Our party of 4 made a reservation for the Prime Rib special that ended March 31. When we booked only a high top was available, but we were seated at a table in a corner with beautiful views. The waiter was very attentive, the food was amazing and we will definitely be back.
Definitely more people now that things have opened up to 50% occupancy. Social distancing was observed. Food and service was excellent as usual
Still the place to go for a nice quiet dinner. The food was excellent. The cocktails were happy hour strong. The wine selection was great. The staff were very professional, quick and attentive. They followed all the COVID-19 protocols and I felt safe eating dinner.
Food was delicious
Now that restaurants can have 50% occupancy there were more people in the restaurant but nowhere 50% patrons. Felt very safe because the social distancing was clearly marked.
The food was great. Our sever was not only on top of things but also she was very cheerful.
Well, we went because of the view of the airport. We were with a young man who’s infatuated with airplanes. I just didn’t expect the food to be like I was at SFO airport too. Absolutely substandard airport food. Sorry. I’d rather fly somewhere else!

If it had not been for the always fabulous crab and artichoke dip, the entire meal/time spent at what used to be our go-to “special occasion” place would have been a compete disaster.
The server was friendly and professional but covering way to many duties and areas within the restaurant. We sat and enjoyed out appetizer while waiting on drinks and water for nearly 40 minutes even after asking and another server looking to assist as couples and groups, came in, were seated, served drinks, dinner, 2nd rounds, etc. As our drinks finally arrived and the waiter thanked me for my patience (I was already on my feet and replied that I have lost my patience and was now searching for the manager on duty).
To their credit, the manager did comp the drinks and my partners meal (the steak came out many levels under done and the Brussels sprouts were hardly cooked and she did have another steak prepared which was also undercooked but we simply took it to-go). My prime rib was sub par; it tasted like it had been cooked the day before and was slightly heated to put on a plate. Our server did over hear that we were celebrating and did bring a shareable dessert which was a nice touch and at least the evening ended fair.
Great menu and location. Can’t wait for Happy Hour and the complete staff to return.

The slices of corned beef looked like they had been sitting out
They were dried out looking on top and at the end
And very salty
Steak was a bit tough and difficult to cut. Not their usual best.

They’ve reduced their menu but it is everyone’s favorites. The bartender is excellent as well.
Menu is very limited, but the food was excellent as always. Sat in the lounge and the Bar tender that waited on us was excellent. Drinks from the bar were amazing!

