We had a great time here! The pizza with Taylor Ham was delicious. The service was excellent. Altogether a fun night out.
I hesitate to recommend Jersey Pizza, because I want to be able to get in there for dinner when I want pizza! The pizza is excellent, the chopped salad and the caesar salad are terrific. I've tried very few of the other things on the menu, so I can't really say much about them - but order the Pepperoni East Coast pizza, and you'll be very happy! The service is also excellent - you'll walk out of there full, pleased and you won't be broke!
Food is great, and our server was friendly and helpful! A perfect quick and delicious lunchtime meal.
Honestly I keep coming back and back. They keep making their menu better and better. It's one of the best spots for pizza and for wine. You literally can't go wrong. So happy I came in. I'm gonna book an event for my company for sure.
Thanks again for the service and the delicious food and drinks.
Meet up with some friends after work. Made reservations ahead of time because the last time I was here it was super busy and we ended up having to sit at the counter which is ok, but hard to have a conversation when there are more than 2 people. They also appreciate the reservation made. It was pretty busy at 6:00. We shared a salad, appetizer, and pizza. All of it was amazing and delicious. Definitely a go-to for me if I'm on that side of town.
I enjoyed the pizza, but most important, my guest who was celebrating his B/D, enjoyed it a lot.
Best pizza ever!!!
Thant's great to hear, Rita. Thank you for celebrating your friend's birthday with us and we're happy to know you both enjoyed our pizza so much. We hope to see you back soon!
Nice restaurant with pretty simple decor. My wife and I were there for dinner and started with a Caesar Salad which was very good. We split a pizza which had plenty of toppings but was lacking a bit in cheese for my taste. Overall, while not exactly “Jersey” Pizza, it was a good dining experience.
We're happy to hear you and your wife enjoyed your visit, Brian. Thank you for your compliments and feedback. We hope to see you again soon!
It was...pretty good. We got the caesar salad, burrata, New Yorker, and Bianca. There were two things we wanted to order that they were out of (at 11:45 AM). The burrata and caesar were very good. The New Yorker was good, but there is something in the sauce I didn't love, maybe like curry powder? The Bianca had lemon in it which I was excited to try but none of us really liked it in the end. They had the World Cup on which was nice for the during the work day. Nice atmosphere
Thank you for your visit, Regan. We're happy to hear you enjoyed so many items but please accept our apologies if we were out of something you wanted. We only serve the very freshest food using the finest ingredients and most likely something was unavailable that we didn't want to substitute with a different ingredient. Hopefully we'll see you back soon and we're sure we it will be a 100% perfect meal.
Good value and delicious pizza! Service was a little slow but a very cute, family friendly place.
We appreciate your kind words about our pizza, Cori. Thank you. Please accept our apologies if you felt the service wasn't as quick as you wanted. We're certain next time we see you everything will be perfect and please let us know.
Timmy our waiter was fantastic. Oh so personable and very attentive. Made our dinner so much more enjoyable. A keeper.
We are happy to hear that, Davidd. Thank you and we'll be sure to pass your compliments on to Timmy!
Great place for a casual lunch in the Financial District. Everything from starters to salad to pizza is really tasty. They also have an awesome happy hour which I can't wait to check out. It's beer and wine only, but what's not to love about beer and pizza...? :)
The service was the best I’ve seen in a long while. The host had a great attitude and made room for us when we had to bump our reservation up from 5 to 7. Could tell the server was crazy busy but he got to us quickly and took our full order right when we were ready. Our apps and then entrees came out in good time, and then our server personally boxed up our leftovers at the table. Oh, the food was fabulous too! Even the GF individuals looks very happy with their salads.
Overall a very good east coast (jersey style) pizza. Sauce on the cheese pizza was a bit spicy for some in the group.
The pizza and the arancini at Jersey are definitely among the very best in San Francisco. The Trenton Tomato Pie is everything!
This restaurant is great casual eats but the atmosphere is very loud.
We took out a co-worker traveling from Owens Mills. We ordered 4 two different types of pizzas on two pies and a chop salad. I have been to Jersey Restaurant four times already but my colleagues have not. They were all raving about how tasty and delicious the pizzas were as well as the chop salad. The waiter was friendly and provided recommendations. We enjoyed a long lunch hour after a busy week.
