Joe’s is always a treat. The food is reliably good and the service is outstanding. The wait staff is extremely professional and attentive. It is a favorite whenever in Chicago.

Amazing food, service and experience! Spent the morning with my husband and toddler and came to Joe’s for lunch. Their kid’s menu is amazing, and of course the food for adults is just the best. Angelica was our server and she is so warm, professional and fantastic. Cannot wait to go back!

My daughter had a birthday dinner and I secretly asked our waitress if we could get a candle with our dessert. After dinner the waitress came by and had seven desserts on her tray all with candles so we were thinking that one of those was coming our way however they all got delivered to the same table. Additionally my daughter had a dessert included with her meal and we never received that as well. Overall was a great dinner but a sad disappointed.

The food is fresh and the taste is excellent. The servers are awesome. This was my second visit and I will continue to come as long as everything stays at the quality level that I have come use to experiencing. My only complaint is the front waiting / bar area is always overcrowded.

Love your food - even though table wasn't in the best spot (very close to other tables and next to restroom) our waiter made it extremely pleasant.

I'm NEVER disappointed.

We eat lunch at Joe's whenever we visit Chicago and we have never been disappointed. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. I had the scallops and they were very well prepared. My husband enjoyed the seafood platter. We also enjoyed the crab bisque and key lime pie. If you plan to eat lunch I recommend you make a reservation as it gets busy on Saturdays.

We've been going to Joe's as part of our "after Thanksgiving" trip to Chicago for several years now. We find the ambiance and service to be superb. The waitstaff is always courteous and prompt. Likewise the food is consistently excellent. My all time favorite are the scallops but here's a little secret. Ask the waiter if the chef will prepare them in the original Joe's fashion. They are very lightly floured and then sautéed. They are without peer and most definitely worth the 150 mile journey.

We try to go to Joe’s every year when in Chicago for a business meeting. Steaks, crab, seared ahi, ALL amazing! The cheese mashed potatoes were ok, not what we had expected. Should’ve ordered baked potatoes. Gluten free brownie with peppermint ice cream was a hit with all 4 of us! We will go back! Our service was great!

Vacation get-away.

Holiday lunch with good friend. I called in advance and Joe's special ordered our favorite champagne. Dan, our waiter, was fabulous as usual. He was very attentive. We were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch and never had an empty glass, despite the restaurant being very busy. Great stone crab, wedge salad, and crab legs. The ahi tuna tartare was delish.

Great as usual. Place was packed so you know they’re doing it right.
