Valentines Day should be about romance. It was the opposite. So loud! Too many tables too close together. Had to yell to hear each other. It was awful. We would go again but not on a special occasion like V Day. Food was good. Service was good. Just too much energy for Valentines Day.
The food was fantastic, our server was great! It was a little hard to hear, but it was Valentine's Day, so crowd noise was to be expected. Price was what you would expect, we really had a nice time.
Always an amazing dining experience. Great food, great staff, friendly welcoming owner.
Awesome as usual! ❤️
Amazing food, phenomenal entertainment!
It was our 50th Anniversary dinner and our first time there! We are very impressed with everything!
We made a reservation on line. Our table was ready early. Server was excellent. Food was exceptional.
Noise level very loud.
I knew it was noisy based on past experience, but the food, service, and entertainment is very good.
The food was amazing! Both meals were so delicious. Our server was great as well. It was our first time there, but definitely not our last.
We love Nora's! Great for dinner or just grabbing a cocktail and apps at the bar. Live music in most weekends adds to the experience!
Always a solid experience. Live music and lively atmosphere. Really good food and drinks. Brussels sprouts are a must.
The restaurant has a comfy feel to it. In the summer I enjoy sitting next to a window and enjoying the view of the lake.
Our dining area was attached to the bar area so it was fairly noisy, had to raise our voices at times to be heard.
The menu is varied, my husband and I had seafood prepared differently and we both enjoyed.
Our waitress was friendly and unobtrusive.
Wow! We're always looking for good food close to Granby ... we found it!
Everything went well.
Casual food, Lots of locals
I would recommend Nora's but might suggest a weeknight visit. Our waitress Rachel was lovely and attentive, there is a nice wine list and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Everything was cooked as requested and portion size was good. The only damper on the evening was the noise level. You couldn't hear yourself think much less hold a conversation. We ended up taking some of our dinners home and didn't stay for coffee or dessert. Most of the volume was coming from 1 table and I'm sure the likelihood of running into them again is unlikely.
For starters we got the Gorgonzola bread and it was delicious, that flavor just didn’t carry over to the entree. The rice pilaf side had less flavor than Uncle Ben’s, we recommend you get pasta or the whipped potatoes. The meals were of good portion; however they weren’t commensurate with the price with regard to flavor. The staff was very friendly, and made it worth trying again if in the area.
The exterior was not a good indicator of the good food inside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bar had a hard time tapping a new batch of beer so we had to settle for a can instead.
Sat on the balcony with a nice water view. Monday and Tuesday nights they offer a great discount on their regular entrees. Food and service were exceptionally good. Waitress was attentive and very pleasant.
Service and food was excellent. Waitress was attentive and helpful. My friend and I will be back, and will recommend to our friends. WE will dine early to avoid the music which I understand is very loud.
Don't let the exterior scare you away. The food is amazing, and the staff couldn't be any nicer.
We had a wonderful dinner,! The service was great,!we took our time and relaxed having our dinner!
Nora's is a favorite spot for us. Food is consistently outstanding. Staff is friendly and efficient. Live music was just a bonus!
The food was excellent but the portions were small for the amount of money we spent.
Nice place and great food. Good menu selections. Oysters, Brussel sprouts and lamb stand out apps. Scallops, salmon and steaks all excellent. Service can be spotty but acceptable.
The food was great, amazing staff, lovely ambiance. Only thing I didn’t like was the noise level but not much can be done about it.
Great service and food within a very warm atmosphere. Thank you
The food and service were great! However, we sat in the dining room which was only about half full and the ambient noise was overwhelming. It was difficult to carry on a normal conversation.
Really enjoys Nora's. This visit I was a little disappointed. I had requested a high top in the bar which was not honored, and my mahi mahi was not very good. The other two people in the party were pleased with their meals. We always have a good time listening to Sam!!
The food, drinks and service were excellent. Dined on a Saturday night at 6 PM. Nice location and view. However it was so loud we could not hear or converse. Party of 6, special birthday celebration. We ended up leaving without dessert as we just couldn’t hear each other. We’re not old fuddy-duddies that complain and grouse and we like to have a good time, but the tables are pretty packed in a small back room with little to absorb the noise. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.
This was our 3rd visit. We brought several friends who were very impressed and are anxious to return!!
My only minor complaint is that the chairs need to be cushioned. After a few enjoyable hours they become uncomfortable.
We had an excellent time at Nora's. The food was fantastic along with the service. The only complaint we had was that the music was so loud we felt like we were yelling at each other across the table. However, the acoustic guys that were playing were awesome so the music was great. We even stayed to listen to them until they were done. Will definitely be back!
This was our first time trying Nora’s. I didn’t look into it much other than menu so we weren’t aware that there was live music. The space is small enough where no matter where you sit the music is pretty loud. The food was good but not as good as we hoped considering the prices. However the service was outstanding and we enjoyed trying something new!
Great food. Took a little longer in between courses than usual but overall great experience.
We were offered a table right next to the bar area which we didn't take because of the loud noise in the bar. It wasn't indicative of a higher class restaurant. We opted for the upstairs serving area where I was served a beet salad with too much dressing and very small pieces of beets. Dinner was okay. First pass at wine provided wine that was bitter (it had turned). I ordered dessert but was later told that they were out of what I ordered. The dessert I did receive was very good. I asked for some port and the waitress didn't know what port was. We complained about my friend's short ribs (not the proper cut) but the staff was very responsive and clarified that their dish was the appropriate cut (our mistake). They were also responsive when my friend ordered a custom martini. Overall, not a great dining experience. I guess we had a different expectation as to the type of restaurant it is.
Everything was great as usual. Good food and beer. Atmosphere is very warming.
Good was very good but despite having a reservation had to wait an hour for our table. Management did apologize and comp a round of drinks.
We had a 7:00 reservation and weren’t seated until 7:25 which was frustrating. With the exception of the risotto the food was very good.
A fun place to be to kickoff one’s weekend. Nice to be able to get good food and have a bar and music at the same time.
Ambiance is perfect, there was an acoustic guitar player that didn’t know the words to any of the songs so it wasn’t worth the noise. The food was delicious but the portion size for my ravioli was not worth the price. The tables we’re too close to each other but it was very comfortable and romantic inside.
