the lamb and the chicken milanese....were excellent---not easy to have a conversation due to the noise
Amazing meal. Highly recommend the chicken Milanese! Food service was perfectly timed. Everything from cocktails rot desert was on point.
Usual good food. Chicken Milanese outstanding. Service was spotty at best. The server kept disappearing leaving everything up to the bussers to handle. Long wait for the check. What happened to the once wonderful service?
The Chicken Milanese is really spectacular. The lamb loin was cooked to perfection but not seasoned enough for my taste. The couscous was a touch dry as well, but everything was so good it didn’t take away from our experience. The onion soup and patatas appetizer were both really great. The tomato sauce is underneath the potatoes so they stay nice and crispy. Their cocktails and wine list were fantastic as well. We can’t wait to go back.
Very loud back room. Avoid if possible.
Gracious welcome, good service, delicious food (Chicken Milanese and Mushroom risotto). Will gladly return.
Space is convivial, menu has some perfectly prepared longtime favorites, waiters are attentive and helpful, but most important are the servers. They are efficient, helpful and so friendly. If something is missing or not up to snuff they immediately and respectfully make it right! The servers are the heart and soul of this restaurant. Bravo!
Happy to return to one of our favorite restaurants! Garibaldi’s food consistently excellent; wait staff friendly and attentive. Chicken Milanese, Wild Mushroom Risotto, and lamb main course are recommended. Nice wine list, too. You will be pleased with this neighborhood favorite. Parking is relatively easy, too.
Fantastic place, they don't overdo it. Jut great simple food.
This is a nice neighborhood spot. I had higher expectations. The food was good, and the service was generally excellent. We shared a chopped salad, which was very good. We each got the cioppino. For $35 I thought it was very light on seafood. My friend could not eat his and ordered some risotto. It was good but also a fairly small portion - neither dish was a good value. If I lived in this neighborhood I’d probably eat here often. Since I don’t, I’m unlikely to go back soon.
bartender NEVER wore mask.bussers were the best ''servers''..hostess was a rock star!!
The food was underwhelming and very lukewarm. I had high hopes it would be a fulfilling Thanksgiving experience. This was definitely not a $90 meal.
Good, but underwhelming for the price tag at Thanksgiving.
Have had many a good meal here off the regular menu, but would not return again for a holiday meal. Service was excellent.
Wonderful! From being greeted at the door, to the impeccable service, delicious food, and delightful atmosphere. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving holiday a stress-free success.
We had to sit at a tiny table of two close together with another table of two and were so close that it was like we were double dating even when tables round us were empty. Why not separate us more or at least give us a table for four if no one was using one which was the case in the upper back room. The ambience is not great in that upper room so give us something more like a bigger table perhaps? Ryan was our waiter and he was very kind like everyone else there. We had to pay extra for bread and butter and it wasn't anything special.
Delicious chicken mildness and good wine by the glass selection. A great neighborhood restaurant.
Service was terrible. Barely saw our waiter. Got our drinks after the 3rd course arrived. Sat with empty plates in front of us until we left. We live so close and it would be so convenient but it will be a long time before we go back.
Had dinner here last night. Very disappointed. Not back to pre-pandemic standards at all. Waiter was non-existent for the majority of our meal. Had to ask twice to have water brought to table. Had to flag busboy to let waiter know we would like to order 2nd round of cocktails. Had to request that first course dishes be cleared away after sitting on table for 30 minutes. Ordered Acme baguette bread for the table with butter. What they brought was STALE! Cold. Inedible. Wild Mushroom risotto was delish. Shrimp scampi was similarly tasty but kitchen was very stingy with pasta portion and the shrimp. (Menu describes them as Texas Gulf shrimp. These were most definitely not Texas Gulf shrimp. They were, however, the size of my pinky...) Not worth the price or our time.
Always sit at the same table- quiet andlight by the window food and service are always great- staff is very welcoming!!!!
Love Garibaldies! 💖!
We really enjoyed Garibaldi's, but it was so loud that I couldn't hear our very nice server. We were packed in, and while we had to show our COVID vaccination cards and ID, it was quite distracting and difficult.
We enjoyed the ambiance much more when the two parties at adjacent tables left.
The food was delicious. The service was outstanding!
Servers are great. Food comes out quickly and never disappoints. Chicken Milanese is the best!
Outstanding service and food! I arrived early and was seated anyway which was super kind considering how busy they were.
Our server, Ryan, was AMAZING. Knowledge and patient.
I had the lamb entree.... the lamb was overcooked and the couscous was dry. The sauce the lamb wore was tasty if scant. The Brussels sprouts were quite good - I ate them all except a couple that I shared, grudgingly. My dinner partners had the Chicken Milanese: it looked beautiful but the taste I had was greasy. I didn't have any of its accoutrements. The Negroni was spectacular - one of the best I've had outside of my place... it isn't a difficult drink to make but so many bartenders don't seem to have figured it out and most don't know that orange is an imperative accompaniment. Kudos!!
nice spot for date night out, friends get together or just for a delicious quite dinner for any number of people. will definitely go back
We love garibaldis and are frequent visitors. The service from our waiter was non existent.
An elegant, sophisticated neighborhood gem. Warm, inviting, enlightened by soft bossa nova and sleek dark mirroring Flavors, presentations, accommodations and service were all high grade.
The food and service is incredible! I had the chicken Milanese, which was to die for. Very large piece of delectable chicken breast and a very ample amount of mashed potatoes, with a delicious delicate sauce .
Always love Garibaldis!
Unfortunately we did not have our best experience at Garibaldi last night. Our service was very poor. Not sure what happened with our order but people seated next to us, seated after us were finished eating before we even got our meal. We had to ask other servers to find our waiter etc... Not a typical Garibaldi experience.
Love Garibaldi's. Our neighborhood spot. Warm and friendly. Food is terrific.
Ambience, food, and service were excellent- can’t wait to go back. The chicken Milanese is a must but everything is great
The halibut wasn't satiating as expected, but the short ribs were impressive for my guest. I continue to return and sample the menu.
Great food and service. Been going for many year’s 👍⭐️
Arrived a little early but ended up having to wait a little while past our reservation time to be seated, took a long time to just get water (our appetizers came first!), but our server was very nice and apologetic, bottle of sparkling water was very flat, appetizers were delicious, main courses were pretty good but maybe a little short of its price point. Couple we were next to were coughing and sneezing the whole time and never put a mask on the whole time they were inside despite rules to wear when interacting with staff and moving around the restaurant
Tables are very close to each other; bad if you have a loud neighbor. They seated a woman next to us who tried to squeeze by with a large purse. Caught my wine just in time; would've gone all over me. Ordered a salad and entree to split. They brought together. Usually a server will ask if you want the salad first. Also, very small table that couldn't hold all the dishes. No menu for dessert so server told us about them. Sorry guy but that wasn't cheesecake. Had to ask for cream for coffee and forks for dessert. People around us were complaining about how long it took to get a drink; 20 minutes for a beer one guy said. They need to get it together.
Love this neighborhood spot ! So friendly and familiar 😀
