Service was slow to start, but very friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary, so the staff had a very nice greeting card on the table for us, which was a nice touch. We had the salmon rillettes for appetizer, and it was delicious. I ordered the scallops for my main and my husband had the beef bourguignon. The scallops were overcooked and rubbery, and the dish was overall underwhelming, especially for $42. I had a taste of my husband’s dish and it was tender and very tasty. We had the blood orange sorbet for dessert, which was amazing. All in all, we spent about $170, including tip, and that also includes a cocktail and two glasses of wine. While I was disappointed in my meal, I would happily give this place another try. I am glad to have this type of dining experience in Wenatchee.

My husband and I got to enjoy the opening months menu at Velveteen. When you step behind the curtain in to the restaurant the decor is beautiful. The plush velvet banquette was very comfortable, the tables were perfectly set, the lighting was perfect for date night, and our server was friendly but not intrusive. We started out with superb cocktails and the food was delicious with fantastic wine pairings. I love when I get to find a new wine I enjoy and managed to do just that with the Tavel that they had paired with the cauliflower bisque. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough and hope to return later this year!

The outdoor garden dining is beautiful. Staff was was delightful.
