The food was very good - a bit expensive. But worth it for a special occasiion.

The food and service are not comparable to any other place in all of New Jersey. All the staff is extremely nice and helpful and make you feel very comfortable and you can taste the love that the chefs put into there food. The menu is constantly changing so every time you come back you can try something different and be wowed everytime. I try things here I would never eat anywhere else and I love them all!!! Our waitress was absolutely fantastic! She was very educational and provided a memorable experience. The ambiance was wonderful, as was the food! Portions are small, but it allows you to enjoy an appetizer and dessert!

The ambience was very nice, we were seated in a quiet dining room accompanied by some nice background music. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good, we ordered home made pasta and scallops, both were fresh and perfectly prepared. We will be back!

We had a lovely dinner the day after Christmas. It was our first night eating in a restaurant in a long time .
The food was fabulous as was the service, and we felt very safe . The tables were well spaced out and everyone wore masks except while eating at our table.
All in all. 10/10!

Consistently excellent food, service and atmosphere! The Agnolotti pasta and Pork shank entries were amazing and don't pass up the beignets for dessert!

A birthday special nite for a dear friend....Larimar is exceptional in their preparation
of very select menu items. I am sure that why the limited menu. My salmon dish was
sublime....however, it was an appetizer sized portion. My husband would have had
to order 2 entrees and an appetizer to satisfy his appetite.
The pumpkin raviolis were too die for but again a rather meager size portion for
hearty healthy appetites. I believe this does play into making choiceds for special
events if you have big eaters.
I will go back with my girlfriends (ladies nite out)

Last night we dined at Larimar for a first date. I was thrilled at the ambiance and even more thrilled that my date and I could get to know each other in such a quiet setting. The service was excellent and the food was superb! We both had the Salmon and I would definitely recommend it!

Where do I begin?
Larimar is a special place for my wife and me. Service is always impeccable, from the minute you walk in the door and John greets you to the warm wave goodbye from the door to your car. The food is always prepared wonderfully, portion sizes are perfect, flavors are spot on and presentation is that of a Michelin star establishment. In addition to all of those great things mentioned above, you simply feel at home and treated like kings and queens in this establishment. If I could give it 10 stars I would. John, keep doing what you do! I would recommend this experience to everyone, you won't find better in NJ.

Even in this time of COVID it’s nice to find a restaurant that has such high quality service food and atmosphere. Larimar is a lovely jewel in Spring Lake. Wonderful meal, I had the flat iron steak cooked to perfection. The beignets were out of this world. Lovely restaurant lovely food terrific service.
