We always enjoy Pasta Pasta, and always make a reservation. This particular Sunday when we arrived there was not much of a table selection, and we were told the theater let out so the tables filled up quickly. Yes, we had come from the theater and that is why we made a reservation, in order to have a table available. We did ask to wait until a booth was available but were told there were no checks on the tables yet. Then we were offered a very small table in the back by the kitchen - we have sat there before and it is not a comfortable fit for us. We finally were given a table in the first room in the back.
As is the norm the food was delicious, the only thing I would like to say is my appetizer was cool not even really warm. Very unusual for Pasta Pasta.
I really hate to give any negative comments but I think these items should be addressed, when we make a reservation we expect a table that's the idea of the reservation.
Otherwise, we still love Pasta Pasta, we have been coming for years and always enjoy the food and the service.
Pasta Pasta never disappoints.
Pasta Pasta has always been one of my favorite restaurants but now that Debbie is the owner she has made something great even better! I don't know how she does it but the food tastes better, the ambiance is a little nicer and my overall experience is just FABULOUS!
Love this place. Owner, Manager - Anthony and staff are awesome and the food is amazing!
Always a great experience! Food and service were outstanding!
We have loved this restaurant for many years. It’s our “go to” for many special occasions. My husbands office is in town so it’s also a great impromptu lunch date place. This past dining experience was a disappointment. I ordered the dinner special and was given a different “regular “ menu dinner. I felt terrible complaining about it, but I was so looking forward to our New Years dinner experience. Our waitress was very accom
The food was well prepared. This staff were attentive and accommodating.
Only negative is:
On a Monday nite; we have reservations; I get there first( all are definitely coming; the restaurant is not crowded; it is pouring out and freezing/ -and I would like to be seated to warm up, get some bread (had no lunch) and maybe some wine.
Sorry “house rules” are only whole parties are seated.
Sorry but customer service needs to be worked on.
I was going to book a party of 12 next month for my staff but this turned me off completely. Many restaurants are able to accommodate people with kindness and courtesy from the moment of arrival without blind adherence to “the rules.”
I am so sorry about your experience and agree that that evening you could have been seated. It is very hard to explain the reasoning for seating complete parties but it mostly is for the weekends. We do pride ourselves on customer service and sorry that we fell short that evening. I promise to speak with my hostess and hope that you will give us another chance.
Very rushed and uncomfortable experience with the service after they allowed us to make a reservation 5 minutes before the kitchen closed.
I am so embarrassed by your experience. My staff knows how I feel and I do not want anyone to feel rushed. It was unacceptable that they made you feel that way. Please call me at the restaurant. (631) 331-5335. Debbie
Location is great, ambiance is nice and the service was a ten. The pizza I would not get again, but the dessert ravioli was excellent and perfect to split (for two).
Pasta Pasta was amazing. We can't wait to go again. The food is delicious starting with the yummy round bread they serve with butter inside. The menu has something for everyone's tastes. 😋
We dine there often, always outstanding!
Wife had salmon, fish if the day and I had veal parmegian.
Excellent as always! Debbie ,Jerry and Anthony are the best !
Always a wonderful experience. Service and food are excellent.
Made an early reservation to try to avoid the holiday rush. Waited more than 30 minutes for the table in a crowded waiting area. Graciously, we were offered drinks while we waited. Much to our dismay those drinks ended up on our bill. Not as much as a cup of coffee for the prolonged wait. The food and service once we were sat was good but certainly not worth the wait and poor customer service. Much better local options so until they show more respect towards their customers or learn how to take and “hold” a reservation we will be dining elsewhere
I am so sorry about your experience. You definitely should not been charged for the wine and it is not our policy. We pride ourselves on our customer service and am so sorry we fell short on that day.I hope that you will give us another chance. I Spoke to my hostess and she said it was a miscommunication between her and the waitress. Please contact me at email@example.com that I can make it up to you
Great. The only thing I could say was our waitress could have been a little more engaging. However that would not keep me away from coming back.
