Harvest at Pheasant Run Resort
The food was mediocre, bland, and lacking of flavor.
A bit disorganized when we arrived on time. I sensed they had a shortage of waitpersons as we waited 10 minutes after being seated for someone to acknowledge us. It was a Saturday night and they had a couple of large tables with people laughing and screeching which made talking with my 3 other dinner companions difficult. One of the servers was an older gentleman who was quite brusque and rude when retrieving and serving dishes. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. Our waitperson, once she showed up, was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable about the menu items we asked about.
Pricey like most things at PRR. But good meal.hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Very pleasant dinner. Waitress was very nice. Food was excellent.
Three of the four meals were excellent. My rack of lamb, which I was told that it was good enough to die for, was terrible. I brought guests to you restaurant because I had experienced great meals in the past. I ordered my rack of lamb medium rare and it was, at best medium well if not well done and had very little flavor. That is definitely the way to ruin lamb.
Jeanette did a wonderful job!! Thank you for everything !! I feel the whole resort needs a remodel!! Everyone was super nice, but the Resort is exactly the same when I was there 10 years ago!!
Dinner was wonderful. Your service, however was lacking. The hostess was never informed of our reservation, thankfully they weren't busy.
We had 6:30 reservations and tickets for the 8 show. Both the hostess and server asked and confirmed we had show tickets. The appetizer came rather quickly, but by 7:30 we were still waiting on our entrees, they arrived at 7:43. The prime rib was lukewarm, and my wife's scallops were not prepped correctly and were full of sand!! Farm to table is great, but leave the "farm dirt"off the table.
With no time to send food back, let alone order and enjoy dessert, we scarfed down a mediocre $100 dinner in order to make the show on time. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.
No price value, and completely no respect for our time.
Enjoyable dinner with friends before Zanies. I would highly recommend.
Food and service were excellent! The servers were very attentive and even offered us a special dessert because it was our anniversary!
In the Pheasant Run. Great for pre-show dinner! Great pasta and steaks. Steak prepared as ordered!. Nice quiet and with excellent service!
Very good food at a very fair price. Service a bit slow, but, in the end the prime rib and Halibut was very good, and I would recommend Harvest to any of my friends.
The menu offered a great variety of food. Our server Andrea was excellent. The restaurant was conversation friendly. The prices were reasonable. I do think the wine list could include a couple of higher end wines in each category. However, we would definitely return.
Such a very dated ambiance don’t ever need to come back
Food was “ok “ nothing more
Such a let down
Great steaks! The sea food received high praise. We had a great medallions and blue cheese dish appetizer that we all enjoyed. Service was very good also.
Dinner reservations for 6 at 7:15- for my husbands 50th...webhad the zanies dinner and breakfast package- as did another couple with us and the third couple with us had no package. When we arrived we were informed they were sorry but the Valentine menu was all that was available to us either ala cart or the fixed....well when I chose online our package it clearly stated the Valentine menu was for the Valentine dinner only. So in ourvpackage we get a 25 dollar food credit each towards dinner... Well without the regular menu being available we wete forced to spend 49.99 each for this Valentine menu..the ala cart was overpriced as well and came out the same or more...the choices were not good enough...I do not like blue cheese for salad dressing nor lobster for soup...and the waitress would not let us substitute anything....it is not okay and it was quite bait and switch. We wound up paying alot more money then we should have as did our friends. The food. I could eat was good I would not recommend. Not to mention our very unpleasant room 3217 which was old musty moldy and the loft bed area was 100 degrees compared to the lower room which was 60..that side of hotel should be condemned. It was a total disaster for my husbands 50thband our 18th wedding anniversary itvwas not a Valentine celebration ot was the 16th and that iscafter Valentines there should not have been forced menu...total b.s....brunch on Sunday was a fkng nightmare as well in Jambalya...no service atvall waited tonget seated forever and no waitress no coffee no water ...very disgusted with our entire experience.
Food was good, service was perfect, not too fast or slow, ambience is very nice, location is great if you are going to Zanies Comedy Club.
Went there to celebrate my Birthday. Had dinner first and then went to Zanies. It was so convenient because since it is so cold it was nice to park the care once and be able to go to dinning and entertainment in one location. Everyone enjoyed their meal and stated they would come back again. Restaurant bought me a birthday cake. Unfortunately it was chocolate and I am allergic so they bought me another dessert. Very nice touch. Excellent service in getting our order and food. A little slow on taking payment as we needed to get to the show. Other than that an excellent experience. Would recommend to my friends.
Perfect anniversary dinner from appetizers, thru entrees, and on to dessert. Also a very fine wine list.
