Morgan & Co. - Glens Falls
Service was excellent, as was the food and I enjoyed my first visit. I thought the prices were a bit high and prohibitive. We had the meatballs, fried coconut shrimp, and Moroccan bowl.
Chef Rebecca ALWAYS does an excellent job creating her culinary wonders. This is our go-to place for a great meal in the area.
Brussels sprouts were slightly under-cooked. Buffalo cauliflower was a bit too sweet. Beet salad was excellent. Sauteed mushrooms uninspired. Cauliflower mac and cheese was excellent (what's not to like?)
Very enjoyable, food excellent, staff very attentive, no request was denied, highly recommend to all!
Always a great night out. Never disappointed. Outstanding service, food and great place for a romantic night out!!
For years I’ve been sure to stop here on the drive between New York City and Lake Placid. Their food is delicious and their portions hearty. The bouillabaisse is a must-order.
Had excellent service by a very outgoing waiter he was a pleasure. The food was extremly good and would recommend to anyone in the area of Glen Falls the town was charming and the mansion was beautifully kept.
On a trip to Lake George we happened upon Morgan & Co. the space is gorgeous, the service attentive without being intrusive and the food fabulous. Our only regret is that it is 3 hours from our home!
An absolutely fabulous dinner from start to finish. Everything was delicious and well presented. Our server was attentive and professional yet friendly. We will definitely be back!
Nice place, ok food, some good menu items, but always something off and too noisy.
For example: Brussels sprouts not caramelized and way too sweet. Breading in pork chop way too much. Menu doesn’t state fisherman’s platter is ALL FRIED.
Better if they tried to do fewer items and types of foods and if them better.
Never occurs to me to go to Glens Falls for dinner. Hey, I'm closer to Saratoga. What a mistake this had been! If you are suspicious about the high ratings Morgan and Co has, don't be. It is all deserved. The wait staff is excellent in seeing to your top notch dining experience. While prices are a bit high nothing about the taste says it wasn't worth it. From first bite to last, delicious.
Really great food and drinks. Glad we were recommended to go there!
Although the food , setting and service were all excellent I felt the prices were high. I dine out frequently at similar places with CIA graduate chefs with the same quality of food for somewhat less. Some of the entrees were $30+ which seemed excessive.
Rebecca is so talented. We come from Boston and whenever we are in the area, we make sure to visit Morgan & Co for a real treat—wishing it were closer to Boston! How she combines ideas one would not guess to real delights is amazing- as in swordfish schnitzel.
Drinks, service, salads, food, ambiance are terrific. Bravo!

What great food and service in a wonderful setting.
Had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly, was tender and delicious, well worth the price. Husband had pork chop which was excellent as well. Tables are a little close but not an extremely busy evening so noise level not an issue. Waiter very attentive, experienced and he did an excellent job as well. Would not hesitate to return as well as recommend.
Great place have been multiple times always great.
First time using open table also a GREAT service
Our server was awesome. Our meal was outstanding. We would go back in a heartbeat!
Food was superb. Shaun was a great waiter. Highly recommend.
Love this place, food is outstanding and staff is friendly. One of the best places to eat great food in a beautiful place north of saratoga.
Being a cook myself I found the food to be just ok and over priced. It was unfortunate that I ordered a dish that I make myself and found that my recipe blew theirs away.
This is a lovely restaurant in an old mansion (or very large house). It has beautiful garden seating, which was empty when we arrived at a fairly early dinner hour, though populated by the time we left. We opted for porch seating, a little warmer than the garden, as it was a nice evening and outside was more inviting than in. We both opted for the prix fixe, I think a good value at $44. I started with candied garlic spare ribs, nice balance of sweet and spicy with the red pepper glaze. A generous serving too. My husband had their she-crab soup, a very good bisque. My entree was Moroccan mixed grill, which was shrimp, chicken kebabs and Colorado lamb chop, seasoned with harissa and served with a mild coconut curry broth. These elements were cooked perfectly and it was served with couscous and roasted, slightly undercooked, vegetables. My husband had a special swordfish on the prix fixe menu, schnitzel. Very unique and tasty and large but marred by rice served on top which sogged the schnitzel. Dessert on the prix fixe was listed as chocolate mousse but we were told by our excellent waiter that we could have pretty much any dessert. My husband had a great carrot cake and I opted for the mousse. We had them to go because we were very full. Had them later and I just wished I had put the mousse in the fridge as it had gotten a little runny. But tasty and filling despite looking like a small serving. Overall a very good experience, definitely recommend.
