One of the top 3 dining experiences I have had in NJ. Highly recommended
Appetizers were great but some of the entrees came out luke warm and had to be sent back. Service was spotty.
First visit. Amazing staff, delicious food and beautiful setting.
5 star for Ambiance! Food is good, well prepared simple food like I cook daily in my house. Food prices are extremely expensive for the product and portions received.
We have never been disappointed. This visit we were entertaining a very important client. Food allergies were quickly resolved, as always. It was excellent and reasonably priced. Our client commented that they would be returning with their friends.
A favorite restaurant of ours. The atmosphere is welcoming from when you are greeted at the valet and the front desk check-in. The restaurant is beautiful. The wine list is a book with so many choices. We appreciated that recommended wines were on the day's menu. We selected the Bon Anno Cabernet and it was great! The only beer they serve is craft beer so be prepared to view the menu of craft beers. Our server did not share the range of craft beers available but a trip up to the bar showcased a wide range of craft beers to chose from. The beet salad was refreshing. The Griggstown chicken was moist and extremely delicious. The chicken was served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh string beans. The portion sizes are very good. We ordered two sides - creamed spinach and fried sweet potatoes. The sides were nice additions - good but we ordered too much food. The service was good and not as I have experienced. Our server was delayed in getting us drinks when we sat down. When we ordered, he stopped at another table to speak to the guests. And, as I mentioned earlier, our server did not share the other craft beers that were available. Otherwise, it was very, very good!
Food is tiny, overly pricey and not worth it. Not enough of a choice to pick from. Appetizers did not make sense
Ninety Acres is one of our favorite restaurants and my wife’s occasion celebration place. It never disappoints.
Had the prix-fixe menu and the truffle risotto was phenomenal. The rabbit was great as well. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the music playing in the restaurant, but it wasn’t a big deal. Otherwise, the meal was outstanding.
Absolutely fantastic meal!!!
Great place for a nice / special occasion dinner. Food was unusually delicious and worth the extra$$.
Very nice dinner. Excellent food. Not a huge menu. Certain foods overpriced. Cocktails were great.
Ninety Acres never disappoints. Service is fantastic and food always delicious.
Our server was absolutely wonderful . Always anticipating needs , very accommodating to any dietary restrictikns
Overall amazing experience. Food great & nice overall evening.
Great spot for a special occasion to celebrate with family and friends
Second time there. First time, 6 years ago, was pretty good. This time, food was not nearly worth the money paid. Food was not bad, but what we got for the money was not what we expected. We eat out at restaurants a lot were definitely not impressed.
My wife and I discussed the possibility of going back and we both agreed that neither of us had any desire to return.
Our second visit, better than the first, and the first was spectacular’
The food was outstanding. Still dreaming about the gnudi and truffles!
Our server Nicole was so welcoming as this was our first time dining at Ninety Acres . Her suggestions were fabulous and the final suggestion of the pumpkin zeppoles was the icing on the cake !!
Thank you for making our Anniversary celebration so memorable!
We’ll certainly be back !!!
We were sorry it was dark outside and we will definitely return for lunch so we can see the beauty of the grounds. We loved how elegant but casual out dinner was. The food and service was excellent.
Amazing - a must!!!
Was expecting much more, food was somewhat bland, nothing special and way overpriced for the quality
Lighting could be better. I saw a few guests including us using our mobile phone light to read the menu.
Excellent food. They customized the three course menu for our dietary needs. The "Natirar eggs" were out of this world...
For a very expensive restaurant I expect outstanding food. I rate the food overall as pedestrian. I had a steak which I could have had at Outback for a much lower price. The ambiance is great but the restaurant was only about 1/2 full and the noise level was such that it was difficult to hear the waitress and to have a discussion at the table.
Always a great meal and very relaxing. The ambiance is fantastic which made our special evening even more special. Enjoy!
We've been fans of Ninety Acres for a number of years and unfortunately this time was very disappointing. The menu was changed, more limited options, quality was not the same and the prices seemed to increase. Very disappointed with our meal this time and the menu changes.
We celebrated our anniversary. The food and service were excellent. My only complaint would be that it was a bit noisy. But it was also filled to capacity on a busy Saturday night.
Chef tasting was nothing special. Overpriced. Long wait between courses only to be disappointed. Small portions. Left starving. Service was condescending and bismal.
The food and service are amazing. The restaurant is beautiful inside. We are looking forward to going back again.
Great venue. Food was excellent. A little pricey but good value for money
Great ambiance, the food seemed excessively salty.
Arrived on a rainy night and valeted the car. Valets did not open my or my wifes cr doors. I dont mind but in typical high end restaurants valets more attentive.
Walked in and girl at the counter was on phone and didn't look up. There did not appear to be a coat room and no one asked if they could take our coats. Hostess arrived a minute or 2 later and saw us to our table and gave us the wine list only. A few minutes later server came over and took our drink order , we were only having water, and brought us menus. Bread and butter arrived at table but server didn't come back for quite a while to take our order. After she took our order, food arrived fairly quickly and was very good though I felt portions were small. Server was rather inattentive compared to all the servers at the tables surrounding us.
Upon leaving , I had to walk out in the rin to give the valet my ticket. I then waited inside. Car was brought quickly but then we had to walk back in the rain to car as valets did not have umbrellas. Overall, good is very good but portions are small. Ambiance is very nice. Service was lackluster and missing little details you would expect from a high end restaurant.
Treated my BFF for her birthday as I have heard so much about Ninety Acres. We were very excited and feeling adventurous we both agreed to order the Chef Tasting menu. They offered to tell us the menu or be surprised. We agreed to be surprised and it was a big mistake because unfortunately, for an $85 3-course menu we were very disappointed overall. The first course was a plain salad, the second course was a plain pasta. The 3rd course was actually an amazing venison dish, which, of course, was the best of the 3 courses. However, for $85 and the reputation of Ninety Acres, it was NOT worth it. Should have just ordered a la carte or asked to know the menu. But the way it was presented to us we got the sense that it would be a much better experience to leave it up to the chef. Oh well, lessons learned---ask about the menu first if you are going for the Chef Tasting.
Menu was really limited, they took their famous pizza off the regular dining menu. The food was subpar. Really disappointing.
Awesome food, awesome service.
I had requested bmf room as I have been there many times and am familiar with the restaurant. Was told no room once I arrived. Restaurant was half empty but made to wait anyway. Given a dark table and next to a large group with small children which wasn’t necessary bc it was not busy. Dinner for 4 took 3 hours and only bc we kept asking about our food while other tables got theirs. I won’t go there again. Especially not for a $500 check where there were only 2 drinks. We all felt our servers were great. Seemed to be a management issue- no apologies from anyone except our sweet server and helper.
Love this place so much!