Jersey is close to my office so I go there often. Always good, love the pizza but this time I tried the burger which was very good also.
Good place for casual lunch in SOMA.
I love Jersey! The food is fresh and good and the service is always great! Love the pizzas. Been going to Jersey for a long time and I have NEVER been disappointed!
Food is great and fun atmosphere. However, the service could be more attentive. For example, I was there for 2 hours and they only offered to refill water once.
Jersey is always great - the pizza is delicious, hot, fresh. The service was on point. Will definitely go again!
One of our go-to local restaurants both for dine-in and take out. Love this place ... as do all my friends to whom we introduce to Jersey. Never disappoints.
That's great to hear, Nutrix. Thank you and we appreciate your turning on your friends to Jersey!
The Margharita pizza and steak salad were very good, but nothing like you would actually get in New Jersey. Turns out the restaurant is simply part of a big chain.
But, good stop.
Hi Nancy. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your pizza and steak salad, Nancy. Thank you. However, we are not part of a chain at all. Our ownership team has three other restaurants in San Francisco, none of them with a menu anything like ours. Hopefully you do get a chance to visit them as well: Town Hall (specializing in Southern comfort food), Anchor and Hope, a seafood and raw bar spot, and Salt House, serving seasonal American cuisine with international flair (and outstanding cocktails).
I think that pizza must really be the feature here, because I strayed into other areas of the menu, and the choices were limited and not very good. The service was excellent and the wine choices were great.
My wife and I come into SF once or twice a month and this is a must stop for us. The food is delicious and this place has a pretty cool atmosphere. Everyone that works there makes you feel welcome including the chef. If your looking for a good pie we suggest the Fungi Misto pizza.
Thank you for our visits and kind words, Rhonda. We're happy to know you are a fan of our Fungi Misto pizza and we look forward to serving you again next time you are in town!
Spaghetti was really overcooked. Not particularly kid friendly as the pizzas are far too spicy for young ones. Wish the waiter would have said something when we ordered.
Loved our pizza!! The sauce is amazing. Our server Will was helpful not only about the food but also for fun things to do in the area. I highly recommend it!!
Layout of dining room was a little tight with tables pretty close together. Server literally had to climb over the table next to us to reach our table.
Jersey needs to update its menu on opentable. This is really a restaurant for a cheap date of pizza and carbs. While the menu shows fish as on option. There is no fish. We should have left. Its ok for pizza, but I was looking for the fine foods part of the menu and there really isn't much if you don't eat carbs.
Food was great, very accommodating. Offered us a split pizza so that we were only getting one. Focaccia was great! Tomato sauce is heavenly!
Tables Are ridiculously close together. The food is certainly decent though my idea of a thin crust pizza involves and even thinner crust.
Jersey is a great place for a casual lunch - SOMA. It's close to our office and so it's convenient; but mostly, they just make GREAT pizza and salads! Even though they have both California and East Coast pizza options, I suggest just going all out and getting the New Yorker! So perfectly traditional and delicious.
Jersey is a great, casual primarily pizza restaurant but with good salads and sides, too. I work close to Jersey and it is one of my regular "go to" spots for lunch. Definitely try it!
I grew up in New Jersey and on real Jersey pizza. This place does an extremely credible job. It transported me back there gustatorily, which is arguably the best way to go back. Great job, youse guys.
Great Italian style pizzas and sides. Very accommodating of dietary requirements. Great service overall!
Fast and quality.
It's a great place for good pizza! The service is helpful and we come periodically.
No one raised west of Chicago has any business judging pizza. I grew up in New Jersey and these guys really get it. My husband and I look forward to celebrating there with friends in November after the blue tsunami. We love that the owners are good with staff wearing this t shirt. Photo taken with permission.
Truly the best Pizza this side of the Mississippi! Great salads too.
Scaling the food price/flavor/setting to determine an overall value against its competitive set other pizza locales the value is low - 2 adults for dinner - one pizza & one chicken parm with a salad and one drink each $100 plus w/ tip. Can do far better in other locales within SF.
Great salads and appetizers but their Pizza is outstanding! The service was very warm and friendly without being overbearing. Just the right combination of delicious food & perfect service for an enjoyable evening!
