Chef lee came personally to our table and that shows that the owners are actually interested in knowing what you feel about the place and food. Food was great, didnt like the curry chicken much but everything else we ordered was awesome! Great service and nice atmosphere. Truly a great experience.
Delicious every time! Great portions and atmosphere. There is no mediocre dish on the menu. Plus we got to see the man Susie himself which is always a treat :)
Without a lie, the best meal I have ever experienced. The scallops were amazing, but the Slaw is the best seller for a reason.
Delicious!! Innovative!! Wonderful!!--and I saw the Iron Chef himself!!!
We went to Lee for a friend’s birthday. Everything is intended to be shareable, and the food was outstanding. The service was amazing too. We must have had 5 different people attending to our every need. We all would be anxious to return and will be telling everyone about the fantastic evening.
Always an awesome experience here, and the food is great, oh the slaw I have dreams about it!
The most delicious food I have ever eaten !
The server made excellent suggestions and it was wonderful to see the chef. Always a delight to eat here.
Slaw is immense, as too is the rest of the food. Great for casual or formal dinners.
Amazing as always very happy every time. Live next door and never disappointed
Wow! My expectations were very high because of family and friends that have been and always speaking so highly of the restaurant. When we got there we were greeted and seated with a warm and friendly hostess. Loved the atmosphere and the look of the restaurant. But the show stopper was the food! Dish after dish was a journey of chef Lee’s life and where he’s been. There’s no words that I can use to describe the food. Not only were my expectations met they were excited. Thank you chef Lee. Great food, great night!
Food and Service outstanding as usual. Finally tried the Luckee Shrimp, it is amazing!!
Absolutely love this location! Food, service, quality. If I could give more than 5 stars. I would!
It was incredible, we are filming in the city for the next year and will most certainly be regular diners.
It was fantastic
Had a special anniversary here. Service and ambience was great. Food was delicious!
Overall a very enjoyable evening, however Initial impression not so great as there was some confusion with our reservation time and hostess could have handled more graciously. Once seated, John, our waiter did a fine job, though things felt a bit chaotic at first. Multiple servers assist and overall the service is above average and professional. On to the food. The slaw is excellent, healthy, tasty and fun to have tossed table side. The Tuna Ceviche was very tasty (but blue chips were hard, seemingly stale) the Wahgu Beef Carpaccio with burrata fantastic! The satay entree was good, the chicken was great but the beef & shrimp only OK. Glad I saved room for dessert as the creme brulee which was outstanding! Beautiful restaurant, very lively (read: loud) especially in front room, but our table in the back was more intimate, not too loud. Enjoyable for the 2 of us but I look forward to returning with a group so we can try more items.
We love Lee Restaurant. Though we’ve been to his restaurants in Singapore & Washington, it was a special treat to see Susar Lee in the Restauarant, chatting with guests!
Lee has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto - I try to go there every time I’m in town.
Excellent. All categories
AMAZING food, great ambiance. One of the best restaurants in Toronto! Would definitely go back!
Server (John) was excellent and very welcoming. Food was amazing and we will definitely be coming back.
Amazing experience. Will go again
Excellent food and service.
Amazing experience and delicious, thoughtful menu.
Food was excellent and overall experience was great. The staff was courteous but somewhat robotic in their approach. Not necessarily negative but didn’t really contribute to the atmosphere and ambience.
Christmas dinner after we saw Trans Siberian Orchestra
So delicious! Loved the staff, the ambiance, the food presentations! We loved everything!
Food was awesome, our server was incredibly professional, we had a wonderful time.
Limited vegan options but some of the menu items could be made vegan. Singapore slaw was terrific and the servers were well informed and provided great service. Will return.
Always a great time - Love this place!
This place is so disappointing, we left after ordering the Joeys level coleslaw and went to Swattow and ate like kings for a fraction of the price
The servers were rude , and the presentation wasnt great
Delicious food and excellent service. Would definitely go back!
We had the tasting journey and it was excellent. Pricy for many with the wine choices...worth it if it’s in your range.
This was our sixth or seventh time at this restaurant and it was a disappointment. The service was attentive, friendly, and prompt, the ambience was pleasant as usual, but the food was not to the level we have come to expect. The slaw was great as usual, but the other dishes were disappointing. The octopus which used to be one of our favourites (the one at Lee and the version that used to be served at Frings) was lacking in flavour and a bit tough compared to other years we've had it. The slow roasted beef was dry and the texture stringy. We were going to get the tacos but the waitress said the meat in the tacos were the same as this dish and said the tacos had changed and this dish was superior. She specifically mentioned that one of the changes was the adddition of mayonnaise (which might have helped with the dryness but we'll never know. It makes me wonder if her recommendation was objective or if she just had a personal aversion to mayonnaise -- that we do not share). The Cheung Fun was okay but lacking something...we've been to Luckee and this dish was a shadow of the food we experienced there. The Diver Scallops were good but not special. Generally, we had come to expect extra or unexpected flavours and textures to Lee's dishes and this didn't have that. They were well prepared scallops but not so different from a lot of other places. The rice crust was okay but did not make up for lack of natural flavour and texture that would have been in uncovered seared scallops. The char Sui duck was very nice, but it was irritating that it did not come with enough wrappers and condiments to accommodate the amount of meat. This sort of thing really shouldn't happen at a fine dining restaurant.
Took my family out for Boxing Day dinner. Amazing food.
10/10 top to bottom. The food was stellar. Went on a Sunday night. 3 of us shared a coleslaw, cheeseburger spring rolls, luckee shrimp, and duck. It was unreal... everything blew us away. Layers of flavours in every dish. 100% you wont go wrong going here for a special occasion or just regular night out. With a $100 bottle of wine our bill was $300 with 20% tip. Very reasonable for the quality of service and food. Cheers
The cuisine was cafeteria like, the slaw was the highlight of the evening. The rest of all the plates we ordered all tasted the same.
It was like it had all been precooked and just reheated. Banquet hall. Will not go back.
Everything was great my only complaint was the tables were too close together; I felt like the people next to me were really in my face. Lee came to say hello which was a highlight. The food was amazing.
All was quite good. Was annoyed by our servers lack of communication and how long it took in between dishes.
We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Lee. The internationally famous slaw should definitely be on your order. The restaurant met its reputation as one of the very best.