Food is always good here. Salad of string beans and beets was delicious! Stuffed bread is always a treat,
I had pulled pork on Butternut ravioli, Others has salmon with risotto, Veal scallopini, and chicken parm..all were enjoyed.
Excellent as always.
Very enjoyable dining experience! Very relaxed atmosphere.
The friendliness from the staff and the attention Debbie gave us made us feel right at home. And the meal was outstanding. The best pasta dish this side of Italy. I only wish I had room for dessert!
We waited for 30 minutes and left because they could not seat us
I am so sorry. We really try to not let that happen. With the really bad weather people were sitting extra long. We had tables sitting over three hours. Unfortunately right after you left a tale got up. I tried to find you. I hope you will give us another chance. Please ask for Debbie, Jerry or Anthony if you choose to try us again.
We went here for lunch for my mom's birthday! Everything we had was amazing. My mom's omelette was cooked perfectly and my salad was perfect. The brownie pie dessert was beyond yummy. Our server was attentive and nice.
Anniversary dinner and they rushed us out in less than 1 hour. DO NOT Recommend.
Very nice restaurant
Pasta Pasta has been a favorite for many years. The food is consistently excellent. It is a wonderful place to celebrate an occasion or just for night out.
My wife and I went on a Saturday night around 5:10 pm; our OT reservation was at 5:30 pm. Hostess graciously welcomed us and was able to sit us right away. We were seated in a booth which was welcomed by us. Restaurant was fairly busy but the noise level was quiet to moderate which was another plus.
Dinners were great (ravioli parmigiana and grilled seafood combo). It was enough food that neither of us finished everything. Both meals were piping hot and cooked perfectly.
Our server was attentive, pleasant and we weren't rushed and were done in an hour. We passed on dessert but menu looked appetizing. When we left we were thanked and bid goodnight. Overall a great experience and would definitely go back when in the Port Jeff area.
Pasta Pasta rarely disappoints. We were there for lunch with friends. As usual, the complimentary bread is so scrumptious that it’s hard not to devour it and fill up on that! We had sandwiches which were plentiful. Most were enjoyed however mine was overly seasoned with pepper and I couldn’t finish it. I had ordered the short rib sandwich but will not order it again. All else was quite enjoyable.
Food and service as delicious as ever. We go to Pasta Pasta every year for our Anniversary and will continue to do so. A wonderful tradition that never disappoints ❤️
Great dinner with great friends!! Service was amazing! Anthony was super-attentive and even helped me find my wallet that I inadvertently dropped in the restaurant as I was leaving. Cannot wait to go back!!!
As always, the food was outstanding and the service impeccable.
Food was good. Service was excellent. A little noisy but it was a Saturday night.
Went to Pasta Pasta during restaurant week
My experience with other restaurants during this week has been that the portions are very small. NOT so at Pasta Pasta. Went with another couple and we both took leftovers home. The food was delicious!!
You can also BYO wine got a $25 corking fee. If you have a special wine (expensive and plan on having more than one glass each) it is well worth it to pay the fee.
Go, you will not be disappointed.
Restaurant week with an excellent menu
Excellent service friendly And patient servers
Pasta Pasta is GREAT, GREAT! The
Our server Anthony was great! The stuffed ravioli desert was amazing we will be back
The quantity is always guaranteed and you will not regret. So glad it is still open as two of my favorite restaurants closed last year.
I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. I'm writing this review because tonight the food was beyond exceptional! Had the fried mozzarella and prosciutto rolls... Amazing! And the almond crusted chicken and coconut rice was phenomenal! Had no room left for the canoli so I took it home. Just split it with the wife and kids... They all loved it! Can't wait to go back!!!
Overall it was a wonderful experence
Hoping to have a nice dinner before going to the theatre, we chose this restaurant. We made sure we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy dinner. The waitress was in a rush to get us to order, the appetizers and dinner came out too fast to have actually been cooked fresh. My daughter ordered the margarita pizza. There was a piece of plastic in her pizza. Didn't even bother telling waitress, just gave up at that point. Would never go back.
