I ordered the seared scallops small plate and it was exquisite. The scallops were perfectly seared and the puréed butternut squash and the sauce were so smooth and light. Wish I’d had a spoon to get every last bit. My husband ordered the seafood paella which was delightful. Clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari were all tender and beautiful. For us, the paella was enough to share. Service was friendly and professional and we ate comfortably outdoors.
Sat outside in the blocked off parking lot so ambience is nonexistent. Seems to me they could do a few things with plants and screens but...
Server was great (new but really fast learner). Food as always very good. I preferred the Cuban sandwich and while good had nothing to do with a real Cuban sandwich. I suggest a trip to Miaminor Tampa FL for a quick learning experience for the chef.
I was with my lady and 2 friends and we ordered small plates and pizzas, etc.. wine btg and brought a bottle. The food was awesome across the board. Our server, Jason? ... super cool dude and was pretty on top of things. Excellent experience!! Keep it up!
We found the noise level very uncomfortable. Strange that there was not a bread option, no cream for coffee and the food was a bit bland. I would try this again on a not so busy Saturday night and ask for salt from the get go. Then menu had some great options and we chose the steak at $39. The 10 oz steak was cooked well, but lacked seasoning and was a bit tough. The roasted veggies were good, but again needed seasoning. They could certainly provide more than three small bites of roasted potatoes, especially at this price point. We also had the grilled shrimp appetizer that was prepared well, but again needed seasoning.
Terrific food and drinks. Friendly staff. One of the best in town!
Knowledgeable bartender, excellent food
I picked this restaurant because it was rated as the best in Paso. It was good, but I thought it was over-priced.
Actually this place was perfect, it had something for everyone!!
Service was crazy, I thought I was being Punked. I couldn't even begin to explain
Excellent service. Food was very good. Pizzas were excellent.
Delicious salmon and veal shank. Great wait staff.
Great food. Server was very attentive. Do delay in seating us at our reservation time.
Always a wonderful experience!
Very good: Service and cocktails were really good. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable*.
Good/Fair: Food was good but not impressive in any way. *The server didn't know anything about wine which was surprising in wine country.
Bad: There were two of us (with reservations) and they sat us at a six-top. When our dessert came (roughly 90 minutes into our meal), another server came over and asked us if we could hurry up because there was a party waiting for our table. Also the said party kept standing by the table and staring at us. Kind of wrecked the experience. We won't come back.
Delicious food! Our waitress, Kim did a wonderful job.
This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Paso Robles area. All dishes are consistently delicious, service is cordial and timely, ambience is lively but not chaotic. The beet salad is excellent and we always split one of the paellas. Portions are just enough to share between 2 but if you have 4, even better so you can try more dishes! Definitely my "go-to" when we're in the area.
We went for lunch. Really liked the vibe. The empanadas and chilaquiles were excellent. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Amazing as always!!!
Nice evening on the outside patio with nice dogs around. A few flies, but they did not affect the overall dinner. Food and cocktails were excellent. Service attentive and cordial.
We went here to celebrate our anniversary dinner and they sat us at the table directly underneath the TV, which was playing football. The only other table was directly next to us and they were watching/enjoying the game. So the ambiance for a romantic dinner for 2 wasn't what we had hoped, HOWEVER, the food and our server Jason completely made up for it. The albondigas appetizer was amazing and the Seafood Paella was delicious with just the right amount of spice. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for top notch food and appetizers.
Food was great. Service was great. Specialty cocktails were great. Atmosphere was great. Nothing bad to say about this place!
It was an amazing meal and the seafood paella is BOMB’. Pizza is exactly the way I like it….Yummy😋
Our server kept apologizing for the wait, but that still didn’t make up for the fact of how long we waited for everything. Two hours is way too long for lunch, since most of the time was spent waiting!
First time to try this restaurant and definitely won't be the last. The Paella is sure a winner. Very flavorful
La Cosecha is an outstanding restaurant. The menu featUres Central and South American food and wine. My wife and I very much enjoyed dining there. We will be back.
We waited for over an hour to get our entrees. Thankfully we ordered an appetizer. But it was only one empanada each so we were definitely still hungry.
We had to hunt down someone for a refill on ice tea.
When I asked to speak to the manager the waitress/"one of the managers" said some tickets got messed up in the kitchen. No one came to us to explain the wait. She didn't say anything until we asked. She eventually offered an apology. I asked was there any compensation considering we had seen other people come and go. She asked me what I wanted her to do about it. She later came out to offer me a free drink. I declined. Our food finally arrived and we didn't have silverware. We asked her for silverware. She went inside for a bit and apparently forgot us again because I watched her come out empty handed, looked at our table and turned around to go back inside and came out with silverware. By that time my food was cold and I didn't have more than a bite. My two friends ate because they were so hungry.
The empanadas were delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. The crab cakes would have been tasty had they been warmer.
The attitude of the waitress/"one of the managers" is why I'll probably never go back.
I don't think her poor attitude is indicative of the whole restaurant but why take a chance when there are so many more options in Paso?
Went here specifically to try the calamari and paella. Both were amazing. The espresso crepe brûlée and beet salad were also delicious!!
My husband and I made reservations for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner. Everything was great, until we were asked to move to the bar because according to the Manager the next group/ reservation for our particular table was there. Now, we had reservations made about a month prior and totally understand that when there’s demand for a location and people are waiting they are going to have to do their best to try to accommodate as many as possible… but to what extent?! And, not to mention the fact that we were almost done with dinner anyway. It was very disappointing how such a beautiful evening, just ended on the worst note! The owner REALLY needs to consider training the manager to improve in customer service. Unfortunate. Never going back again!!
The tapas are fantastic, delicious and beautifully plated, with good service. My only"nit" is that it can be really noisy sometimes but I am a repeat customer and will keep coming back.
The menu was interesting. Grateful they had outdoor seating. Cody was a great server but the restaurant was short handed so it was slower service. We were understanding though. I would highly recommend it
This is our all time favorite place to go and eat and have some amazing drinks.
This was an excellent dining experience in every way, but the dish I ordered was an absolute abomination...meat based paella. I like meat and I like paella, but this seemed like an ill-thought out assemblage of tough leftovers. Not a good nor well-balanced dish. It should never be served again. That being said, my three dining companions all had the Brazilian seafood stew and raved about it! So not saying it's a bad restaurant, I'm giving it a great review. Just no meat paella, please!
Food was beyond expectations, only surpassed by our Nicky tandem: Nicky our thoughtful, knowledgeable server, whose recommendations were perfectly spot on, and who anticipated our wants… supported by Nicky the seasoned bartender who crafted the most excellent cocktails and wine pairings to perfect our evening. We will be back.
Food and service were great. Little noisy inside but bearable.
The scallops were outstanding.
The croquettes were ok. Not bad but it was denser than I expected, compared to other places.
Great Apps as always-love the seared Octopus. Service was top!
After a week of traveling the california west coast and feeding on fatty and bland food, a positive refreshing surprise. Fresh, tasty food , great friendly service.
Server Cody was great and the food outstanding
Super innovative craft cocktails, and a very good wine list, including European and South American wines. Killer seafood paella!
