Delicious and entertaining. Counter means at the grill and they were right on time for our reservation ! Loved it!
Good food at a very popular restaurant! Reservations highly recommended on weekend nights. This place is busy for a reason!
Asked for a booth. Got table and chairs. Window area was very drafty and cold. Waitress was great.
My family loves to get together and come to Koto’s. It’s entertaining, food is delicious, it is relaxing and a great drink menu !
The food was pretty solid hibachi and pretty generous portion sizes. The service was good, but the hibachi chef was uninspired. I’ve never seen one completely fail on the onion volcano! He seemed more focused in cooking quickly than entertaining, which should be part of the hibachi experience, no?
Poor service almost every time. Due to under staffed wait service and Hibachi service.

Despite having a reservation days in advance, we were put in the back room that is claustrophobic and has very little ventilation. Our clothes now need to be cleaned because they smell like burned oil.
Do not eat here. Burlington has much better options.

Absolutely the worst service. We’ve brought guests many times over the years and it’s been okay—but a terrible night. Server in a bad mood and honestly did nothing except throw our food at us all at once. Won’t return unt assured of changes!

Koto's is one of those nice hidden gems in Burlington. It's on the more expensive side, but you get a good portion and the food has always been a hit. The drinks are great too. Lovely ambience and friendly staff.
The service was very attentive, but a table of drunks came in at the next table. Fortunately we were near the end of our meal. A fun place to eat but you take your chances w/ the dining companions. Also a poorly ventilated room for the time of year. Our server said as much.
Great food, we went for a work dinner which was great but we felt very rushed to get out. Chef was great, food was perfect!
Food was just okay. Lots of zucchini, very little other vegetables. Fried rice was rice and egg - as in 1 egg. That's it - nothing else in fried rice - just rice and 1 egg. Price was ridiculously high - not worth it for skimpy vegetables and lame fried rice. Server was great - that's the only good thing. I would definitely not recommend this place. So disappointed.
An average place, Hibachi chicken had a weird texture. We’ve had better hibachi before.
We were puzzled when we made our original reservation (8 weeks in advance) for 1:00PM, and then we’re told we had to change it to Noon or 3PM (3) weeks prior to our special occasion celebration. Everything in the end worked out,however, we wish that our original confirmed reservation had been able to be kept. The food and service here is consistently outstanding.
Sadly, there isn't anything outstading, taste wise.

I talk my grandson & his friend every year for a special time together. We love everything about Koto & always look forward to a fabulous meal. I’m from Colorado & it’s a real treat for me!
They were very accommodating at Koto, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
We celebrated college graduation at Koto with two families of multiple generations, and it ended up being the perfect place to do so. The menu is large and includes something for everyone. The space was comfortable, and we were able to visit with each other and enjoy a meal together.
What a fun and exciting experience!!! It was our first time and my kids and I LOVED it!! Can't wait to go back!
We had made a reservation for 10 people at 3 after my daughter’s graduation. During her graduation we were contacted to say we couldn’t be accommodated unless we came at 2. However we stayed until 345 and there were two huge hibachi tables still open in the back and unsure of out front. We had to rush thru graduation and pictures to get there an hour away. So that was frustrating to find out we could have been accommodated. Not sure why that happened.
Food was not as good as usual. Almost no flakes in my sushi roll. Spicy tuna was TOO spicy. Hibachi noodles were too soft and bland. Hibachi chicken a little overcooked.
I'm giving 4 start because never received a call that the hibachi table was unavailable and that was the one thing everyone was wanting. So we get there and they explain they tried calling to advice us of this and I had my phone all day and never got the call and had to find out when we got to the restaurant and had driven all that way and could have saved ourselves the trip and scheduled for a different timeframe.
Food was great! Service was great as well. It wasn’t very busy when we went there yet underneath our table was a whole bunch of food and a straw and a fork. They should really ensure the space is clean before they seat customers.
We had a great time! It was a first experience for a couple people in our group. We all enjoyed the show, the food and the experience. Thank you to all involved.

What a fun time our family had over the weekend at Koto! The hibachi chef was very entertaining, we laughed a lot! The atmosphere is relaxing and the fish are fun for the kids to look at. It's definitely a great experience for the entire family!

Habatchinchef flat personality. Didn’t season or cook food. Veggies were not cut up or cooked very much.

Hibachi was awesome! And the indoor pound was so neat! Wish we were from the area so we could go here again!
Hostess was super rude and ignored guests and was snappy with them.
The food was so-so. Edemame were just steamed no seasoning. No sauce with the hibachi diner. Tempura were extremely heavy and oily and tasted like oil only. Not what we are use to. Soup was just beef broth with a couple of mushroom. No impressed. Service was ok.
