the latest reservations at 8pm. He did not rush us and the food was amazing. We were a party of 6 and the service was exceptional.
Seafood Cioppino was first class!
Great service, tasty food, with an amazing view. We’ll be back for sure.
Service was very good, food was straight whack. Shouldnt be $90 for nasty crab legs
We hosted a party of four last Wednesday at the Franciscan. Parking was readily available. Menu choices were reasonably diverse although largely centered on unique turns on seafood which was to be expected. Food quality was excellent. Waiter service was excellent, being neither rushed nor neglectful. Decor was somewhat ordinary. We had a front row view of Alcatraz and the bay. Altogether this was a very pleasant experience.
The waiter was awesome, food was great! We sat outside and it was beautiful.
Dungeness crab was outstanding with the garlic dressing! The crab melt sandwich and clam chowder bowls were fantastic! Cocktails were amazing!
Everything was great!
Wonderful experience from overall. The ambience was quiet and romantic. The view of the ocean and the bay was perfect, although a bit foggy, but that’s nothing the restaurant can control. The food was excellent; we had the filet mignon and it was cut perfectly, and also had the clam chowder bread bowl with dungeoness crab, which was phenomenal. It was a perfect dinner before attending an event in the city. I would definitely go again, and would recommend anyone else to go.
Azriel is an exceptional server. He anticipates what you want and need and has it done. I hope to have him in the future.
Our reservation on a Sunday afternoon was at 2:15. We came from I-80 corridor in the East Bay and traffic was moderate until we got on the Bridge. Getting into the Parking Lot was bad, sign said "Temporarily Full", we ended at the Pier 39 garage. They off course do not validate for F.C. Restaurant. We checked in at 3:00 and we were accommodated. After presenting our vaccination cards, everything else went well. Our server greeted us politely, got us a bottle of wine, and took our order. We ordered all the best things on the menu: Super combo mussels, shrimp and crab (2) bread bowl clam chowder, fried calamari, seafood cioppino, crab louie, and seafood fettucine. It was a birthday celebration for a special guest. All those within 15 minutes sizzling and hot. Everything sooo good. Server very attentive. Nice ambiance and super clean. We will definitely return in near future.
