Parkside Rotisserie & Bar

First time visit. Excited to try. Service was slow and inattentive. Expected more from what I heard. Food itself was decent but not so great to warrant the price. Not in a rush to return any time soon.

Always a go-to place for a nice, quiet meal. Great ambiance, service, and menu selection.

The food is incredible, the staff is attentive to your needs, and the management is superb. Many of us are looking for a bit of normalcy in our lives. A place we can go to, where we have had some great times in the past to forget about the craziness we have been through the past several months. The staff at the Park has helped many of us achieve that wish.

It’s always great here. Food is delicious and the tables were sat socially distanced and all precautions were adhered to so well we felt safe and were able to really enjoy our rare time out together.

First time here and will definitely be back! Food was phenomenal, cooked perfectly and delicious.

Reese was a fantastic and attentive waiter. We love this spot but unfortunately haven’t been eating out much because of COVID. Thank you for a delicious lunch!

This is one of our favorite places in providence. Great food and atmosphere. Just so sad that COVID keeps people away. Hope this place makes it through.

Our lunch at Parkside was very nice- the waitress was terrific, attentive but not overbearing. We were celebrating a birthday and she automatically brought over a little chocolate cake with a candle afterwards. Really nice touch, we will certainly be back

One of the best spots in providence. Food is excellent (pork chop, calamari, tartare, creamed corn, duck are favorites) and it is some of the best fine dining value in the city. Service is great, bar is great, prices are great. A must visit in the city.

I almost had the entire restaurant to myself. It was an enjoyable meal but the server was a little distracted.

Although sitting outside is always fun,especially downtown, the noise of motorcycles & dirt bikes was very annoying. Nothing Parkside can do about it but, the noise does affect the experience. As usual, the food and drink selection were good. Unfortunately, our server was less than excited to be there and the average service showed. Nothing tip reducing but, not the usual Parkside attention & energy. Regardless, we will back with hopes that this was only an off-day.

It was our first visit - LM We arrived early for our reservation. They were very accommodating- there was an opening at the bar and said we could sit there until that reservation came in which coincided with our reservation.

The bartender was super friendly and made two fantastic martinis 🍸. An Expresso and Vodka!

We were sat at our table - our very friendly server promptly came to the table. As we had our drinks, she told us the specials and said she would be back.

We were sat near the open kitchen and were amazed at the team of three working in sync and putting out fantastic looking dishes!!

She came back within a reasonable amount of time - we chatted about appetizers and settled on the Grilled Octopus (grilled to perfection- not over done but had the right balance of grill marks/taste) and Nicoisse salad which was a first for my husband who loved it. The tuna was delicious and very tasty!

It was a hard choice for dinner as so many things looked so good! For dinner my husband ordered the Pork Rack off the “rotisserie menu section” Oh boy is this something to talk about! Besides the sheer (3-4 inches thick at least!) It was unbelievably tender and delicious 😋

I ordered the pan seared Scallops which were perfectly seared, tender and sweet! Yum!

We will definitely be back as there is so many other dishes we want to try. Not sure if my husband will order something other than the Pork Rack - really a show stopper and delicious!

Consistently EXCELLENT! One of my favorite RI restaurants. The entire team is world-class. I have never had a bad meal and often just order the specials.

This place was good, but honestly for the quality of the food I felt it was overpriced. I am use to going to a lot of fancy expensive places but the food just doesn't compare. However their glazed carrots where so amazing. I was just expecting more from the rest of my food.

Second visit to Parkside. Very busy Saturday night. Seated at the back of the restaurant per request, but by the kitchen which was very noisy. Table for two is very small. We had to remove deck so plates and glasses could fit. The rolls were not very tasty and burnt. First round of drinks not made correctly. Our server Jillian was very accommodating and apologetic.
Oysters delicious but not given little forks with them so we made due with little spoons in the condiments! Not easy.
We both had filet mignon. Mine was cooked perfect medium rate. My guy's was perfect in my opinion but definitely not cooked medium, but he enjoyed it. Overall a good evening though

Lovely dinner with an experienced, profession server and staff.

If this would have been the first time we went there we probably would not go back! The place was crazy. Very short staffed cause people called out - Steak was not prepared correctly- couldn't get oysters when wanted so they were going to come out after meal. I love this place and wait staff is usually phenomenal definitely an off night. They were apologizing. - Very disappointed and we were bringing our friends for the first time so not a good impression for them. Of course I will go back cause it is usually the bomb!!!

The food was outstanding , the atmosphere was great, and our waitress was friendly and efficent.

You would think asking for a steak done medium means it won't have a burnt layer on top. The rest of the food was good.

The food was excellent and I recommend the rotisserie features. Restaurant was very busy and we had to wait a few minutes, but manager did his best to seat us promptly.

We had a wonderful dinner outside. The charcuterie & cheese board was well balanced & delicious. Our dinners were cooked & presented beautifully. I didn’t even need a knife to cut my filet! The spicy creamed corn and truffle risotto were large portioned accompaniments. We couldn’t stop eating that creamed corn! To top it off, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable & engaging, and made our dinner experience delightful.

Overall good outdoor dining experience. Table was not ready when we arrived and a fare amount of traffic noise. Waiter was very good and the food was excellent.

We have always enjoyed dining here, the only issue we had was our table was very small and we felt like we were awkwardly sat in the middle of the dining room. We completely understand that due to Covid changes in table arrangement need to be made, it was just a little uncomfortable. We’ll be back but probably not until the seating restrictions are lifted.

Everything was perfect start to finish. Best meal we have had in Providence. We will be back when we visit again!
