Didn't realize we dining on the last day Goose and Gander was to be open. No specials which was disappointing. It was rather cold and we seated outside with only one heater (we asked for a second but they could not move to our table). Ate with our coats on and could see our breath. Would try the restaurant again as long as it's warm or we can eat inside.

Wow the experience at goose and gander was truly special. Ben was a fantastic server and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Napa Valley. I was arriving late to the reservation but the hostess who picked up the phone was kind enough to push back our reservation to a time we could make it. Couldn’t have asked for a more Memorable dining experience in the heart of Napa Valley. Highly recommend the mushroom soup, toasted octopus appetizers along with the G&G burger.

Everything was fabulous! We really enjoy this local favorite.

Really enjoyed the decor and the staff was fantastic. We found the octopus to be outstanding however out other choices were merely fair. I imagine a good deal of that was due to COVID.

The waitstaff ROCKED! The fact that they designated last night and tonight’s proceeds to all go to employees, says so much about those who run the business! We will definitely return to this fabulous restaurant!

We ate here prior to them closing for the winter. While we were able to get a table indoors (which was great considering how cold it was outside), they had set up heat lamps in the courtyard to make it lovely. The food was both quick and delicious. Enjoyed a great bottle of wine, terrific food, and outstanding service. Would go back for sure.

G&G never disappoints. They are always working to make the experience, food and drink top notch.

They cancelled our reservation when we were 20 minutes late due to a torrential down poor and unexpected traffic AFTER I had called and explained the situation and they said they could accommodate us. I’ll never go back and have told all of our friends to skip that. Charter oak is way better anyway.

We had to sit outside because of the covid restrictions. There were heaters but it was cold!!! Regardless, it was the BEST BURGER I have ever had. It was worth the chattering teeth and cold feet. Service was awesome too!!

Great lunch with my wife. We ordered a few things from the appetizer menu and a steak to share, as we are not big eaters. The chicken wings and roasted octopus were excellent. Mushroom soup was great.

But, the persimmon salad was not good. They explained that the chef mistakenly used fruit from the wrong source. It tasted terrible - like a coating of paint in your mouth. So, they made up for it by bringing the persimmon salad again, using the right fruit this time. They also took it off the bill. The second version was very good, so it ended up ok. The NY strip was superb. Love the outside dining area they have - nice atmosphere.

Fabulous birthday celebration for my husband. Tables nicely spaced, servers were wonderful, attentive, professional and provided wonderful service. Only disappointment- no goose or duck on the meny due to covid.. however the food was fabulous. Brussel sprouts amazing, mushroom soup the best we have ever had.

Beautiful and comfortable patio setting (outdoor dining due to Covid). Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Super friendly reception and quick to seat us. Once seated got our special happy anniversary menu’s. They brought us a very nice glass of champagne. Sparkling or tap water was a nice option. Great cocktail options and a magnificent wine list. Service was attentive and efficient. My wife had the waygu filet mignon, I had the tomahawk pork chop. Sides were the wedge salad and root vegetables. Both main dishes were exceptional and memorable. The chutney on the pork created a perfect pairing. The steak was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. We wanted a night to remember for our 40th, we got to thanks to the team that put together this special evening.

We hadn't been to Goose and Gander in a while, and were delighted with the experience. We had an outdoor table in their lovely, shaded patio, with plenty of room between tables. It's also dog-friendly, which we appreciated. And the food was delicious. I had the burger with a duck egg on top (excellent!), and truffle fries, and my partner had brick chicken, which was also excellent. And good draft beers and a martini for m e.

We waited 30 minutes for our table, even though our reservation was for 830 on a Saturday night, and they stopped seating at 9pm. Then we were warned that the kitchen was closing! So... this is a great menu if you're coming in for a deeply rich, fattening, dense meal. And nothing else. I honestly do not get the hype about this place. If I am rating it just on the gorgeous ambiance, then it's 5 stars. But other than that - the food was okay, the service was fine, the prices were ridiculous.

From beginning to end, our dining experience was perfect. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate my birthday in the midst of this pandemic and it was such a welcomed (and safe) escape from our socially distanced norm. The staff was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious!

Perfect sunny day; beautiful satisfying lunch. We had the burger; pork burger; and the wedge with steak. The fried olives and blistered peppers. The ambiance; service and food were off the chain!!!! We will Be back!
