Really delicious food. All the courses were prepared with fresh the ingredients, special arrangements and cooked perfectly. We sat outside and the restaurant was doing they best to make it nice and warm. Our server was very nice and attentive. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Excellent service and food.
We enjoyed delicious food and excellent service as is always the case at Naschmarkt!
Fantastic service, not so much from the waiter but from the table help. They were very attentive and available. Food was great, sausage appetizers were good and I loved the scallops--it can with some kind of nuts with an awesome sauce. Butter leaf salad was very good and the toasted pumpkin seeds were a wonderful accent. just wished there were more things on the menu, no specials due to COVID we were told.
"Chocolate chip bread pudding" was a slight disappointment, it was dry and heavy with no taste of chocolate at all except for an unsweetened chocolate powder on top. It did come with a tasty creme on the side I was told was melted vanilla ice cream.
Due to COVID we had to sit outdoors right off the street, which was not fun, but we had our own heatlamps. All in all, a great experience.
Enjoyed the Valentine’s evening dinner. Great food and the Austrian wines we a delight.
Seated on time under veranda with space heating. We experienced some rain but had no effect on us. Wait staff was attentive. Food is consistently great! Love this place....
Great and professional service and excellent Old Fashioned cocktails.
This was my second visit and it was delicious. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. I will continue to come back when I’m in town.
Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service as always. COVID aware and outside dining with heat lamps.
The food at Naschmarkt is always amazing and authentic. I love dining there and regret that we now have to wait for some time until we can enjoy eating at the restaurant again.
Food is always excellent, but what we love most is the wonderful group of staff who makes us feel like home every time we visit :)
GREAT FOOD and trying to make the best of a tough situation (covid-dining outside in the cooler weather)!! The wait staff is FANTASTIC!! The drive from Los Gatos was worth it! We miss you in LG!! Always happy to support local small businesses!!
Delicious food and amazing service!
Once again the food was excellent, the service impeccable, overall experience fantastic. While eating outside is not the same ambience as being seated in doors, the food and the service make it all worthwhile. Thank you for a lovely evening.
It is always a great experience. they serve quality food and the service is always wonderful. one of my favorite restaurants.
They do a great job for outdoor COVID dining. We had a really cool area to ourselves that was plenty warm for us. Maybe the only drawback was out of their control and that would be the couple times that loud cars/motorcycles revved their engines right next to our table.
Food was excellent as always....we had great cauliflower soup, schnitzel, and stroganoff.
We had the male waiter with the long hair. Food was good. Men shouldn’t have long hair. Just an opinion. Very talented server. However, with the mask on, I can’t tell if it’s a man or woman. Don’t like feeling confused. The apple strudel is delicious. Also liked the sea bass. Tell joe or whatever to see a barber. Would recommend this place. My date loved her wines but she’s not very discerning so i dont think that means much.
Everything was delicious (as usual) - make sure to try the stroganoff if available!
Sitting on the street is not ideal. Naschmarkt seems to be the only restaurant that has not put plywood down to level the street, so you spend the whole time hoping your food won’t slide off the table, but you get a bonus core workout making sure you don’t slide off your chair! The pandemic creates issues, but the Naschmarkt experience is not as good as other DT Campbell restaurants for the price point. Food okay, but has lost something under new mgmnt.
I don’t think it’s fair to rate ambiance and noise level, given that seating is outside next to parked cars. We’ve eaten here several times and this time the food was a bit so-so. My husband’s Schnitzel was great but my trout dish was disappointing. No depth in flavor, all bland, except for salt. Lots of it. The red cabbage was also rather flavorless. Dessert and appetizer were great, and the service phenomenal.
I love Nashmarkt but they were out of the trout, opted for fusili and sadly it was blah 😒. First unsatisfactory meal in all my years of eating here. Muscles, wine and kraut roladen (misspelled 🤪), were excellent 👍🏽
Great food, outstanding service. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner (our first dining-out experience of COVID-19), and the Naschmarkt staff really made it feel like a special occasion. Everything we ordered was delicious: (appetizers) pretzel, sausage trio, butternut squash soup; (main) duck confit, jagerschnitzel; (dessert) souffle and apple strudel. All the dishes were brought out in a timely manner as to not avoid crowding our table. We sat outside, and although it was a breezy 70 degrees, the heat lamps kept us warm. Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and one I would love to repeat in the future!
Had an excellent diner at Naschmarkt for my husband's birthday last Friday. Very very good service and as usual the food was delicious
Great food and amazing service! Highly recommend if you’re a foodie. They do have vegetarian and vegan options so don’t let the menu shy you away. My husband is a meat eater and I’m vegetarian. I was hesitant to try since there’s not much in the veggie choices. Just let your server know you’re vegan or vegetarian and they will give you amazing options!
