The salmon special and the veal chop special were outstanding. The service was excellent.

Our meals at Mezza Norte were truly delicious. Risotto with tenderloin tips and Scallops on pasta in a garlic, lemon and butter sauce. Topped off with great service and a ricotta cake desert.

Food was absolutely fabulous. Even though I had looked at your menu and had my heart set on ahi tuna. The only downside was the noise.

We had a wonderful meal with outstanding service. The lemon sorbet with a candle was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday.

Our party of three was disappointed with two of our meals, primarily the rabbit ragout. We have previously enjoyed the dish and often order it. This time my adult daughter ordered it and stopped eating after a few bites. We switched meals and I, too was unimpressed. The second dish, fillet tips risotto, was also less than awesome. I'm sorry to say this, but at present I would not recommend MezzaNotte without telling them about this recent disappointment.

Service and food excellent

Everything about this evening was great! Love the ambience, food, and staff. This place is a gem out in Albany! Would definitely visit again next time we are in town!

Terrific food and service. Perfect for your go-to familiar place or a special occasion. The beet salad and rabbit ragu were outstanding.

Duck meatballs with polenta appetizer was excellent. Ricotta gnocchi was pillowy soft and very flavorful. Lasagna was lackluster, which surprised us because the server raves about it. Overall great experience and good food

When we arrived, we were told the restaurant hadn’t had power for 2 days. We never received a call or alerted to this prior to arriving. Other than that, everything was great, besides the fact the dinner my wife wanted wasn’t available since the power was out. Food was great, and our waitress was even better.

It was quite a night for the staff 9/20/19. They had no electric power, but, gas fed flat top, burners, oven
were on but everything else was OFF. Outstanding job for the staff/chef working with candles and cell phone lights. They didn't miss a beat, in the DARK. Quite romantic....

Wonderful meal, excellent wait staff (Samira). Will definitely return!

MezzaNotte is one of our favorite places to dine. It is always an extremely enjoyable experience!

2nd time there-anniversary.
The tomatoes were picked at 5 hours before we ate. Enough said.
Wine's great; service, too. Their menu changes seemed based on what was freshest. Go with it.

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. The service is excellent, and the food is always perfect.

My husband and I ordered the special: loin of veal wrapped in prosciutto served with beans. It was excellent. Our waitress recognized us from previous dining experiences at the restaurant and she was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Mezza Notte.

The clams and sausage had just the right spicy tomato sauce. The bronzini had a crispy crust and melted in your mouth. The lobster pasta was excellent. Loved it! The service is always exceptional.

Delicious- however the braciole wasn’t nearly stuffed enough. Portions were slightly smaller than what is common, dessert menu was limited.

Great for a weekday dinner....much quieter and very good staff attention. Food is always very good...and creative dishes.

This meal at Mezza Notte was like all the others, excellent. We have eaten there at least 8 times over the past few years. Anytime we have important visitors we prefer to take them to Mezza Notte. The food is the closest to true Northern Italian food we have ever found in the States. The duck meatballs appetizer is out of this world tasty!

Only my first time and I was very impressed! I will definitely return! Service was excellent. Very warm and welcoming staff. Food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I really loved the cozy neighborhood feel!

Wonderful find, thanks to Open Table. We were in Albany area for just one night, but OT reviews steered us to this outstanding restaurant (and note that evaluation comes with 290 reservations in my background, around the world). MezzaNotte was everything you could ask for. Outstanding service, lively crowd making it feel like an exciting evening out, and of course marvelous food. The MezzaNotte salad with fresh figs was a highlight. A slight delay for the table was expertly handled, a sign of a remarkably well run establishment. We do not often stay in Albany, but we do pass through, and now will have a definite dining stop when that happens.

I have been here several times and the food, ambiance, and service is wonderful. The server on Saturday was nothing more than delightful and deserves 5 stars. The restaurant should present daily specials on a scroll served with the menu allowing the diners to think about the choices.

We enjoyed an excellent meal with great prices. Will definitely return!

We hadn't been to MezzaNotte for awhile, so it was nice to get back to one of our favorite places. Our table was ready when we arrived, and they seated us in a nice booth in the back. They have special homegrown tomatoes for their salad which are wonderful. Everything we had was delicious!
Great to see that nothing had changed.

Great place and food

We had dinner with another couple. The food and atmosphere was great. We were able to conversate with no problem; did not feel rushed.

Our first experience at MezzaNotte was not a disappointment! The food was delicious and our waitress, Jessica, was just wonderful. I would definitely dine there again!
