Great food, good portion sizes, not pretentious, and amazing service!

Pasta was crunchy (undercook, not al dente). The person accompanying me had a bad mussel. We had warn that we did not want raw food but not warned that a dish had roe in it. The service was friendly and did apologize. They did not charge us for the two dishes that were bad.

Sebastian our server made our dinner very pleasant the first time, then I had to come back the week after to share thy same experience with my kids and his service was even better.
We loved having a cozy home environment and the food variety and portions are perfect

Absolutely outstanding, the food was delicious, fantastic wine menu, great ambiance, COVID precautions being followed. Appreciate the service, the staff is doing a fantastic job given new restraints and reduced staff. Overall a 10/10 experience, would highlight recommend.

North and Navy is an exceptional restaurant! From walking-in the ambiance was beautiful. The service was amazing, the staff really know how to make you feel at home. The food was so delicious, all of the flavours just worked so well together. And we can't forget about the amazing wine list, the wine we had originally ordered was out of stock but our server recommended another one and it was perfect! Will definitely be going there again and recommending all of our friends and family.

We loved our experience at North & Navy. Each of our courses were delish, so much attention to detail in each dish. Our server was very knowledgeable and paired the wine well!

I loved the place and our server was very nice. The food was ok. My only complain is how pricey it is. I don't think I will go back for a while. I've should have looked at the menu before reserving. But if you'd like to spend over $100 per person (with no alcohol) for an ok meal, then this is your place.

Some of the food was overly salty. The staff were very accommodating.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at North and Navy. The service was great, as were the cocktails and food. :) We are both vegetarian, both times I have been to the restaurant they were able to accommodate with a “chef’s plate” which is full of seasonal vegetables and always delicious.

It was a nice dinner. The main dishes were very good. Value is almost where it needs to be to match the price point.

I would highly recommend dining at North & Navy. The ambiance was upscale and lowkey. The perfect setting for a date. The server was amicable and knowledgeable. I’m not a foodie but my date and I both enjoyed our meals. They have an extensive drink menu and an impressive wine list. The cocktails are professionally mixed. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

We had an incredible evening we were a table of four at the window! The service was just right not too much but always on time. The food was spectacular we had no criticism! Couldn’t find fault with anything. The lamb chop was amazing fell off the bone tender on a beautiful bed of risotto. The guys have the ribeye steak with rosemary potatoes and loved it. My girlfriend had the scallops. I tasted one they were cooked to perfection! Ended with a beautiful cappuccino and dessert. Will definitely be going back soon!

NoNa is our favourite Italian place in downtown Ottawa! We’ve been ordering from them for awhile but this was our first chance to dine in and it was excellent. We can’t wait to do this more often once COVID is behind us!

Beautiful food....in taste and presentation. Knowledgeable server, creative menu, warm and welcoming staff.

They made outside dining during a global pandemic feel comfortable and luxurious.

Beginning with our arrival at the restaurant our experience was exceptional. As our table on the heated patio was not yet ready (we were early), the host greeted us with complementary mulled wine which was delicious and warming. Upon seating us at the table, we were presented with blankets to offset and cold we may still be feeling despite the patio heaters casting a warming glow from above.
Our server was passionate about the food being offered and gave us a detailed walkthrough of the menu. Despite the restrictions in place due to Covid-19, North and Navy managed to provide an intimate, fun, and cozy atmosphere. Coupled with their amazing menu and drink selection, we left our meal smiling and eager to return

Overall, an outstanding experience.

We were seated outdoors, on a chilly night, but were offered a delicious mug of mulled wine and a blankets to keep us warm.

Fabulous dinner experience - and an experience it was! Service was flawless, an atmosphere where you can stay for hours, and authentic yet original plates and flavours.

I eat at a lot of nice restaurants in Ottawa, and abroad), but this was the best dining experience of my life. Service, food, drink, and ambiance all top shelf. I was shocked at the generous portions, and overall quality. Best restaurant in Ottawa, hands down
