My husband and I experience at Grace’s Mandarin was good from beginning to end. We will be back soon! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
First time coming and not disappointed. Service and food is top notch!
We really liked Grace’s Mandarin because of the location, the ambiance of the decor, and the food was pretty good. But the value for the food we thought was not that great, so it’s probably a one and done restaurant for us.
I have been to Grace's Mandarin many times now and have never been disappointed with the service or the delicious food. It's my favorite spot!
We went here for happy hour. Food was great and served fast. Drinks were top notch although a little pricey imo for a happy hour special. Will definitely be back.
I ate at Graces almost everyday when they were in Bowie. MD when I was pregnant 15 years ago. I still go and they have only gotten better with time. My 15 year old son loves the food as well.
Nicole G provided excellent service. Scallops were delicious. Great Ambiance.
Server was informative and attentive. Our friends were running late and she was patient and made sure we were comfortable while we waited. Great place for a date night!
could not see the menu, I had to use my cell phone
New Year 2019 at Grace Mandarin was FABULOUS!!!!
Overpriced for the occasion. We dined New Year’s Eve. Very small portion of food. Overall the food and service was great.
My favorite restaurant. Love. The food is amazing. The atmosphere. And the location
Great service and food. Perfect for a birthday celebration. Seated quickly since we had reservations. Great window view of the harbor!!!
Went here for a holiday celebration and it was perfect for a celebratory atmosphere. They have a fantastic bento box option for kids that even includes a cookie. The wait staff was a little tardy at times, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to the entire experience. Excellent Chinese food!
Waiter was rude and impatient. We felt rushed to order then he never came back to check on us, another waiter picked up our table.
Great first time here. Food was great, service was a little spotty but the place was packed. Will definitely come back.
We kept our reservations for party of 8 on Saturday December 29th.
My go-to place whenever I'm in the area. Food is excellent and I'm never ever disappointed.
Great first date place
Great food and nice ambiance. Will definitely be back.
From the cocktails till desert, Grace's Mandarin was a delight. Our favorite appetizers where the soft crab tempura, lamb chops and the crab avocado bowl. All done perfectly with very nice accompanying sauces. Main dishes included sushi, mixed seafood entrees and duck and scallops. The show case was the fried whole fish which is pictured. We shared fried banana deserts which where tempura battered with ice cream. Nil our main server did a wonderful job. Treated us like family and took great care of us. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area especially staying at the Gaylord. Just a short walk to get there.
Delivers on kitchy decor and robotic staff, none of which could care at all about service: from the host who asked us to wait 5 min for them to prepare a table (we arrived on time for our reservation) to the server who couldn't be bothered to check that our order was wrong and literally tossed our check in our general direction. Hard pass.
For the price of the food the portion was really poor.
Between 3 of us ( me and two kids ) we shared 4 dishes and we left the place still hungry!!
Excellent experience. Wonderful food and lovely atmosphere.
The food was good, but it was not amazing. I expected it to be tastier considering the pricing. It may has been my food choices, but I expected everything to be amazing not average.
Our Christmas dinner was great at this restaurant. Food was just authentic and mouth watering. Enjoyed their soups, appetizers and main course.
3rd time visiting on christmas Staff is friendly and happy. We always have a reservation and are seated immediately.
Christmas dinner. Servers were very good—friendly, engaging, timely. They were the highlight. The space is decorated interestingly (if over the top) but it was so dark you really couldn’t see much. Noise level was moderate to loud. Food was...meh. I had chicken/shrimp with asparagus and it was way too salty. I ate it without complaining to the server because we were on a time crunch and I was hungry. But it really was not very good. My husband said his crispy beef was “ok” but that he didn’t think the food prices reflected food quality. Not likely to return.
Every visit to Grace's Mandarin is special. We can't resist the crispy eggplant, which is consistently perfect. Everything we've ordered on the menu throughout the years is delicious. I especially appreciate the many vegetarian options available. The service is on-point.
It was wonderful the staff was very accommodating and friendly, the food was superb and the establishment was impeccable.
The ambiance is very unique and interesting but as a dining experience, we had a terrible time. We went with my elderly parents, family of five and they sat us at one of those weird seating arrangements they had which was very small table for four and very uncomfortable. We were there early and they had plenty of larger tables. We ordered five dishes and we came out hungry! Their dishes are so small barely enough for one person let alone for sharing but the charges are crazy. On top of that very poor presentation and service. We ordered the whole fish for 39$, which came a curled up fried thing, without any utensil. None of the dishes had utensils by the way. The fish, no one came to bother to cut and clean. I basically had to use my hand and was very uncomfortable. They never even bothered to come and ask if we need anything. The 19$ fried rice, was the size of a small cereal bowl. Very unsatisfied experience.
I had crispy salmon with mango relish. Good to the last bite. Beautful decor and splended view. I remember commenting on how crowded it was but noise level was controlled to a reasonable level.
Everything was delicious on Dec. 25! My family enjoyed our first holiday dinner in a resturant! I only wish the crab cake was larger😝
My family had a blast for Xmas lunch. We were seated on the third floor with amazing views of the waterfront. The place was festive & we had plenty of privacy for a large party.
The place is so dark you need your cell phone flashlight to read the menu. The reason the place is so dark is so you can't see how dirty the table and floor are where you are seated. Our table was pretty sticky. For a restaurant that is so dark you would expect a quieter atmosphere, but combined with the loud, piped in music, the noise level is excessive. The food was ok but over priced for what you got and the service, while friendly, was slow and inattentive. Not worth the 101.00 we paid and I dont plan to go back.
I followed a recommendation by eating here and truly loved it. The meal was superb with generous portions. Loved it.
Love this place. Pricey, yet worth every penny!!!
The restaurant has great decor and very fast servers. The food was great tasting. I had gotten sick after eating here, but couldn’t determine from what dish.
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our dinner at Grace's. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. And we particularly liked the drunken noodles and the special fried rice. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent food and exceptional service. Made reservation, which they honored on a crowded holiday night.