Everything we ate from the Moroccan Cigars to the Cordon Bleu to the carrot cake was amazing . Service was impeccable. This is my favorite restaurant and I can’t wait to return !!
The entire evening was perfect from the moment the manager greeted us. The ambience was delightful. Our waiter Joe was friendly and attentive. Our cocktails were delicious. We had several appetizers each was unique, creative and special. The dessert was awesome. We ran out of room in our bellies. Look forward to coming back again to try new dishes. We have never been disappointed at this restaurant. Thank you
We reserved a table for our employees and they said they loved it and it was “The best meal I’ve ever had”
Great new seared tuna dish with peppercorn sauce and cauliflower in brown butter!
LOVE IT! LOVE THE PEOPLE!!! LOVE THE FOOD!!!!!! The total atmosphere is GENUINE!!!
Waiter was not as attentive as we would have expected. Pork chop meat was reddish pink by the bone. Hanger steak was delicious, fried oysters were good and so was she crab soup. Dessert was yummy. Perfect later summer night to sit on the porch.
Food was outstanding! Filet mignons were cooked perfectly...medium rare as ordered. Duck pate was exceptional. The aroma from the lamb "cigar" appetizer melted my heart and the taste was to die for. Our friend regretted the next day not taking the leftovers from her Moroccan bowl with shrimp back to the hotel so she could have savored the leftovers for breakfast. Truly an outstanding meal. Our waiter, Everett, was very courteous and solicitous. Haven't had as good a dining experience as this in awhile. Our thanks to the team at Morgan & Co.
Great service, great food. We were extremely pleased with the food, presentation and taste. The service was great. We will return.
We recently went to Morgan & Co for our Anniversary Dinner. The food was incredible and the service was great too! We sat out on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful late summer evening.
We love coming to this restaurant we go about once a month but this was the first time we where actually disappointed. Our waitress was MIA for quite some time when we needed drinks refilled, got our meals sent out with no steak knives and we tried getting her attention 3-4 times for steak knives. I got the NY strip steak and I asked medium came out bloody and charred on the outside. I hope this was a fluke.
This is a first rate restaurant. The location, the first floor of a handsome, one-time single-family home, was beautifully restored before opening as a restaurant. The room where we sat was spacious and nicely decorated, and the noise level was moderate.
Our waiter made two recommendations, the halibut and the Texas brisket lasagna, both of which were excellent. Service was excellent.
As we were leaving, we asked the hostess about the history of the house. She was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic in describing the derivation of the restaurant’s name, how the house came to be, and how it became the restaurant.
Considering the quality of the food, the level of service, and the handsome decor, I think the restaurant provides good value. We went on a special occasion, our last night of a week-long vacation in the area, and I would definitely recommend it for special occasions.
Rebecca is always meticulous on food and service. Been going for years and have never had a bad meal or experience!
Great food wonderful to eat on patio. Highly recommended
Great ambiance for special occasion or casual meal.
Sean was our waiter, and he was outstanding. We had a private table which required him to run up and down stairs to serve us. He was personable and attentive.
Our food was excellent. All four of us enjoyed our evening and look forward to a return visit.
The Food Quality and service were top notch! They did an excellent job with food allergies accommodations.
I go to Morgan & Co. every time I am in Glens Falls. I have never been disappointed in any dish that I have ordered. This time was no exception. Although the halibut entree was delicious and very satisfying, the highlight was the she-crab soup appetizer. It is outstanding. Wish I lived closer to be able to enjoy it again.
Service was attentive and I appreciated her recommendations. It was a pleasure to meet the talented chef.