The food was extremely sub par for the price. Went out for a business dinner and the food was extremely poor grade. The 40 day aged waygu was as tender as a piece of shoe leather or the quality of an Applebee's choice steak. The crab dip was best described as awful hot tuna spread with mayo. We honestly were waiting for Gordon Ramsey to come out from somewhere to tell us we were on Kitchen Nightmare...that's how poor the food was. The only saving grace was the service and the view. Would I recommend this restaurant to clients or employees going forward? Probably not, but I say try at your own risk.
We ate outside in the patio area. It was perfect weather. Not windy or cold. Service was great! Meal was pretty good, except half of my prime rib was tough. Over all it was good. Great value. Yes we will return.
We remember it being much better before Covid-19, maybe it was just an off day. The salmon was very over cooked / dry, the fish and chips were soggy rather than crunchy as well as if it had been sitting there for some time, the fettuccine Alfredo was delicious though — enjoyed the hot crab & artichoke appetizer too. We expected service to decline / be slower due to Covid limitations but our waiter forgot to bring the drinks for quite awhile and just seemed a lot slower than we’d expect it to be.
Overall if this was the only experience we’d have had, we wouldn’t go back for sure. We may try them again around the summer or so to see if they’ve improved.
It was so nice to actually eat inside a restaurant again. While the menu was pared down, it still contained the best of the old menu.
Very good higher end restaurant. The Prime Rib was Delicious, as were the Ribs. The kids really enjoyed their cheeseburgers as well.
Feels good to be able to eat out again but make sure and check the weather before you go. The food and service is great but the day we went was cold and a little windy so the food did get colder faster than normal. They do have some heaters but it was still chilly for me. Other than that we had a good time.
It’s started out great, and then came a huge rat (by the outdoor dining storage unit where they store the propane tanks). Needless to say, our dinner was over. We finished as quickly as we could and left. Service was decent, but nothing close to what we experienced in the past.
During this difficult time, meals are served only on the street. We booked a table 15 minutes before the booking time and to our surprise there was an overbooking. Nevertheless, we were given an extra table in the corner of the terrace. The other guests were far enough away from us. While we were driving to the restaurant, we tried to call, but no one picked up the phone. There was no one at the entrance, so it was clear why no one was answering the phone, but nevertheless, after a few minutes of waiting, we were met and seated at a table. The Brussels sprouts were cooked in the best possible way. The steak and grilled fish were also delicious, the chefs here are excellent. The waiters were very open, friendly and we liked them very much. The only thing we didn't like was the fat rat that periodically walked between our tables. Perhaps this pet is their attraction, but we are not sure. The restaurant itself makes a neutral impression, but in any case, the staff will cheer you up and try to make your evening pleasant. I think we will try to come here again, but only when the quarantine measures are lifted. By the way, hot bread is soaked in garlic only. outside, if the bread was soaked and inside it would be perfect. I think this restaurant is exactly right for you to spend a good evening with your family or friends. I gave it 5 stars with the hope of improving the interior and cleanliness in the future. Thanks
It was a dinner for Valentine's day, the menu was good service and food was good. With the restrictions that we arenin we were in patio dining. The wind was not friendly to any of us. But the staff tried to do their best to make it a good time.
my sister and I actually came to commemorate her son, my beloved nephew, who would have been 32 years old that day. I wanted someplace near the water, low-key, and where we could walk together first and then quietly talk, or just watch the ocean. I've never been to Kinkaid's, but it was a great choice. places with views I always go to expecting nothing, since there is a built-in attraction, which usually means the food is not the main draw. to put it kindly, my past experiences haven't been very memorable. also, as an ex-chef, I'm incredibly picky, so I only hoped we'd have a nice place to be together on a hard day for both of us.
the service, however, was very attentive, and the chicken cobb, which we split because it was so generous, was also excellent. the kitchen even split it for us, which was above and beyond, and very appreciated. the chicken was moist and cooked especially for the salad, the avocado perfectly ripe, and the proportions of the other vegetables were appropriate as well as attractively presented. I was, needless to say, pleasantly surprised. I loved sitting outside, as well, as the day was beautiful, and we were seated in a table with an excellent view.
we went away feeling as though my nephew had been properly remembered. it was a sad day, but we honored him and I can't think of a better place to have done it. consequently, my husband and I will definitely be back. I'll also recommend your place to friends. many thanks to the staff of Kinkaid's--both the wait as well as the kitchen staff. I'm only sorry it's taken me so long to visit your restaurant.

Dinner was good but the prime rib had a little more fat to it than I'm normally used to being served by them. The fat content was consistent with all three orders of prime rib.
Service was excellent. Overall meal was very good. We had drinks, appetizers (carb and artichoke dip is and always has been a favorite) and the main course.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions we had to sit outside, but it wasn't took bad. A little wind chill, but the restaurant did provide heat lamps. I have to compliment them on being resourceful, maintaining a great attitude and providing a good dinning experience.
On Thanksgiving, both of us selected the Thanksgiving dinner special, which was very well prepared and balanced with a sample of all the traditional items. We had tjhe blue cheese salad which was also good, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream and ice cream which topped off the meal. The server was efficient and responsive.
Excellent food and service in an inviting atmosphere on San Francisco Bay. Well worth a visit.
First time at Kincaid’s and it was perfect. The occasion was a birthday dinner date, and our server, Alex did a great job helping us with everything. The appetizer was the artichoke and crab dip was delicious and super fresh. I will definitely need to be back for those scallops! Overall we had quite the experience.
Overall, due to COVID, they are doing the best they can with what they are allowed to do. I was disappointed that many of my favorite menu items were not available. I always eat at Kincaid's the night before I am on my way out of SFO, and my last experience was far different from the time before COVID. I hope things change in the future and the restaurant comes back to life in full force. It was sad to see.
