Pampa's a great restaurant to eat without guilt! Great place and very nice service.
I always enjoy going here. The food is amazing, and there's a ton of it. The servers are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And there's so many choices of food, and you want to try all of it. Amazing!
Would have expected the meat to be outstanding and super flavorful, it wasn't.
Went for Father's Day. We were a group of 6, 2 were children. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. We loved every aspect and were treated to an abundant brunch and fabulous food. Good times were had.
Food was very good and so was the service. A little pricey especially when you have small eaters. However the food was delicious andyou can eat until you drop. The roasted pineapple was the best. So was the licor 43 dessert drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant particularly for that special occasion..
Nice concept. Meats were very good as was salad bar. Would like to see more hot ( heated ) side dishes. The mash potatoes were just luke warm when put out and of poor texture. Baked or steamed potatoes and hot mixed rice would be nice. Service was wonderful . A very good experience. Certainly worth the visit.
Never disappointed with this spot a tru gem just make sure your hungry
it has really gone down hill there the gauchos do not make regular laps so some food you see come around lots and some you see once. For the price you should have a great experience. This is the 2nd time we have had a bad experience in a row we will probably won't be back as there are many tasty restaurants in Edmonton with good food AND good service to match.
We have been a handful of times now and every time the food has been amazing! Especially the meat options! It never disappoints! Papmpas has become one of our favourite restaurants to dine!
The food is amazing!! Have to be very hungry so you can try it all. Will definitely be going back.
We went to Pampas doe our anniversary. All the meat selections were done perfectly. Great selection of sides. The service was excellent.
The food was excellent. Perfect for those who like meat. The salad bar is also very good. You never leave dissatisfied.
Lovely dinner. Delicious food and a fun, original kind of dining experience. A little pricier than average dinner out, but great value for a special occasion.
The service was excellent and the variety of the buffet and meats was terrific. The meats themselves were often over cooked and sometimes toughened because of that. Quite pricey
Fantastic dinner. Good service.
Most enjoyable evening
I really enjoy going to Pampas the food is good and love the selection of food.
The service is great and the personnel really friendly.
Overall is the best.
We weren't sure if dessert was included with the meal we did see some people taking their dessert home. However, we were too full to have dessert but because it was our anniversary, manager/waitress brought us a beautiful plate Happy Anniversary in Chocolate with some fruit and a candle - it was lovely and totally unexpected.
Absolutely amazing food, great service, and just a wonderful dining experience. Bring your appetite
We have been to both the downtown and south Edmonton locations on multiple occasions and it is definitely declining.
When we first went to Pampas about 2 1/2 years ago, there was a very welcoming atmosphere and the waiters serving the meat would come by non-stop. At this last visit, everyone was more concerned about telling us there was a two-hour table limit than they were on welcoming us; we were told this 4 different times within 10 minutes of arriving. We had to repeatedly ask our waitress to have them come over with meat and now that they added shrimp to the menu, they seem to think it is made of gold, only to be shared on a rare occasion.
I am not sure if managers have changed or if they are in financial trouble but I am assuming something drastic has happened that has changed this restaurant significantly for the worse. We won't be returning, which is a shame as it was great to have a reliable Brazilian BBQ in Edmonton and now we will have to wait for our trips to Calgary and Canmore to go to Gauchos instead.
Come here regularly and leave happy and full everytime!
We've been to Brazilian BBQ restaurants before so we knew what to expect. The challenge is to not over-eat, which can happen so easily between the scrumptious options on the salad bar and the delicious servings of meat coming to your table every few minutes. We tried to pace ourselves a little better, still ate way too much but enjoyed every bite.
good and service was great!
Amazing food! My favourites are the rump steak and pork belly. So good!
we come to this location often and enjoy the ambiance more than the Ellerslie location. We were disappointed this visit that we were put in a corner and did not see many of the meat selections without request. Our server was great and did eventually have them come over but it seemed like an inconvenience to the Rodizios.
First time here. Great spot for a special night out. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend it to others and return ourselves.
Service was excellent. Some meat (sausage was not brought out until we were full) Other selections of the same meat were offered a number of times. Salad bar was good with a variety of choices. When we made the reservation we mentioned our anniversary and they did remember by providing a small amount of fruit and chocolate, which was just the right amount as we were really full from the meal. We had ordered Caprinha's (traditional Brazilian drink) which were ok (not too much alcohol and considering the price $12.00 each.) When in Brazil we paid approx. $6.00 to $8.00 dollars for them. Overall experience was very good and we would return.
Went to Pampa with my fiancée for his birthday dinner and it was an awesome experience, but definitely not a "cheap eats" type of restaurant. I wish I could remember our server's name because he was very professional yet personable, and made sure that we tried all the cuts of meat. He was tall and had glasses. We sat in the back of the restaurant where it was a lot quieter and made for a more intimate dining experience. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you want to try a variety of different foods in a fun and different way, and want to leave full to the brim! We had desserts (banana meringue and cheesecake) that were delicious. They even decorated my fiancée's plate to wish him a happy birthday! I wouldn't say that I personally liked ALL the different meats, but a few definitely stood out (top sirloin steak, chicken drumsticks, and the lamb were my favourites!) and whatever I didn't like concerning the meats was made up for with the fun experience and great service. Just one tip: make sure to pace yourself and grab small portions at the salad bar so you have room to try all the meats!
Delicious food. Come hungry and expect to eat lots.
Went here for lunch; $26 per person. Food was good for the value, the beef isn't cooked evenly so it's a bit of a hit and miss. I didn't care much for the salad bar but their brazilian cheese bread is a must-try. Overall, it was a good place. Would come again.
The food and everyone was amazing
SO GOOD. I love coming to Pampa. Everything from the service to the food is fantastic. The salad bar has some great options and a lot of variety, but the all-you-can-eat rodizio is where this place shines.
Even through single person, they are quite friendly
Wendy and I had a great time and would recommend it to all our friends.
Pampa is our go to place for large family gatherings. The food is good, suits nearly everybody and we are never rushed. You don’t have to eat lots of meat since the salad bar is varied and always fresh.
Great dining again. Highly recommend this place. Everyone should experience pampas
Not good value for the price. Very noisy environment
My first time and I really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend. I did recommend your restaurant to co-workers.
Food was very average....
My daughter was vegetarian...we went for mothers day because her mother wanted to go, however, we figured there would be more vegetarian options but when we asked we were told that there was just one menu for everyone.
My final and biggest issue is that tipping is mandatory. Since when did tipping become mandatory. I tip if the service is good..which it was, and probably would have left a tip anyway, but when it is mandatory it leaves a bad taste in my mouth....will never return no matter how good food is or isnt. Tipping is optional...if it is mandatory it's a cost and for 3 of us for lunch we already paid enough. Thai food is just as good if not better at a fraction of the cost.
I always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I was surprised at the pricing for the mother's day brunch, it was cheaper than I thought.
Food was great, seating and service was prompt and extremely professional. Rotating meat selection makes for a different food experience every time!
