Great service and good salads.
Love the food choices for brunch. Service was great! Food prices were good..drinks were a bit pricey. Love the vibe. I will return when in Chicago.
The hostess told me my table would be ready in just a few minutes. I stepped aside and watched her seat several parties that came well after me with no reservation. After waiting 15 minutes I went back to the hostess and she never even looked at my reservation. She brought me to a high top seating after I request led standard seating.
Once I finally got to my table, the waitress said hello but did not attend regularly. My order was made incorrectly and the waitress did not apologize or sympathize that my order was made wrong. My guest and I ordered bottomless mimosas and we had to flag her down every time we wanted a refill. The manager did come over and apologize for the incorrect order and took that off the bill.
I won’t let this ruin my experience however, I hope the waitress and hostess staff are better the next go around.
I ordered breakfast burger which was good. However French Toast came cold and then took too long to remake. Manager was great & apologetic & took French Toast off the bill. We would consider coming back but this experience was not good.
Great food; great service; great ambiance.
Music is loud and high energy. Great for a bar but not very desirable for dining.
Outstanding food in a fun atmosphere
Everything was good, service could have been more efficient.
The hostess were clearly overwhelmed, because they were totally unexperienced. The waiters and kitched were fine. But the place is kind of overrated.
Wonderful food an outstanding service on a very busy day (thanksgiving). Will gladly make this a tradition.
We ate Thanksgiving dinner at Hub 51 and it was by far the most delicious holiday meal we face y ever eaten! Everything was amazing- the service, the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Hub 51. It was a great buffet. They had roasted root vegetables, corn pudding, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole for sides. The meat on offer were salmon, short ribs and traditional turkey. Two types of gravy were available but not necessary for the moist turkey. There were three types of salad all lightly dressed (my favorite was the Brussel sprouts one). Finally there were mini desserts including pumpkin tarts and pecan tarts. All of which were better than many a home cooked meal.
While the line was placed a bit odd, it moved quickly and all the food was warm (contrary to many buffet expectations). Service was prompt without being intrusive. I would recommend this seasonal alternative to home cooking (and the subsequent dish cleaning).
Great way to spend Thanksgiving! Would highly recommend
Thanksgiving buffet. All of the food, except the desserts, was good but the wait in the food line was ridiculously long. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other.
2nd year there for thanksgiving. Great food Really nice people work there great crowd we will be back next year
Thanksgiving buffet is always a hit!!
The food was good, but that did not make up for the rudeness and lack of attentiveness by the staff.
Our waitress was nowhere to be found for most of the meal. She never refilled drinks. She also overcharged us and was incredibly slow to correct the bill.
I found the rest of the staff to be ok, but we definitely did not get a good server. And the manager was also rude. The price was too high for this type of service. Very disappointing overall. We will not be back.
Excellent! We loved our Thanksgiving meal at Hub 51. Closest thing to home-cooked. Desserts were incredible! Service impeccable.
Thanksgiving buffet is always fantastic. Great value.
Went to Thanksgiving at Hub 51. Loved the food & the ambiance.
We were at Hub 51 for Thanksgiving and they had a wonderful buffet. There was a selection of 3 salads, turkey, beef, and salmon as well as the traditional Thanksgiving side dishes and corn pudding that was fantastic. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a great meal and just focus on family and friends.
Definitely a great experience for thanksgiving. Every meal was so good ! And worth the price.
I was there for the Thanksgiving buffet. It was also my first time there. I came away having had an incredible meal, feeling grossly full (in a good way), and will definitely return throughout the year. The service was tremendous, as well. I can't wait to go back.
Great thanksgiving meal - great service - very relaxing!
Service was very slow Meat was raw. It took an hour to get our appetizer and then another 30-45 min to get our food and even then, some of the meat was undercooked. We had to send a plate back since they brought out a raw hamburger, which took another 15 min.
If was fun and tasty! I loved the atmosphere and the service was outstanding!
Made a reservation and went for my birthday dinner. They sat us in the bar area. I’ve had several birthdays at hub51 and was never seated in the bar area when I had a reservation. I wasn’t disappointed by that.
Once again, an excellent meal—one of my favorite places when I’m in Chicago.
Really great for casual but still more “upscale” dining that satisfies anyone!! My group went for a birthday celebration and it was fantastic, the portion sizes were quite large but everyone just got to take something home :) They even offered a slice of (any kind!!) cake on the house for my friend’s birthday, which was incredibly generous.
We had a very nice evening. Service was awesome with the drinks and food arriving in a very timely manner. I’d highly recommend the Crispy Cauliflower appetizer!
Good food, good service, great place all the time.
Just ok food and menu , went for brunch. Nothing bad but nothing to write home about
The food is so good. Total comfort food and great mix of favorite bar food favorites... Great drinks, cool space. Something for everyone. I highly recommend Hub51.
The Turkey Meatloaf is absolutely amazing. Has the perfect spice
Hub 51 is awesome. Been there a few times. Food is great and service is even better. Only reason I rated 4 stars is because this past weekend when I was there... something was wrong with the sound system and they had 3 songs on repeat. It was driving us insane. 2 hours of Dont Stop Believin and Runnin Down a Dream. Woof.
We had a high top table reservation that took too long for us to be seated so we chose a seat at the bar. it took very long for a bar tender to acknowledge us. The bartender then had a difficult time remember our orders. The food was very good so that saved the experience.
Our server was great. The happy hour special was really good! Dessert was the best!
Great server. Food great. Only one issue, requested a booth, arrived, only booth available was a high top booth. I have a REALLY bad back and could not sit up that high, so we had to have a table. The problem was; not less than a dozen times I was hit by the staff running into my chair. No apologies. Really takes away from the experience.
Great egg rolls and kale salad. Any vegetarian should be excited about the vegetarian burger, it is so yummy and the CORN BREAD is delicious!
The server was wonderful and so accommodating. The food was excellent, especially the carrot cake. It made my mom’s birthday great!