We went for our 12th anniversary and while I was sad that the meatloaf I had several years ago was no longer on the menu the veal saltimbocca was amazing! Our waitress was very great and even insisted we get dessert on her as an anniversary gift to us.
Both veal & salmon were great! Wedge salad w/ Boston Bibb lettuce very nice vs. normal iceberg. Of course, sweet potato fries are always yummy!
Our waitress forgot about us. The clams were so salty we could not eat them. The rest of the food was plain. My cut of filet was cooked to the right doneness (rare) but was poor quality of meat and was tough and flavorless. My friend’s fish was dry. The side vegetables are a bag of frozen veggies boiled- something I would expect from a cafeteria, not a $100+ meal. Best thing I ate was mashed potatoes.
Every time we needed anything from water, drinks or meal, we had to flag down the waitress. The food was pretty good, but not hot. Never did get a salad that we ordered. She seemed like she didn't care at all and at the end got a little nasty. We told the manager and the hostess.
Was not happy with the service or food. Told waitress we can not have mushroom and she wrote it down and what did they put on are food. Yes mushrooms. It took for ever for the food we had to take it to go. Was not happy and when I asked for the managers they never can to us. Never go their again and it was are 20th wedding anniversary dinner.
drove by 100x and never stopped in, but glad i did- awesome steak and service A+
The food was presented well, and tasted good. The aesthetic felt both upscale and casual, as the food was very presentable and of a higher quality.. but the decor was a little confusing, and the service we had was okay at best. Our waitress never checked in with us, avoided the table, and was rude at times. Overall, I would still recommend Harvest to anyone visiting Pheasant Run, despite the uncomfortable server situation. We may still be back next time we visit.
We just loved the service, the setting, the food--all of it! We were seated right away, our server was attentive but not hovering, the food was GREAT. Our only suggestion would be to UP the light a bit so the wonderful menu could be read easier. Really delicious food, presented in an attractive fashion. We also loved the comped dessert for a birthday--what a nice surprise!
Food service and atmosphere were excellent. Service staff all were polite and efficient and friendly. Great Experience
It was the 3rd time me & my husband have been to Harvest. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The hostess even acknowledged it, as did the waitress. Yet no one offered us a free dessert, Would have been a nice touch. We were there back in Oct 2017 celebrating my birthday & once again asking if we were celebrating anything special and still was not offered a dessert. Don't ask if it's just to make conversation. And it is a big deal.
The place was too dark. The food was fine but nothing that I can't wait to have again. Drinks were small and expensive. Especially for a place that was empty o. a Saturday night. I gave them some suggestions to make the experience better. But they fell on deaf ears. I probably won't be back
Chef Tiffany never disappoints with her wonderful fresh offerings.
Excellent service and food. This was our second time there and we will go back.
We really enjoyed ourselves. Our server was very friendly and helpful. All of our needs
were met very quickly. The food was outstanding. The rack of lamb and the beet salad
were especially good.
We were very happy with Harvest. The server was friendly and fast. Our food was delicious and priced well, not as expensive as we expected. The decor is great, very warm and fun. We loved our big, private booth. There is a lot of chatter noise from all the tables in one big room, but it really just made it feel like one, big happy dinner party. We will definitely go back.
It was our 42nd Wedding Anniverrsary-the service was excellent and the food was outstanding-I had the 8oz prime rib and my husband had the filet
Excellent farm to table food. Nice ambiance and good wine list.
Friends are still talking about how good the rack of Lamb was.
Give Harest a try. It has a nice setting. Service was good. I had the rack of lamb it was very good and the portion size was great. Loved the creamed spinach. We will be going back.
Harvest is a pleasant enough restaurant with nice ambiance; however, the night our family (party of 6) dined at Harvest, there were a couple opportunities for improvement. Although the staff tried their best it appeared it was understaffed so we waited a bit for prompt refills of cocktails and water, etc. Regarding the food, two in the party ordered shrimp and scallops, and were disappointed that there were only two shrimp and two scallops. The other four were more pleased with their selections. Overall, the value was only fair.
We were staying at the hotel and excited to eat here. The hostess was welcoming. We ordered a bottle of wine and then the dining experience went down hill. The food took forever. Our waitress dropped us flat as we ordered two 18.0 burgers and the pasta dish had only 2 shrimp and 2 scallops. We were asked to almost clean the table ourselves by handing all the dishes and silverware to the waitress who stated the manager OJ would get made if the table was not clean. We did not realize we would have to help clean the table. Definitely not a fine dining experience.
