Everything was fantastic EXCEPT the Kombujima 16 oz Kombu Dry Aged Bone in NY. It was dry and tough as leather.
We were celebrating husband’s milestone birthday. The foods were so delicious. The service was excellent!
The ambience was perfect. Overall, we had a pleasant dinner. I would recommend LB Steak for special occasions.
The steaks are ok, but the place is very stylish

Food quality was very disappointing. Have been to many very nice steak restaurants. This wasn’t even mediocre. Meat was dry. Service was so so. Bad combination. We won’t go back.

This restaurant is perfect for special occasions, whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary or date. The service is excellent, as their staff truly want to enhance your dining experience. I actually came here on New Year's Eve and just recently for my birthday - both times were great. I got the Filet Mignon and my boyfriend got the Rib Eye, while we shared a side of mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The portions are plentiful and we both left with to-go boxes. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, quality of service and selection. Cocktail list was nice, as was wine list, including decent by the glass selection. Sides were as good as the steak, particularly the braised kale. Only real complaint is that we were seated outside on a nice evening that more than a few individuals with loud tailpipes decided it would be "cool" to rev their engines as they drove by. Nothing the restaurant can really do about that, but does distract from the ambiance.
Josh our waiter was the best. He knows the menu and was able to answer all of our questions. Two of us in my group had never eaten at LB and our other friend had. She had raved about it for years and we finally took her there for her birthday. We had the pork chops, lobster tail and Branzini (sp) fish and kale and mashed potatoes as sides. Every dish was delicious. We also had a nice bottle of wine. I am planning on returning soon and enjoying another lovely evening at LB.
We have dined at LB Steak several times and have always enjoyed . Last nights experience was disappointing for several reasons. When reservation was made, we were told it would be outside on a patio with heaters. All heaters in our section were broken. It was cold and windy. The service was poor, and orders were incorrect.

Out with wife for a quick dinner. Service was great, steaks came out perfectly cooked, but cold. Potato’s were piping hot, so I’m guessing the steaks were waiting on the potatoes for a bit too long.
Didn’t bring it up because we didn’t have time to send them back, so saw no need the bother the wait staff with it. I ate my because I was starving, my wife took a couple bites, but decided to pass.
This is the second time this has happened with a steak at LB. both times it was busy. Perhaps we should just stay away on busy nights.
Came for my 50th before the Sharks game. Food and service on point.

This was the worst dining experience in years of living in the Bay Area. Service was so poor and slow that I wondered if it was intentional. I am definitely not coming back to LB, nor will anyone in our party as this was simply awful.
It took 30 minutes to get seated with a reservation. After I let the host know that our party was ready to be seated (for a 7 pm reservation), he left and I saw him walk around the restaurant for about 10-15 minutes checking in with other tables and serving wine. The other hostess stood at the host stand right next to us fidgeting with a stack of menus, and when I asked if we could get seated, said that she needed a minute and didn’t offer any explanation for the delay.
Once seated, we had to wave down our server to order food; we had to wave to get his attention multiple times throughout the dinner and several times he walked right by without even looking at the table. It would take two people at our table waving to get him to notice. He would disappear for long periods of time.
Food was good but given the terrible service experience it didn’t matter at all.
It was my birthday and we came from out of town .. one and half hours away.. horrible table.. cold and in the middle of desserted area.. hostess made no accommodations nor did the waiter when asked for different seating. Food was fair but not amazing for the price.. and table ruined whole evening esp when we spent $600.. very disappointed
Reservation was made at 8pm, checked in at 7:45pm was told that my table was being set up! Me and my date waited till 8:30pm after I asked the status a couple of times the response from different people are that table was being set up! No apologies the attitude of the reception staff are very unwelcoming
Lovely restaurant, we return often. Food is fantastic, friendly staff but often long wait times even with a reservations.
Still the best steakhouse in Santa Clara County. Great food and great service. Thanks again!
My fiancé and I went for our anniversary for what turned out to be a great spot. The service was phenomenal as our waiter gave great recommendations that paid off and made the night special at the end. The calamari was perfect and the steaks were even better.

The 35 day aged rib eye was amazing! Needed some sauces which came out towards the end of the meal but it was still pretty good! 4/5 stars yay!
Always consistent. Food, service and ambiance are pleasant. LB is a great place for date night.
Ordered a fillet mignon medium well, it arrived rare. Asked for a new one, came medium rare. Ordered a burger to be cooked medium. Came well done. For a stake house of this level and these prices there should be no such mistakes, ever.
Steak came out colder than the sides. Great flavors. Slow service on a busy night
We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The waiter is doing a great job attending to us and took time explaining each entrée' to us. We ordered the Wagyu steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection.
Got the Tomahawk for 2, curry cauliflower and mashed potatoes for the main course. Sides are big enough to share. The Old Fashion and Manhattan were alright. We ordered Oysters which were pretty good but also quite small in size for the cost because there wasn’t anything special about them. Overall food tasted great, tomahawk was cut up nicely for us and service was great.

While I love the steaks at the restaurant for Valentine’s Day they were totally a cattle ranch.
Tables lined up next to each other so close that you hear them. Hew their food much the less their conversation.
When you pay $250 for a meal for 2 you really expect much more than that.
They don’t have to pack you in like sardines and rush you on and out like cattle.
Not worth it all.
I’ll give them an F.
Everything was perfect. We went for Valentine’s Day and to be honest I was fearful. Usually restaurants tend to produce food that is subpar during the holidays. However this was NOT the case. We were sat immediately after giving the name for the reservation. They gave me rose which was so kind. We only had to wait about 5 minutes before our waiter came (but he came before to introduce himself). For appetizer we ordered the pork belly and it just melted in our mouth. Very flavorful. I ordered the Bronzino for dinner and my boyfriend ordered the Cowboy with truffle fries and macaroni and cheese. Everything was fantastic. Presented beautifully. Flavorful and melted when you bit. The owners were walking around and asking how everything was. All in all 10/10 experience.
Great place for special occasions, including business.
