Industrial Revolution Eatery & Grille
The food was excellent and the service was, also ---our server was thorough and competent.
She was very friendly and took care of us with a smile -- definitely will go there to eat again -
hoping we get the same waitress again or at least ask for her --
Very enjoyable themed eatery. Brought out of town guests for lunch and they loved the decor. Sandwiches were tasty and the flavored lemonade delicious.
Various family members met at Industrial Revolution as a sort of short family reunion. The location as a convenient meeting point, the service was good while not being hurried, and the food could be named "comfort food," with a few more gourmet/unusual menu items also available. The atmosphere was one of the highlights, with a vintage toy train running overhead and a general warehouse feel to the architecture. I would recommend this restaurant and would return the next time I'm in the area.
One-of-a-kind decor with an historical bent; expansive, creative menu and friendly staff. Recommended!
Reservation worked. Food selection, beer selection, food and service were excellent. Always an "energetic" ambience.
Staff is always pleasant and checking if anything is needed. Belong to their rewards program and always get at least 10% off the food bill. Manager is super nice and always greets us. Highly recommend eating here.
Always a great experience every time we stop in!!!
Hamburgers were prepared as ordered. Great taste, but a little pricey. Service was good.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever ate at!!!cant wait to go again
I was there when it just opened, the only difference is the smell of Brewskis is gone. Same lame food at Chicago prices and not a very good selection of traditional American beer, so it will appeal to a younger crowd that doesn't know any better (looking for what's hip or trending) but not good for an older crowd or a family.
Love the pot roast! Super friendly service! Wonderful decor!
We were in from out of town on New Years Eve and this was both well rated and close to our hotel. Really enjoyed the experience - theming was great (learned some things we didn’t know about arc welding and C. L. Coffin), service was solid and food was really good (meatloaf was excellent and my oldest son loved the stuffed bacon burger). Always a good sign to find a packed parking lot - definitely exceeded expectations and we would happily revisit
We've been here 3 times and the four and service are always fantastic.
Always enjoyed dinning there whether only with the hubby or with the grandkids. There industrial burger has never failed me and both the garlic fries and sweet potato fries are delicious. Our favorite appetizer, the fried green beans. If only it was a bottomless appetizer, delish delish delish!!!!
Very diverse menu! Lots of options! Good service and cute surroundings
The food was unremarkable. The service was very good
Jenn was an awesome server!! She remembered my fiance's birthday and made us feel welcomed! Thank You!!
Great place, love the industry theme, good menu.
The food was good, better than "bar food" but very heavy and impossible to finish.
Great food! Hard to make selection as everything is enticing. We settled on Chicken pot pie Beef stroganoff and salmon. All were delicious. We are not from Valpo area. Wish we had this dining option in our area.
We came here to celebrate my brother's 25th birthday with our family and had a great time! The food was delicious, atmosphere was nice, and our 2 year old loved the train!
Not happy with my food, probably, my fault. Known for their burgers and i ordered chicken. The rice was spicy, did not go at all with the Italian flavored chicken. They did bring me potato wedges to substitute.
The host, she was amazing. We had to push back.9ur reservation, but she made it work for us. The server was also great. I took my Grandparents there for the first time and they enjoyed it as well!
Drove an hour and a half, and will be back. Probably see you in September, and we'll bring another couple with us. Great dinning experience, for food, service, and surroundings. Thanks.
High energy and my server very helpful and very knowledgeable. Will definitely come back...
Food was decent (but not amazing), and the service was very good. It was just extremely loud thanks in part to a large party nearby and also the way the acoustics work in the room.
I had a burger & potatoe wedged with Parmesan cheese and it was great. We would definitely go back. It has a really interesting interior & statues. Well worth the drive.
Really appreciate the gluten free menu!!! Delicious choices to order from while the rest of group can order whatever they want! Thank you!
My parents and I had lunch here. It was my first time but they had dined there before and liked it. My dad loves the pulled pork sandwich. We were disappointed that the overhead train was not running as it still is out of order. A little noisy though the restaurant was not full, but overall it was a good place to eat. We love the décor and history behind the food selections, photos, and theme.
This place never disappoints. My friend and I met for dinner after work. We both ordered the Cobb Salad with chicken. It was delicious, as always. The service is always good here, even when they're extremely busy. Industrial Revolution is one of my favorite restaurants in Valparaiso, for its delicious food, good service and friendly atmosphere. It gets too noisy sometimes, but not enough to keep me away. Great restaurant for most occasions, for adults and families with children.
I have already recommended this restaurant to several people and look forward to returning soon!
Very cool place to visit and food was delicious will return for sure
Unique food offerings, pub atmosphere, lots of craft beers, great servers
Too loud! Couldn't hear our conversations! Will choose another restaurant next time when conversation is the purpose of get together.
Our 2 1/2 year old grandson always enjoys eating here. He loves the train that runs overhead. Unfortunately, the train was not running due to maintenance, but a server came by (not ours) and gave him a train whistle. I thought that was really thoughtful. Our server was excellent. He was attentive and engaging with our grandson, as well. We had a slight hiccup with our appetizer not coming out ahead of our meals, but we felt it was handled very well by the server. I had the Casesar salad, which was huge. The dressing was good and the lettuce crisp. We will definitely be back.
My wife and I ate at the Industrial Revolution last week week. The food was excellent. We had the pretzels as an appetizer. Great! I had the pot roast burger and it was delicious...moist, tender, and flavorful. The garlic fries were also very good. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and she loved it. The chicken was very moist, not over cooked as you sometimes get.
We both enjoyed the decor. The trusses and sculptures highlighted both the exterior and interior. The photos also showed our industrial history. They enhanced the theme of the restaurant.
IR had everything we wanted in a restaurant: great food, great service, and a very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy our meal.
This place is incredible! Staff, food, environmental and setting. Everything that makes a restaurant great!
The train was under maintenance. So the kids were disappointed.