Outdoor dining in Campbell is very noisy due to cars being able to still drive through. Hopefully indoor dining can resume once Covid numbers continue to go down.
We had a delicious meal and great service at Naschmarkt last Thursday. The food was plentiful, the wine recommendation was wonderful, and the accommodation to my husband's gluten allergy was appreciated. The safety protocols were also clear and appropriate. We are excited to return and try new items next time. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey in comparison with similar quality restaurants. We probably paid about one quarter to one third more than typical for a similar meal elsewhere.
With the COVID restoriction, we were uncertain and a little apprehensive what the experience would be like, but Naschmarkt's neighbors have kindly allowed them to place tables in front of their businesses, so there's plenty of safe social-distanced seating.
Our waiter was awesome. He started by asking what kind of cocktails my wife enjoyed, and suggested one of their specialties, which she didn't trust. But I ordered it, and it was great. She also tasted it, and agreed. When our waiter returned to ask how we were enjoying the cocktails, he asked my wife if she had tasted mine. She sheepishly had to admit she liked it, and from that point on we took everyone of his recommendations.
And they were all great! Starting with the seared scallops appetizer. For dinner, I enjoyed the wiener schnitzel, and my wife loved her pork schnitzel. THe wines our waiter suggested complemented the food very well - an Austrian white and a California Pinot Noir. They also brought a very nice dessert to celebrate my birthday.
We can't wait to go back. I want to try the goulash and the beef stroganoff.
Absolutely fantastic meal, everyone in our party of six commented that every single dish was wonderful. Cannot recommend this place enough !
Excellent food and service! The atmosphere was a little crazy with the tables being outside and all of the pedestrians walking by but not the fault of the restaurant.
Always a special treat. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!
Delicious, creative menu. Excellent service. The corn soup was very tasty with the kettle corn garnish, how clever! Ambience a little lacking with Covid restrictions but they did a good job under the circumstances! We will return!
Food was excellent; very authentic. Good German and Austrian beer selection. Dined outside on Campbell avenue (Campbell has done well closing the street to allow restaurants to spread out.) Staff was friendly and did a decent job wrt Covid precautions.
Son in law’s birthday
Delicious food. Outdoor seating due to Covid and it was really pleasant. Can’t wait to return.
Delicious European flavors! Every bit was yummy from appetizer to dessert!
Corn soup is wonderful, so strong corn flavor. Sausage trio cook at perfection, crispy outside and juicy inside. Love the spicy sausage (middle). Main courses, somehow is so so for me. Look good but just not amazing. However, desserts are 10 stars. The chocolate cake and soufflé are must order.
We went there on a Sat evening for dinner. The street has been closed and all restaurants have put tables out in the street for dining. The street was completely packed!! While undesirable from a pandemic standpoint, it made for a lively dining experience - with the added bonus of a street musician providing background score!
We were seated at a table on the sidewalk, which was fairly distanced from others. The only nuisance was pedestrians that would brush past us, many of them not wearing masks :-(
Service was excellent, responsive and friendly. We got clean silverware and plates after each course, and they cleaned up the table in between as well.
Food was incredibly flavorful. The spicy bratwurst packed a punch but was bursting with flavors. The spatzle was milder, yet tasty. The pretzel was a disappointment - the bread was dry and crumbly, even though it was partly compensated by the excellent gruyere and speck topping. Classic schnitzel (we got pork, not veal) was light and non-greasy. Accompanying potato salad was also light and savory. We got a side of red cabbage that went well with the meal. Roasted Halibut was flaky, also with great flavor. For dessert, we got the apple strudel, which was warm and juicy. They have an extensive menu of cocktails, wine and beer. We decided to get a few German beers, which were pretty good.
All in all, the food and service were excellent. Portions are right sized, though a bit pricey in some cases. Outdoor dining can be a mixed experience, could've been better. We enjoyed the place and will definitely be back whenever we want to try some German / Austrian food and beer!
Great restaurant. Great food. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great experience.
We started with a flavorful bottle of cabernet from Paso Robles followed by a sausage appetizer and a salad with goat cheese. Our entrees were goulash and rouladen, both exceptional. The apricot dessert was the final touch. Our waiter was very helpful and steered us in the right direction regarding our orders. Naschmarkt is the place to dine if you enjoy traditional Austrian cuisine.
Amazing food, experience, and service . Loved the smoked chicken spatzle appetizer, beef goulash, and soufflé! Best blueberries soufflé I’ve ever had! Coffee was great too! Served with warm milk on the side . Great service! Waitress was very knowledgeable in her recommendations of dishes and wine. Will definitely go back!
