First time dining here, such welcoming service from all staff!

I saw that they had a back patio, which our waiter said it’s probably going to be cold due to their heaters not working. So being inside their lovely restaurant was just as great!

I was really hoping to like this place and yet I didn't. I wouldn't go back. The guacamole was completely under-seasoned. The mole came with 2 tortillas (4 would have been nice) and a tiny mound of rice with a small piece of chicken. Nothing wowed us. When we asked the waiter for suggestions he was not helpful at all. Steered us towards soup after we asked about other dishes. We were there for dinner, not lunch. We sent the first dish back. It was a joke that there was one skinny piece of meat and two big pieces of chard flour tortillas with I don't know what inside, it wasn't good. We ordered a salad thinking that couldn't go wrong but it was drenched in dressing. In my notes for the reservation, I noted it was a birthday and there was no acknowledgment. At the end of the meal, we were just ready to leave. The menu needs help!! I don't understand the high rating. I'm a huge foodie and this was a huge disappointment!

The food is delicious I drive an hour and a half just to eat here! Closest thing to the food from the motherland

Guac and margs were good but overall the food wasn’t great for the high prices.

As usual very nice servers and really delicious food the heaters are amazing and keep you warm during the outdoor dinning kids loved it one of our favorite places to dine

Fabuloso todo... a favorite now and before. You won’t be disappointed... great guacamole, wonderful salmon... to die for homemade tortillas... the enfrijoladas... can’t describe except I dream about them. Have ordered lots of dishes and always happy.

Good, socially distanced tables, great ambience

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise! I am a true fan of mexican food, but I prefer the more traditional and authentic type so I am usually very skeptical trying one that I am unfamiliar with. Mezcal exceeded my expectations!! The food was delicious!! All of the dishes we chose (4 persons) were fresh, hot and very different. Wonderful salad and add to you dish options and out on the patio the ambiance was delightful! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Delicious food! Got the rib eye and this was perfectly cooked and super moist. Loved the sweet potatoes and greens with it. The mole was delectable and the chicken was very soft.

Service was top notch! I loved the memelitas as a starter. You got to try this! Overall, we enjoyed our meal here. They did a great job with COVID-19 procedures--all tables were separated with plastic and distancing. Great job!

Wonderful - never disappoints.

Mezcal is doing a great job keeping customers safe and distance. The bag to keep your mask while you eat is a really nice touch.

Ambiance on the spacious outside patio was good; overhead heaters were available, which we did not need that evening. Food was all very good, except that I didn't like their tortilla soup; it tasted like the liquid used was just taco sauce. Presentation of the food was lovely.

Great food. I don't even like mole and I loved theirs. The food felt very authentic and well made.

We had Chicken enchiladas. The tortillas were empty and the chicken and cheese was placed on top. (Brest and drumette). Flavors were very good in Black Mole.
The shrimp salad was excellent.

Food and service - excellent! I’ll definitely crave the salmon burger it was fabulous and well done crispy fries (by request) also perfect.

Not knowing what to expect, I made reservations and they put us in a patio area, which was pretty and relaxing. Also, in a pandemic, it appears a safe environment. They distanced diners, had a bag for masks, and on the bag was a QR code to access the menu. They put much thought into how to keep people safe and business going. Great food, we (3 people) all had different meals that were excellent. I had the salmon/rice/broc/squash dish which was so light, refreshing and flavorful. Chips were fresh. We tried the grasshoppers for the first time, which were good and great fun. I would TOTALLY come here again and try other dishes.

Service was a bit slow initially and it took a while to get beverages on a hot day. Service recovered though.

Great service and awesome food! This is a Oaxaqueño restaurant, very traditional and the taste is perfect. And the best part is the dessert (TRES LECHES) !

I have no doubt, it is one of my favorite places.

The guacamole, chapulines, drinks and main courses were excellent. The moles, salad with salmon and enchiladas were all very well prepared and each had a fresh, distinctive flavor. This is good Oaxacan style food. The chips and salsa were okay. Service was excellent, friendly and professional. We will definitely go again.

Love the outdoor ambiance! Their indoor/outdoor courtyard is airy, shaded and perfect for COVID compliant seating. Service was super fast and the food was excellent

The mole is the reason to go! It's rich and delicious.
The chicken that came with the enchiladas mole however, was really dry and tough. I won't order that again.
I ordered a mojito and it was made with Mezcal. Off the chart refreshing and delicious!
They took reasonable precautions due to Covid. They sectioned each table off with hanging curtains and sanitized the tables before we sat down.

Always have an overall great experience here on special occasions. Thank you.
