We visited K Rico on the recommendation of a family friend and we weren't disappointed
We managed to get a booking on the day for an evening meal
The place was buzzing, with no empty tables in sight
We met John one of the brothers who owns the restaurant who made us feel really welcome
He introduced us to some of his family who had come to visit and dine there
They gave us a few tips on what to order and I must say they were spoon
The steaks were unbelievable and the sides were all very tasty. It was my daughter's 16th birthday and John and his staff could not do enough to make it a special evening for us all
They presented her with a beautiful cake and brought us over a platter with various deserts to try, at no charge.
We cannot recommend John and his team highly enough
Super friendly and so passionate about their food, especially the beautiful Steaks.
All in all the food was excellent and the bill when it came very reasonable
Thank you John, we will be back next time we visit NYC

We were in NYC, from Boston , for a getaway weekend.
I was looking for a different kind of steakhouse , saw K Rico's on line, and made a reservation .
We both were very pleasantly surprised , right from the minute we entered , until long after we left .
We were met by Lee, a lovely lady at the front door , escorted directly to our table , where we were
greeted by our waiter Harvaire , as well as full supportive staff . The menu was amazing , the cuts of meat ranged from a 28oz, aged sirloin , to a 72oz, tomahawk steak . multiple specials , and sides . desserts , as well as an extensive wine list , and bar . One additional treat was meeting one of the owners Tommy Greco , he was very visible in the dining room , and still had time to visit every table . Can't thank K Rico's Steakhouse for making it a special night . We will be back for sure .

It was my daughter’s 12th birthday and multiple staff members wished her happy birthday as we walked in. Very cozy ambiance with positive vibe. Our server, Fernando, took great care of us. We split the K Rico special steak and it was prepared perfectly. We also received complementary birthday dessert complete with fireworks! Great experience. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been to many Steak restaurants over the globe and I wasn’t expecting the experience that we received at K Rico. It’s a bold statement but it was the best steak I’ve ever had! Friendly and attentive service that was faultless. I can not recommend highly enough. Thank you for an outstanding evening.

My partner and I visited this restaurant the food was amazing lovely piece of steak was one of the nicest I’ve had. Fernando the waiter was exceptional couldn’t of done anything more he is a credit to the restaurant. However we felt very uncomfortable whilst dining here due to the door staff as I would say there were as they didn’t do anything else part from see to the door they were not the most welcoming of people they looked down on us as if we did not belong in this establishment it did not make our visit the best but we did enjoy our meal.

Best filet mignon we'd had in the city! My husband and I had a wonderful experience from the moment we were greeted and the service was wonderful and friendly throughout the evening. We were definitely made to feel welcome. The food was beyond our expectations and the ambiance despite close quarters was more quiet than most NYC restaurants. I had a great grilled octopus with beet-cilantro sauce flash fried arugula - stellar! My husband had a very good ceviche to start. However, the 140z. filets were cooked to perfection and extremely tender.
We have already recommended K Rico to our friends and will return ourselves.

Had the octopus which was great. The ribeye lacked any kind of seasoning and I had to ask the waiter for steak sauce. The waiter was nice but we could barely understand a word he said. Overall not very impressive.

Absolutely the BEST steakhouse in New York. Cooked perfectly. I also asked for a NorCal cab and the waiter suggested an even better NorCal Pinot and offered a sample. It WAS better. Smooth as silk. This was a business dinner with people I had just met for the first time. The evening couldn't have gone better. Thanks to the owners, John and Tommy.

One of the best steak deals around. Tuesdays Giant Tomahawk steak grilled to perfection and Chef John's sides are great compliments. Dessert included. Can't beat their price for two.

We were greeted at the door by Mikayla who wished us Happy Anniversary, lead us to the perfect table and gave us a glass of champagne. Our waiter, Benjamin was outstanding in every way. His recommendations were spot on plus his personality made us feel like special guests. The octopus was the best I have ever had. Highly recommended! Our steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Chris, the manager came by and also made us feel like special guests. What a great experience in New York City. A wonderful restaurant experience. This will be at the top of our list the next time we visit New York City.

The salmon I had was overcooked and fishy tasting...it had a sauce on it that included oysters that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. My husband had the special offered a few evenings that was 3 courses that he enjoyed. Tables close to each other, nice atmosphere and good wine. Good service.

Everything is great! Leave room for dessert, especially the flan. Not your typical dessert. Bone-in steaks are fabulous.

We get to NYC once a year and stumbled on K Rico last time we were here. We couldn't wait to get back and have outstanding steaks, wonderful service and the best cake ever, the Tres Leches. We talked about that cake all year. Last year we shared a piece and this year we each had one. The steaks were cooked to perfection and so tender and flavorful. We were thanked for coming and made to feel so welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a nice and good dinner here. Waiters were very nice and obliging. But the price was the higher class

This was a great Hell's Kitchen find! We made reservations, which I would recommend because the restaurant is small. You can reserve a spot at the bar or a standard table. The hostess who greeted us pleasantly took us to our table. Our server was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was energetic (not loud), bringing out the Latin flare. Even when the restaurant was full, it didn't seem crowded.
We ordered a nice bottle of Oberon cabernet and had two appetizers: the Fufu de chorizo and the Arepas. The chorizo had good flavor and came with a few plantain chips and mashed plantains. The arepas were both sweet and savory due to the chimichurri and pickled onions that came with it - delicious!! For the main course we both did skirt steak. I had mine medium rare and my boyfriend has his medium. Both cooked to perfect temperature. I wish the steak had a little more flavor but the chimichurri and onions helped. Plus someone comes around to grate some fresh horseradish for you steak - a nice touch and it was so tasty! We had a side of mushrooms with the steaks - perfect addition, plus we ordered a side of Maduros. I love fried plantains and these did not disappoint!! The sides are plenty for two.
This was enough food to make the two of us pop... because it was all so good that we ate it all. Next time we go - because there will be a next time - we may do the two appetizers and split a steak or get out own steak and cut back to one app. Definitely check it out! I hope this restaurant is here to stay!

We came all the way from Israel - Tel Aviv , because we saw the good recommendations in trip advisor, in one word perfect !!

Another amazing meal!!! This has been my go to nyc steakhouse for awhile now. The food is spectacular, the service is perfect, and the price is amazing. This time we shared the mix-grill and the sautéed yuca! So good!

Very good food! Nice Vibe overall in the restaurant, but a bit clumsy service at som times. The Tomahawk steak is some of the Best Meat I have ever had!

I love it there, everyone were so nice and friendly.

After reading reviews, we thought it would be reasonably priced, we didn’t agree with this. With being gluten free I didn’t think I needed to mention it as I was ordering something normally gluten free, but my sweet potato mash come with fried onions on, which wasn’t gluten free
